Jon, who is I believe is an assistant manager, was very friendly and candid. And when I had questions about a particular repair they recommended for our vehicle, he used a handy diagram, right there on the counter, to explain what particular terms meant. There wasn't a trace of condescension, nor did he use any of the common tactics, to try to pressure me to into certain repairs. He was just factual and friendly. Interestingly, another customer piped in at one point, to tell me what straight shooters they are, here. (He'd heard me on the phone, explaining the worse-than-expected diagnosis to my honey.) I think that says a lot, that a random dude wanted to vouch did the place. This location is very handy, if you're in the South Hills. It's in the same plaza as the Giant Eagle and Walmart, on Library Road, across from Brightwood.

They waited all day to start work in the late afternoon. They replaced my alternator. After I got my car back, I noticed the engine was revving constantly. I made another appointment to bring it in first thing in the morning. I had the car in at 8am. I finally called at 2:30 and they said they were getting ready to take a look at it. I took a day off from work for this!! Now it's almost 3pm and they haven't started looking at my car. Don't make an appointment here. They won't honor it!

There were different people working the desk, and not the two I am most familiar with (The guy that looks like "Wolverine," and the nice woman). Not sure if they moved on or not, but I liked them. I recently brought my truck in for an inspection, and I needed some work done to get it passed. It took a few days to get everything fixed. Thankfully they gave me a loaner car, which really helped. After passing inspection, I noticed a few days later when it started to rain, that my windshield wiper blade was torn. It was in good working order prior to entering the shop. Usually I receive a text after a service asking me if things were to my satisfaction, and I was going to tell them about my wiper blade then, but no text ever came. More than likely, I will still come here for tires/alignment/etc., but not sure if I wanna come back for inspection/service. P.S. In my original review, I mentioned Campiti's Pizza was within walking distance, and sadly, they have gone out of business. There is a Mexican Restaurant nearby that you can walk to, and a Sheetz for something to eat/do while waiting for your vehicle to be serviced. Half a Cheer!!!

I was taking a long road trip and just wanted to be safe. 1) they rotated the tires but didn't adjust the PSI. Basic, basic, basic stupid mistake. Really... this is your job, right? 2) Once I got on the highway the steering wheel started to wobble at 75 mph. I didn't have time to go back so had to endure a day of shaky steering wheel. Once I got to my destination I had ANOTHER Discount Tire rebalance and it was much better. The people running this place, and the technicians employed border on gross incompetence.

When I arrived, the gentleman told me that they were running a bit behind but he would try to get my car in asap. At this point, I am desperate to get my ac fixed as it has been in the 90s and I've been baking in my vehicle for a week. Well, they don't take my car back until 10:30!! At 11:15 the man comes back and says my oil change is done but their ac machine broke so he didn't think they would be able to get that done for me today. I called another Meineke who said they could get me in a 1pm. Unfortunately, I had to go back to work so here I am with no ac and wasted my whole morning there. Had they honored my appointment time, I could have gotten in earlier with the other location when they found out that their machine was broken. I mentioned as much to the owner and he was polite and apologetic but could never offer an explanation as to why my appointment time wasn't honored. I can understand running 15-30 minutes behind, even 45, but an hour and a half! The other gentleman mentioned something about walk ins and people who made their appointment in person. Why are they pushing back my scheduled appointment for walk ins and in person appointments?? An appointment is an appointment, it shouldn't matter how it was scheduled. Won't be returning to this location. Completely unprofessional.

I found what I needed online ahead of time and when arrived they were indeed, in stock. Corey offered me a couple other options, just to make sure I knew my options but I felt no pressure to go with different tires. I left very satisfied and passed inspection. Unfortunately, one of my tires was slowly losing air. I would fill it and it would be fine for a week or so, so I kept putting it off. A month after my purchase I decided to go back and get it taken care of, fully expecting to pay for a new tire or repair, since I was 2 weeks beyond their 2 week guaranty. Corey once again was super helpful and put on a new tire for free after realizing their was a small hole. Great service!! Would highly recommend!!

Contacted Championtires who said they were "looking into it." Confirmed. 1 tire went to the wrong address. Huh? What? Why? How? Eventually they sent me a tire. Ugh. In response. Actually did speak to FedEx. They said someone from Champtires did an address change. I even have the email thread with Champtires explaining all this. Take responsibility. Mistakes happen.
