I enjoyed my hummus, avocado, and sun-dried tomato bagel sandwich with a latte. The bagel itself was on the smaller side but I was full for a couple of hours afterwards. If you're sensitive to caffeine, get decaf or ask for one shot of espresso only in your drink. I enjoyed my latte, which had just the right amount of milk that I could taste and appreciate the coffee blend itself paired with it. The entire team, (but especially Dave) were brilliant. I didn't know what to expect and there was a lot of planning going in. The On Your Bike team was with me every step of the way. Once I got there, they got the bike set up quickly, provided useful info (the brakes are opposite of what they are in U.S. - good to know!). The bike itself was excellent and exactly what I needed for the ride. They even picked up the bike at the end for a small fee. They made what could have been a complex situation super easy. Or even existed. It's a bit like that. They have so much kit, a pretty exhaustive range of stock. Drinks bottles (a range). Biking clothing. Helmets. New slinky wheels. New tyres. A unicycle. And lots and lots of bikes. I found the staff really friendly. Very knowledgeable, which you'd expect, all clearly enthusiasts themselves, which is nice. And all together, really well-presented shop with A LOT of bike products.

The staff here are passionate about cycling as a sport and probably have been since the day they first sat on a tricycle. As well as having a huge range of mountain, racing and all kinds of bikes, they are immensely knowledgeable and good at repair jobs. On the downside, it is often quite difficult to get served you really do have to fight for their attention. Be prepared for a bit of cockney banter and you can even haggle down the price on occasions. When I was finally seen they were worse than useless. Didn't have any advice, said they didn't have much in. The second time I went in the bloke tried to push a second-hand bike on me for £300. Once, I would have forgotten it but this happened both times I went in. I felt like I'd been treated with contempt & totally unvalued. It's a joke of a shop & I won't be going back.

As others have already mentioned the store is currently n the process of redevelopment and while…read morethey are working on the new building they merged their two old buildings into one but unfortunately in the process they removed the canteen. The whole redevelopment process will apparently end in 2017 and by then they will have underground parking & a completely different looking store. That aside the stores still offers everything that it used to offer, which is every single thing you can think of regarding sports equipment at ridiculously low prices! It is also worth noting that apart of the popular brands they also sell their own brands on store which even if you never heard of are of excellent quality if not superior to the main brands. The fact that it stays open until late makes it deserve the 5 stars

Not a spec of dirt on it. But that's only half the story. Unlike the sanitised, sterile bike shops in the vicinity, Druid Cycles is an eclectic, eccentric and wonderful space under the railway arches. It's also run as a social business, with an emphasis of training people to be mechanics. It's superb value for money and is open late into the evening. Never, ever had a problem with this place and would recommend it highly.

If there was a joke that went along the lines of 'how many tourists can you fit in to a novelty shop in Greenwich' the answer would be here on a Saturday. It's packed with them Everywhere. They jump out of corners at you. But I can understand why. Go to Greenwich, buy a compass. I never have, but if someone gave me a compass I'd be really pleased. I think they're romantic. Which makes me sound wierd. They actually don't sell tat in here. It's got some great stuff. Barometers and things like that. Of course, just the kind of stuff you need in your modern flat.
