worse place to bring your bike to be fixed! they lied about fixing things on my bike i fully told them more then 3x went to pick up my bike nothing was done too it but they over charged me for nothing being done and acted like they did work onto the bike. now i have to bring my bike to someone else to be fixed.. This place is terrible! i Went to buy a bike and put a deposit down and days of not getting anywhere with my financing, i decided to look elsewhere. I Found the exact same bike, newer, for much less. i Asked for my deposit back and they gave me the run around, asked me to write a letter explaining why I didn't want the bike and then they would refund me. I told them financing was taking too long and I found another bike. The owner John, spoke with my wife, insulting her and threatening to deduct money from the deposit. They are still not refunding the money, and are refusing to give the full deposit back. They are crooks! Stealing innocent people's money and doing bad business. DO NOT SHOP HERE. read more

I have been riding motorcycles for seven years as of yesterday, and for that entire time haven't had a better experience than here. they aren't perfect, but I truly believe they deserve five stars for the ways they go above and beyond for customer experience. Be very careful should you decide to service your motorcycle here. Do a very thorough inspection of your bike for missing pieces and to double check you got what you paid for. I didn't completely get what I paid for and Mark in service was very rigid about returning my money for a job not completed. He wanted me to bring the bike back and let the same technician work on it again but my trust was already broken and there was a strong refusal to give back money. I don't think their intentions are to scam people but arrogance and a lack of detail orientation coupled with a refusal to refund for services not completed make this service department problematic. If I get refunded for my carburetor set up not being completed then this review will come down. Hopefully the service department will use this as a learning experience to smarten up and refund for their mistakes. read more

I never give 5 stars. Gary, John, the rest including Debby and Tracy up front are always helpful to me. In fact it's in the shop right now getting fixed due to a car ramming it. Gary at Cycle World was excellent! I originally messaged a listing online and instantly received follow-up from Gary with a customized email with a list of motorcycle that was the model that I was looking for. He then followed up with a reminder text with the location address, and personally greeted me at the location with a printout with my name that said "Hold for Nyima" ....Gary knows what he is doing! Spring is here! Nothing like the open road, wind, sunshine, and the smell of exhaust! I used to shop at the original Cycle World back in the day. I didn't know what to expect with the Cycle World Superstore. Cycle World Superstore is not the same company as the old Cycle World, but they definitely cater to all your bikey needs as one of the larger motorcycle shops on the east end. They have a LOT of gear. Not only sportsbike gear, but cruiser gear as well. If you are a dude that wants to be decked out in all black everything, you won't be disappointed! The woman's section is well organized by size and they had some nice jackets. I saw a few older model jackets that I didn't expect to be kicking around (like 5 years old) I didn't see some of the newer jackets I wanted to try on, but it only takes a few days to order it in. I wasn't as impressed with their boot and glove selection though. However, they they had a great selection of helmets, if you like Shoei (yay) and Icon helmets (meh). A more limited selection of Arai helmets though. They had ladies Suomy helmets which actually really surprised me. So shiny and blingy! As for the bike showroom, it was much larger than expected and packed full of used bikes. They had a good range of beginner bikes and larger bikes, and a surprisingly large number of cruisers. They keep the super sports bikes at the front of the store. I found the service here helpful, but you have to do some work too. Prices are average, but I didn't feel like they were taking advantage of you. Great shop! read more

Like the saying goes, "if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it's probably a duck". When you walk into Cycle World Superstore and wonder why it looks and smells like a flea market .... well... trust your gut. Like any flea market, Cycle World has lots of gems hidden away and they are prepared to haggle. Also like any flea market, there are some products in there that are refurbished, repackaged and grossly over priced. Do your homework before you buy. They know there helmets, they know there parts and service, they kinda know they clothing. Definitely stay away from anything to do with technology. End of the day, it's nota bad stop if your in the neighbourhood run by nice folks that are trying to make a buck. Nothing wrong with that. One piece of advice, lose the "Superstore", it leaves new customers feeling disappointed. read more

EXCELLENT. This is the only shop in the GTA you should come to for all of your motorcycle needs. I went for new gear, and left with two new helmets, a jacket and gloves (my pal got the same, as well). Debbie was so patient with our indecisiveness, and she is so incredibly knowledgable, she helped us find the perfect jackets - fit, safety and style. I can't wait to come back to buy a new motorcycle, and I will always get my repairs done here. read more

I bought a used Yamaha from cycle world. I paid extra for fluid change (engine oil, final drive fluid and brake fluid). but none of them were changed, I saw metal filings when I changed the final drive oil myself. brake oil was also in bad shape. read more

These guys sold me an unserviced bike. Clutch died within a kilometer from driving it away. I was guaranteed all fluids would be changed upon pick up. Nothing. There was hardly any oil in it! Yes I could have been more diligent. And Their sales rep Gary was very apologetic. But this store in general is no better than buying from kijiji or craigslist. Look your bike over in fine detail when buying from these guys. Be very weary of what they say and do. read more

Associates were not helpful or friendly, products are worn and sold as new... do not shop here and especially do not put a down payment or try to finance ANYTHING, they will keep your down payment and claim they cannot finance you due to "bad credit". They will then refuse to give you back the down payment and soon after will completely deny you ever handed him cash for a down payment. This place is more of a thrift shop at retail prices. read more

Went into buy a bike, put a deposit down. Found the bike I was buying advertised for a better price, tried to get it matched with lots of problems and run around. Ended up losing my deposit. I also learned their bikes are imported from the USA and bought from auctions, I wasn't satisfied the bike would be free from problems. Even after telling me my deposit is "Fully refundable pending funding" as vague as that is, READ THE BACK OF THEIR CONTRACT and be VERY CAREFUL HERE when you buy a bike, I SUGGEST NEVER TO PUT ANY MONEY DOWN no matter what they tell you! I've been to a few other stores that sell the same type of merchandise (I.e Snow City, Royal Distributing, GP Bikes) The customer service at all these locations are absolutely horrendous. None of the staff greet you or offer you any assistance. When you ask a question, they seem bothered..I would not visit any of the locations listed above...however the customer service at Cycle World is amazing! The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful & you can bargain the prices. Overall, this location deserves 5 stars!! read more

Worst purchase ever. Sold me a lemon. Bike cost over 2000 to fix after purchase with less than 200 miles put on by me. Staff was rude and unknowledgeable. Play it smart, go to a real dealer and don't make the mistake i did. Ruined my first experience in the cycling world. read more

I bought my bike there 9 years ago, (a U.S. demo unit) and they have stored and serviced it ever since. I have had a really positive relationship with these guys. I bought all the riding gear for my wife and I in the store. Buy in the winter and the prices are really good. I would go there if: 1) You don't care if they are an official dealer - they aren't, for any brand. They're a broker/reseller/service center. 2) If you're looking for a mid-sized bike. Their best selection is usually in the middle weight category. 3) You need affordable heated storage in the winter. The prices on the bikes are fair, and if you buy at the end of the season, there are bargains to be had. A solid dealer in a convenient location for anyone on the east side of Toronto. read more
