This pickup went well - the driver was waiting in the parking area, and got me to my hotel in short order. She was very pleasant and professional. I was impressed with the service, so scheduled a ride from my hotel back to the station the day before I was to leave. I waited outside the hotel the next morning for the ride - it did not arrive at the scheduled time. I waited 6 - 8 more minutes, then decided to walk in order to get to my train on time. I called the dispatch number when the ride did not arrive at the scheduled time and asked for a status update. No call or text was ever returned. In both instances, Sunrise was supposed to text me when the driver arrived to let me know where they parked, what they were driving, etc., and they did not do so. All I can say is, have a backup plan in place if you decide to use this service.

It is located on a dead end street so it makes it quiet. Before we arrived, I received an email from Sarah, the owner asking if we had any food allergies as she makes breakfast. She also wanted to check that we were able to go upstairs, as that was where our room was located. We had the door code to get in because we were going to get there after Sarah left. Once we got there, I realized I have stayed here before under a different name and ownership. It was a steep climb upstairs, but totally managable. We found our room clean and well appointed. It had a refrigerator with plenty of cold water. There were also plenty of towels in the room. It was very cute and the bed was comfortable. Our bathroom was very large. Sarah said the upstairs used to have 2 bedrooms, but they converted the small one to a large bathroom with a large closet. So our bedroom/bathroom were spacious. The breakfast in the morning was excellent. Plenty of choices and nice fresh. The food was placed. in the beautiful kitchen and you served yourself. Then the people staying at the B&B ate breakfast on the front porch. I highly recommend the Luckystone Inn. Sarah is a gracious host.

Located on a quiet street on the edge of the downtown Saugatuck area, we were only a few blocks from Saugatuck's best food and shoppes yet we still slept peacefully. The owner personally manages the small inn and is happy to share stories of her inn adventure and is excited to learn about her guests. Daily, after preparing a wonderful gourmet style breakfast with warm coffee and delicious scones, she joins her guests to talk about the upcoming day's adventures and to listen to stories from the day before. If you need a cozy retreat to call your base camp for your time in the Saugatuck area, this will be a great place to go. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

That may be perfectly fine for some folks, but my take is that traveling can often be inconvenient enough without the added burden of locking elbows with strangers over grape jelly. I burden you with this preamble mostly because that's the opposite of the situation with Serendipity, a quaint and comfortable, funky and friendly boutique in Saugatuck, where I spent a couple of days recently, in town for a wedding. The proprietors really make these experiences happen, and I thought the two folks who run Serendipity couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating - daily they bring breakfast to your room (ours was its own separate building, as were -- from what I could tell -- many of the rooms here), so you really felt waited on, yet comfortably in your own space. We stayed in the Music Room, which comes adorned with all sorts of sheet music, framed art of composers, and the like. Full kitchens, extensive video collections, kid friendly and those breakfasts they brought by really hit the spot. We had a perfectly fine time here. It's not fancy, if that's what you're looking for, but if you're spending some time on vacay or off the see some friends tie the knot, you could do much worse. I'm not in town very often, but I'd definitely stay here again if I were.

You dont tell customers "im writing someone up" thats unprofessional- long story short they won't be getting any of my money ever. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE and PHONE ETIQUETTE. The bed and pillows were so comfy and the linens were pristine. We had breakfast each morning on the back patio which was peaceful and quaint. The pool was lovely and we really enjoyed the screened-in patio. The staff were so nice and accommodating, the service was impeccable. This hotel is close enough to Saugatuck to easily walk anywhere in town but set far enough back to be very quiet. We will definitely be back.
