We had 35 minutes of play in the space world and then moved over to 35 more minutes at the candy land. Then we moved on to the private party room for 50 minutes. The host would use a siren when it was time to move to the next room and to guide us over.  I'm thoroughly impressed with the way Wacky Tacky handles birthday parties. They clearly know what they're doing. The host took care of everything which took the stress away from me. She set up the room, put my favors and cupcakes out. She served pizza, cupcakes, and used gloves to serve! She even sanitized all the kids' hands before eating. I love how they take cleanliness and good hygiene very seriously. Plates, forks, napkins, cups, utensils, tablecloth, hand sanitizer, were all provided.  Food orders do have to be made in advance, but I was able to add juice boxes and soda while I was there. Pizza came delivered close to the time it was time to move into the party room and was kept in the heated bag, so the pizza was actually still hot when it was time to be served.  Wacky Tacky was highly recommended to me for birthday parties, and I can see why. Definitely recommend to host a birthday party here! It's very organized. They even played a personalized happy birthday song to my son which I thought added such a nice thoughtful touch.  My son loves going here for open play as well. It's a great place for him to run and climb that isn't weather dependent since it's indoors.

We paid $500 for an all-inclusive birthday package, but from start to finish, the staff made it clear that they couldn't have cared less. The entire event was chaotic, uncoordinated, and stressful. There was no assigned party host, only a disengaged food server in the party room who offered little to no communication. I constantly had to track down staff to ask what was happening next and where we should be. When I arrived to set up, I was told I'd have 10-15 minutes to prepare the room. Instead, I had to repeatedly check in to see when it would be ready and was finally given just a few minutes to set everything up. During the party, the staff member assigned to our room showed no initiative or enthusiasm. He didn't communicate the schedule, didn't announce when food or activities were starting, and clearly had no idea who the birthday child was. He simply stood in the corner, quietly handing out pizza with no effort to coordinate or engage with the group. After pizza and cupcakes, we still had about 35 minutes left in our scheduled time. I was then told that too many guests had been allowed into Wacky Tacky, so the kids couldn't play afterward as promised. The children were disappointed and confused. I asked to speak with a manager, but no one ever came. I've since called multiple times to follow up, and not once has a manager called and spoken to me. Several of my guests mentioned they had attended other parties here before and had much better experiences, which only made this event more frustrating. Save your money and go elsewhere, Enchanted or literally any other venue would be a better choice. This was a disorganized, poorly managed experience, and we will not be returning

The package included food, snacks, and drinks, and they let us store our ice cream cake in the freezer. This obstacle course is SO MUCH FUN. Everyone was laughing and screaming. We felt like Dude Perfect! When we got tired, there were so many options to recharge: giant chess or cornhole, watching the wakeboarders, or just sunning on the turf beside our cabana. I noticed a lot of the negative reviews are about the water quality. This is not a pool, so the water is not clear; it has vegetation; and stocked fish control for mosquitoes. Since we already read about this online, we were neither surprised nor grossed out. It was a fun day outdoors! The office staff were super warm, hospitable, and accommodating. Even as we added to our food order last minute (because I saw how active the kids were being... they were ravenous!), they flexed with our request. The pizza was hot; the fruit was refreshing. We felt so well cared for! Safety-wise, I'm glad we brought older kids, mostly very strong swimmers, and vigilant parents. The course is large, and there are spots that are invisible from the lifeguards' posts. We had to initiate with the lifeguards a few times because they weren't giving us any information/direction. (eg: Can we start? Where do we start? Any rules we need to know? Are you still on break, or can we go in again?) They did not seem to have a system for the lifejackets. They were sleepy and eager to clock out. This is the first open weekend of the season; I trust they will establish consistent group protocols as the summer goes on. We had a great time and mostly guarded our own kids. We are eager to return again someday soon! THANK YOU for such a memorable, creative, raucous birthday party in the sun!

Long story short, our plan changed when my son got triggered and dysregulated when he saw my daughter and I put life vests on as required for the boat ride. He started to stim and have vocal outbursts. While I was trying to calm my son down, the staff present was very patient, kind, understanding, and accepting of my son's autism/differences. They told me that they would wait for as long as it took if time was what my son needed. They were also very accommodating when my son refused the idea of going on a paddle boat and offered Kids Kove playground as an option if interested. The staff at Quarry Park were AMAZING!!! I had a lot of fun running around everywhere, slipping around, and falling. Some of the steps underwater to climb up to the platform are very low so it made it very hard for short people such as myself to climb up. I had to get help lifted up or pulled up by friends. I liked the hamster wheels, it was fun to experience. The slides were fun but be careful when you splash into the water. We got a lot of water stuck in my ears and our noses hurt a bit. I didn't take the wakeboarding course, but it looked really fun! Perhaps I will try next summer. The shore is also quite small. I noticed the VIP section was on the other side, which doesn't make sense because they have to walk so far just to get food/drinks. Bring water shoes if you don't want wet grippy socks. In my opinion, the grip wasn't that great and I didn't realize the socks would be actual sock material. I thought it would be something more fitting for the water. The water wasn't the best though. It was very blue, but obviously was due to coloring/dye added to the water. You could see the shore being stained blue due to the water. There were some warm spots throughout the water area and it wasn't due to other people -- I had felt warm waters even in empty areas of water with no people around. I am not sure if it was due to maybe machines underneath pumping up the floating platforms. Sometimes you could see little fish flying up out of the water, which I thought was really cool to see. It's not frequent you see this though so there is no worry about the wildlife underneath. However, I am concerned at their state of life being in such polluted and colored water. They will probably all die off eventually. I went towards the very end of summer so there were a few issues I came across. Underneath the platforms, there is a lot of biofilm and algae buildup. It is quite disgusting to see and even worse when you accidentally touch it. I did see some chunks of bio film on the platforms that some people threw on because they probably accidentally got it on themselves. I hope that they clean underneath the platforms more frequently in the summer so that it isn't an issue. It's really quite nasty and makes the park seem unclean. I think there can definitely be improvements to be made, but overall, Wake Island is a fun water obstacle course. I am a bit hesitant to go again because my skin didn't love the water. I sensed it even on the first dip. It didn't feel like fresh water or very refreshing and satisfying to be in. There must be too much harsh chemicals because my skin did break out a bit from being in the water. I am repulsed by all the biofilm algae buildup. If I go again, I would try going again in the beginning of summer and hopefully it is clean without issues. For their food/drinks: Their Thai tea was actually really good. It wasn't too sweet and it tasted pretty authentic. I was impressed and thought it wouldn't be that good. Their alcoholic drinks are a good price! It is a good incentive for parents who don't participate in play and have to watch their kids to still have a good time. I only got their chicken tenders with fries. I think it only came with 3 pieces. The price was okay. I recommend bringing your own umbrellas and chairs! You can also bring tables or tents to make a nice set up if you have a big party. Also it can be a little bit hard to find this place so drive slow, as it is in the middle of fields and rough roads. It could use a few more signs directing us where to go. Parking lot looks a bit small so get there early if you go in the peak of summer.

Although the Sky Ride was closed, the kids still had fun jumping and flipping on the Apex trampoline and running through the Warrior course. It was very packed and busy. I felt that this visit wasn't as great at my last; place seemed like it needs a deep clean and better ventilation because of the smell of sweat and chaos. I ordered nachos at the cafe, the nacho cheese sauce they used this time wasn't good so I wouldn't recommend ordering these again. Way too oily and slightly bitter. Even with attractions closed and food not what I expected, we still enjoyed ourselves and will come back when the "Tube Playground" is finally installed. We will skip the food at the cafe and just get refreshments. Hopefully our next visit will be great like previous visits!

I am beyond disgusted with my experience at Urban Air Adventure Park Sacramento…read more My 7 year old son went there to have fun, and instead left scared for his safety. A group of teenage boys approached him, called him "little N" multiple times, and tried to lure him by saying they had candy and telling him to come to them. Let that sink in. A child was racially harassed and made to feel like he was about to be kidnapped inside a place that is supposed to be safe for kids. He ran and told his godmother, who immediately reported it to management. And what did they do? Nothing meaningful. The teens were not removed. They were allowed to stay and continue occupying the same space as the children they just targeted. That is unacceptable. This is bigger than "kids being kids." This is racism and dangerous behavior being ignored. When a business allows that kind of environment to continue, they are part of the problem. My son is biracial but does not appear to be, and he was targeted without hesitation. No child should have to experience that kind of fear just to play. Urban Air failed to protect him. They failed to act. And they failed to create a safe environment. If you are a parent, especially a parent of Black children, you need to seriously consider whether this is a place where your child will actually be safe. Do better.

For $75 (a BARGAIN) they ran the train as our own private railroad for 4 hours. There are also some historical buildings (and a few re-creations) and old, retired, "real" trains (steam engine and a caboose) on the fairgrounds near the railroad--so there's some other cool stuff to see. (Note that you can't go in to any of these buildings outside of the annual Glenn County Fair in May.) There are several grassy areas and some picnic tables that served as lunch spots for our guests. PLUS there are restrooms near the train "depot" area--near the old train depot and 1-room school building. (The restrooms are old and small, but they were very clean and nicely maintained.) it looks like the railroad has had a few web pages over the years, but there hasn't been much updated lately and some are no longer up and running. However, as of the date of this review, you can find a little more information online at the following: http://onprailroad.tripod.com/ https://roadtrippers.com/us/orland-ca/points-of-interest/orland-newville-pacific-railroad?lat=40.80972&lng=-96.67528&z=5 A few minor considerations: The (short) tunnel was a little frightening for one or two of the very young (3 year old?) children. However, it's short enough that you can simply hug them to you for the 15-20 seconds required for this. Orland can be very hot in the middle of the summer, so a scheduled event could be canceled due to extreme heat conditions. (This would be a big disappointment, but nobody would have much fun if it's that hot.) You'll need to do some paperwork to get approval from the Glenn County Fairgrounds and the Orland Police, plus you'll need liability insurance (which you may have to purchase for the event), but it was all worth it. There are no restrooms at the usual picnic area (near the intersection of Papst & Yolo streets); the restrooms are about 100 yards away (near the old school and depot). This really isn't inconvenient, unless you have young children who need to go "right now!", and then that 2-minute walk could be a little too long.

Animals & Nature: Beyond the slides and climbing, the petting zoo and the peaceful Japanese pond (Urashima Taro) provided a great change of pace for the kids. Interactive Learning: The children's theatre is a gem. They have dedicated storytime and puppet shows that kept the toddlers completely engaged. Why It's a Must-Visit What makes this place even more amazing is that it's a non-profit. Knowing that your $10 admission (an absolute steal for the quality of the park!) goes back into maintaining such a creative space for the community makes the experience even better. Parking can get a bit difficult, since it's also close to the Zoo and Funderland. There are areas to slide, climb, and play. Also, there are animals (goats, rabbits, chickens/rooster, ox, mini horse, pigs) inside. The gift shop mostly contains generic items that don't say Fairytale Town, which don't make for the best of souvenirs. I'd say it's geared more for the younger children...older kids would probably benefit more from visiting the other two nearby attractions.
