As their website promises, the sites are large, level, and dry. Their "full-time on-site manager"…read moreactually goes home at 5 PM, but on the phone she was very pleasant and accommodating for our late arrival. The park appears largely residential, but there is plenty of space for transients. The park is surrounded by slightly swampy open pastureland. There is zero ambience - it's pretty much a flat, unadorned gravel parking lot. There is one small onsite singlewide which houses the offices, laundry, and restrooms. The laundry is one washer and one dryer. The restrooms consist of one men's and one women's room, each containing one toilet, sink, and shower stall, all suitably clean. There is a water fountain. The site power and water hookups were modern and in good repair. We didn't use the sewer hookup. There is no cable. The park maintains a satellite Internet connection for the guests, but the password wasn't volunteered on the phone and I didn't know to ask. I was taken slightly aback by the legend on my site's faucet handle, which read "do not drink." The closest restaurants are seven miles down the road in the town of Welsh - however, since the only places open in Welsh on Mondays are fast food chains, I am unable to comment on the local cuisine. Knocked a star off for the $40 a night price, way overpriced for what is offered. $25 would be more like it.

We recently stayed here for 4 nights and I couldn't of been happier with the time we spent here and…read morethe accommodations. I was looking for an RV Park close to my parent's home but there were other considerations as well. I started the process more than a month prior to our travel, after looking at the property online I called the property management company and started my inquiry with Debra she was very friendly and provided me with answers to all my questions. I knew there were still a lot of displaced people from the 2020 hurricanes that devastated the area in and around Lake Charles I also knew there were a lot of out of town workers that were taking up a lot of RV sites in the area while working on the numerous projects at the petrochemical plants. Debra is a great communicator and followed up with me as our trip approached, a little more than a week out we confirmed a site and everything was set. I was assigned site #17 a nice drive-through site that would accommodate our 40' MotorCoach and our Jeep Wrangler that was in tow. The utilities hookups were outstanding each site has accommodation for 30 amp and 50 amp electrical service, water and sewer, all of the utilities are very well maintained we experienced no issues. The site was very easy to access even with my big rig I simply pulled in without having to make any corrections, pulling out of the site was just as easy. The park was nearly filled but the sites are laid out in a manner that no one is on top of one another offering some privacy - the park is very quite and well maintained, it ended up being exactly what we were looking for. It's very difficult to find out about an area prior to arriving, this RV Park is in close proximity to I-10 and is located on a non-congested section of Hwy 90, the entrance is gated and the area felt very safe. I'd definitely stay here again if a site is available...
