Both Nanny & Families -…read more After careful consideration as I hate to disparage anyone, I decided to convey my experience.  I have over 20 years experience as a nanny and a caregiver with excellent references. I also have extensive professional corporate experience in executive positions.  My last charge was a year ago and I decided it was time to love another young one. I find great enjoyment in teaching children.  I contacted Madison after seeing a position I was very much peaked my interest.  The response from Madison was " You sound great and I would love to interview you! I am currently on leave and conducting all of my interviews via Skype or Facetime."  I responded that I did not use Skype (archaic type of video chat) and had an Android. However suggested we could do Facebook messenger as video chat or an initial telephone interview.  Madison responded with "FB messenger is definitely an option, let's do that!" And set a meeting time.  The meeting time came and went with no contact from Madison. I called and left her a VM as well as reached out via email with no response to our missed meeting. I wish I had read all the reviews prior to applying and wasting my valuable time. This is an issue with her. And while she continues to apologize and/or make excuses it appears this is ongoing for years.  In my experience this nanny serive will let down both the nanny and families with the lack of follow through, professionalism and consistent excuses as to why it failed (her previous responses) Hopefully in the future she will realize the value of others time.

Madison is an absolutely joy to work with! Finding a new nanny to care for your kids is a very…read morestressful process and she has come to our rescue on multiple occasions. Madison truly cares about finding the right fit for both the family and the nannies. We've worked with other nanny finding services but no one else has given the same care and compassion that Westside Nanny provided. She really took the time to understand our family dynamics and make suggestions on what qualities to look for in a nanny. We have a very busy family schedule and Madison made sure that she screened all the candidates and only recommended the quality people that she felt would be a good fit for our kids. Interviewing candidates can be so time consuming and stressful but Madison was able to give us the highest quality options for a nanny. Madison really considers the feelings of both the families and nannies and strives to find the perfect match. We are very fortunate to have worked with someone who has a passion for her business. We can't thank her enough for what she's done for us and we would highly recommend her to anyone seeking quality child care.

It's definitely cheaper than some spots, but they should charge even less due to the poor service…read moreand treatment they provide to the pups. My dog used to cry on the car ride there - he only gets excited now when we go to his new daycare. Don't think that's any coincidence. They're contained to a windowless warehouse space - *they do not take them outside at all*. So they just poop and pee on the hard cement all day. They randomly kicked our puppy out, mind you with no warning at all, due to his "behavior". When I dropped him off that day, they took him in and then the girl immediately told me she'd be giving him a bath because he just laid in another dogs pee. Like it was our fault.. maybe she should've cleaned up the mess sooner? Then I proceeded to watch her scream at the dogs. She seemed miserable (she was the only one working and there had to be at least 20 dogs in there). When we went to pick him up after we were notified he was kicked out, we thought he bit someone or something. Turns out their reasoning was he was just too rambunctious.. because he's a PUPPY. Why would they let a less than 1 year old puppy into their daycare to begin with if they didn't want to handle puppy energy?? Before leaving with him we asked if he'd gotten that bath and instead of answering the question, the manager/owner (I think her names Tabitha) just proceeded to talk badly about our dog. My partner said, "right you just told me you thought he was too much, I'm just asking if he was given a bath like we were told he'd be given." The owner replied "I'm not sure." She should not be allowed to operate this business. Ended up being a blessing in disguise because we found a new daycare - Kate is pricier than paws play but the dogs run around outside, and she seems like she loves what she does. She's also only said very nice things about our pup - "he's always so positive" for example. He's got high energy but he's a very good dog. Moral of the story, Kate's an angel and Tabitha sucks. Don't put yourself or your dog through this.

A great place, I have zero complaints. The staff is diligent, welcoming, and trust worthy.read more
