Disappointing Experience I had a very disappointing experience with this dealership. Before making the trip, I was told that I would be able to test ride the motorcycle with my wife riding on the back. When I arrived, I found out that this was not actually allowed, which was frustrating because that was an important part of my decision to purchase the bike. On top of that, the bike was listed at $2,990, but they were adding roughly $1,000 in fees. They also did not seem particularly interested in negotiating or working with me on the overall price. Overall, I felt that the communication beforehand was misleading, and the additional fees and lack of willingness to negotiate left a bad impression. I would recommend making sure you get the dealership's policies, fees, and total out-the-door price clearly confirmed before making the trip. On the plus side the salesperson I was dealing with was very friendly and courteous, just be aware that from my personal experience they tacked on an additional 33% of their list price in fees. read more

Called ahead about a bike I saw on their website. Set an appointment to look it over. When I arrived the bike was out front, ready to go. Went through the pre ride checks and then took it for a test. Steven was patient and easy going. Decided to go ahead. Paperwork took a long time considering that it wasn't terribly busy. They did say they were short handed, but there were only two other customers in the place... There was a little bit of a sales pitch for warranties and service plans that didn't make me super happy but we got through it and I rode the bike home. Overall good experience. read more

Awesome Indian motorcycle dealer. Wish they were down by me in Myrtle Beach. The dealer by us, Coastal Iron has gone quickly downhill the last 5 years or so as far as overall sales and service. So it was refreshing to find a dealer that was so friendly and accommodating. We are on a 10K mile around the country motorcycle trip and was due for our oil change for 4 motorcycles. The staff and the mechanics we met were all awesome. They went out of their way to help. The brought our bikes in and started on them right away. We BS'd with the guys about our trip and ones they took. It was like it used to be at my former dealership in Myrtle Beach SC. They even gave us some free swag, tee shirts, challenge coins, stickers and magnets. Overall it was a experience. If you are in the area stop by. Stay away from this dealer.I saw this bike on Facebook marketplace listed with zero flaws on the bike in the photos.(Photos are in description).I drove 1 hour with cash to pick up this bike and as they brought it out to me I realized the bike is not in the condition as it was in the photos, SNAPPED CLUTCH LEVER, DIRTY AND RIPPED GRIPS, SCRATCHED REAR FENDER and SCRATCHED UP FRONT FENDER. I have purchased two bikes from Cycle Country. Not only was the purchase process a wonderful experience the follow up has been great. I go there for all of my service and anytime I have a question about my bike. I get prompt service that is friendly and always very helpful. I bought the 5 star warranty and as a result all of my regular service is covered. When other things go wrong with the bike the service department has worked with Indian Corporate to get the issue paid for. I just bought a new helmet there and the price was better than any where on the internet. I asked how do they do that and they said that they work to keep their prices low. I drive 60 miles to this dealership and pass another Indian dealership on the way. It is worth the drive every time I go. read more

You can order an rzr, get the call to come pick it up, then when you show up with the trailer, they'll sell it right in front of you and tell you the (white) guy was better qualified. I asked them to install a Viking saddlebag (made specifically for my Honda Rebel 500) for me, thinking that I could do it myself but it couldn't possibly take THAT long for professionals to do it for me. After waiting three hours I finally told them that I'd had enough, and I'd sooner go home with nothing than pay them for another hour. I spent over $450 to install a $320 pair of saddlebags, and THEN they fed me lies about having to "replace the parts to make it fit" when the bags are fully modular and I can SEE that the original fittings were used. So either their mechanic was incompetent or they figured they could take advantage of a new rider and overcharge me by running up the clock. Either way, definitely avoid these guys for repairs. read more

These people do not care about their customers, they only care about making a sale. Save yourself some trouble and do not give them your business. I bought a Honda Ruckus from here on 5/26/21; it was the only one within 100 miles so I made the drive from Portland to Salem to purchase it. I paid almost half down in cash and wanted to finance the other half, sure no problem. I communicated that I wanted to opt in for GAP insurance. Edward assured me that because I was paying so much up front, there's no way I would owe more than the bike is worth and therefore GAP insurance would be a waste of my money. Even said he wasn't supposed to tell me that or he could lose his job. For whatever reason I trusted him. He then went on to upsell me service warranties that, looking back I would not have even used. I live in Portland, it would have made so much more sense to have it serviced somewhere closer to me. This warranty added another $2000 to the total cost. Skip forward three months; my bike gets stolen. Long story short, my full-coverage insurance payed off the bike, but I'm still making payments on a warranty I've never and will never be able to use since August of last year. I've been trying to clear this up with Sarah in Finances, but it's been four months since she supposedly finally got the ball rolling and I'm still making monthly payments on this warranty. Every time I call, she has no new information for me, and has even given me attitude a couple times as if she is the one being inconvenienced. Take your hard-earned money someplace else. read more

Sales was excellent. Edward found me the exact new 2021 Honda Rebel 1100 DCT in Bordeaux Red, that no one else could seem to find anywhere. Got the bike and it is awesome. Edward even swapped out a shorty exhaust for my stock to put on a used one. Ordered a windshield and it took seven months to receive from Honda (not Cycle Country's fault) but once it arrived, service estimated an hour to install and instead it took 3 hours. I would think you would look ahead to see if it's easier than expected. read more

WARNING! Do not allow this shop to work on your Bike. Had brake recall done on my GSX-R1000. After a couple of weeks at the shop they called informing me the work was completed. I picked up my bike, Made it 1mile away from shop and my front brake locked up sending me over the handle bars sliding down the freeway. Ambulance Ride to the hospital with broken bones, road rash and a Concussion. Bike is totaled. read more

We bought got a brand new 2019 Polaris RZR Dynamic 5 weeks ago and have had nothing but problems with these people. First off we bought it and order all the extras the same time including an extra set of sand tires and rims. The people were pleasant and got them ordered.... Okay, so they arrived about 10 days later and we went and picked them up.... Getting ready for our first trip we went to put on the new sand tires and NOPE --- they ordered the wrong wheels.., okay, had to return them and order new ones.... Ours has the GPS built into the dash and upon arriving at the dunes in Florence we saw the GPS still had us in Minneapolis.... Try as we might we could not get it to find us and finally gave up. Upon arriving home we called and they told us we need to update the software. Nope, that didn't work. After calling them back we decided to take it in to not waste anymore time. So we took it in and they looked at it and yep, they forgot to install the GPS sensor from the factory..... So then we had to wait for them to get the part in which took about a week. We scheduled an appointment for 1 o'clock to take it in to get the GPS installed which they told us was a 10 minute job. OK great, we took it in today on our lunch hour and arrived at 12:45 PM. The said it might take an hour because they were running behind. Okay, So we left and came back in an hour... It was untouched. Finally at 2:50 PM they were able to start on it and had it done in 10 minutes. I guess they assume that we have nothing but time to waste... Hope others have a better experience than we have had so far. For us, our next purchase will likely be with people more concerned about the customer service and satisfaction. We have not been impressed with theirs so far. read more

called to find out about price to fix a my oil drain plug, as it stripped out, on my Polaris Rzz. told 145.00 to put in the Helia coil, asked if I could bring my own oil told yes. my bill was 262.95. they would not use my oil, their oil was $18 a quart, shop supplies for $18 the Helia coil was $17 and the washer was three dollars They should have been more upfront with the prices read more

Buyer beware! Came to purchase a new Indian motorcycle and I should have followed my intuition to begin with. Walked in the door to find 3 employees standing at the entrance feeding their faces with donuts. First I thought they were customers since I wasn't greeted, but quickly realized these were the sales guys. As I was walking to find my motorcycle, I realized that not one of the motorcycles in their inventory had a tag with a price or description of the bikes...that was a huge clue I missed. It took a bit of time to locate a salesman familiar with the Indian inventory. I told him my wife was interested in a test ride and if she's happy, we want to ride the bike home today. As my wife was out for a test ride, Matt, the salesman quickly put together the quote and bottom line for the bike. I thought the number was quite high so I asked to see the breakdown. They were charging me $1000 more than MSRP! I confirmed this by looking at the Indian website and told Matt that I''m willing to pay what Indian says the bike is worth, not what you think its worth. On top of that, the fees were considerably higher than what I've paid before. When I questioned why they are charging more than MSRP, I was told "supply and demand". They absolutely would not budge on price. Before my wife returned from the test ride, I located the next closest dealer in Vancouver. They had the exact same bike advertised for MSRP ($1000 less than cycle country). I immediately drove to the Vancouver dealership and my bottom line was $1500 less. I couldn't be happier with the service at Pro Caliber in Vancouver and made me regret my every moment spent at Cycle country. read more

Conner helped me with riding gear, and provided better device than I've had buying from any store of any type. He is very knowledgeable. I never buy extended warranties or maintenance plans. The service here is some of the worst I've ever experienced anywhere. I had an appointment 3 weeks ago to have quads looked at, tuned, and repaired. Then, 3 weeks ago, I was told they could be done the next day. I never received a call with estimates or telling me to pick them up. Since then I've called 5 times. 5 times Justin didn't have the information on the quads. 5 times he said he'd call back and never did. I'm making the 1 hour drive today to pick up what I can and have no idea what the bill will be or if the quads have even been worked on. After this, I will never go back, and definitely do not recommend for service! read more

Went in here this weekend to buy a 2017 Indian Scout. I have to say, from start to end, this was the best dealership experience I've ever had. No one put any pressure on me whatsoever, which was a welcome departure from the countless number of horrible experience I've had at other dealers. It's nice to walk into a place, go for a test ride, and talk to your sales person, without ever any pressure on you. They were asking more than what I was willing to pay, so I showed them the same bike at another dealer for the cost I wanted to pay. The matched the price and I left a happy customer! My sales person Sam was friendly and informative and a pleasure to do business with. The manager Curt was personable and made me feel like a friend instead of a customer. Judging by the amount of foot traffic that was in there while I was buying my bike, these guys will be in business for a long, long time. One year ago today We bought a Polaris Slingshot. What an absolute great purchase experience. Two weeks later we had an issue where someone tried to steal it and in the process tweeked the Rear Shock Mount. The part was not in stock so we were ordering it which meant having the Slingshot on the shelf until it came in. Curt came by and started a conversation, But the time we finished talking he asked the Service Department take one off of an in-stock one and replace mine to keep me on the road. While I don't expect that every time it paid aces for Cycle Country, I tell every one how well I was treated and the respect the showed to me and my wife. Purchasing your "next" new or used motorcycle should not be the major hassle it has evolved into. Combining ease of finance and the brand that you desire can lead you into darker realms of integrity. What happens when a used bike is found to be lacking once purchased? I have found to my regret that Oregon doesn't have a buyer remorse law. So no problem.. Cycle Country should be able to get me into more of what I am looking for no problem right? It's a sad awakening shock to find that the dealer you had placed your trust along with a major commitment of $$ is only looking after the prospect of making more and CYA. Had a bad experience here. Came in to buy a bike at noon. By 2 had filled out all paperwork to do financing. At 7pm (yup, 5 hours later), they tell me they can't get things done (banks closed). Had a buddy come in and buy a bike while I was there, and he was there 7 hours as well. They might be fine on another day, but if it's a Saturday in spring, you couldn't pay me enough to go back. I've literally bought a house in less time. I went in for a bike listed on craigslist with their name on it for 3900. They add fee's to up that back up to about 4500. Worse off, even the 3900 price on that bike was mediocre at best, and about 500 more than any other of the same bike on craigslist otherwise. So to already be priced like it's coming from a dealership, then add 500 in fees, then have the single slowest customer service I've ever seen was just sad. The sales guy I had said he was new, and he really did seem like a nice kid, but whomever he was bringing my paperwork to, who was supposed to be getting things taken care of might have well not been there for all the impact they made. It's not a sales guy problem, it was clearly a process/bureaucracy problem. I've seen a few google reviews with the same 5+ hour time waste, so I'm led to think I might not be alone in this. That said, prices on helmets were cheaper than elsewhere I've seen around here, so after I went and bought a better bike for a better price the following week elsewhere, I did return to buy a helmet. I'd buy parts there, but nothing that involves going through the black hole that is whatever administration the place has. read more

Requested a quote online for a crf 125f for total cost out the door with a breakdown of price and any related fees on a cash purchase. They called me with a few hours (or less) and informed me that it wasn't in stock (despite the fact they have it on their website and CycleTrader), but could order it; however, they couldn't provide the pricing/fee info. The person then suggested I consider a CRF 250f. I told them the bike is for kids (oldest is 11) and a 250 is too big and fast and it's not what I called about. They then start asking questions about how big the kids are, age, etc. to gauge if the kids could ride a 250. Sorry, I've ridden for 30+ years and can make that judgment on my own. Obviously this dealership doesn't want to sell motorcycles. read more
