I've ordered multiple times from here now. This isn't covering any specific order or day. I'm finally getting around to sharing a few items from the menu I've had now. I ventured out from my usual order(s) and got this Sha Cha Beef Noodle soup to see if it's any good and it's worth it! I think I've now had it at least 3 times...after all, I'm not always in the mood for soup. The bowl is large and you're going to get a lot of noodles and broth. The sauce it comes with I'd best describe as a Chinese BBQ sauce which is what makes it great. It almost sounds like it shouldn't work, but it does. Figured I'd share photos of it in case you're on the fence with it. The Shrimp chow mei fun (normal size not the large shrimp version) and the chicken chow mei fun are also solid go-to's of mine if you want to eat on the lighter side even though they're all generous portions. Since I don't have a photo of it, The chicken isn't "breaded & fried" for the chicken version. We were new to this dish when we first got it...feels like a stir fry cooked dish vs fried. It's a welcome respite. The honey chicken is solid. It's better hot and fresh vs when it's cooled down and thickened up so you might want to eat it fast or split it up with someone. It's not spicy either...and I think I got it with steamed white rice. Hope that helps!

Upon arrival, ambiance is laid back and in a great location that shared a giant parking lot with many other businesses (close to Target). I have been wanting to try this place for years but Chik-fil-a always get to me. Service is as good as it can get for pick up order. The food is just mediocre. I understand the pricing, especially in this area so not much complaint except... I wish the food was better to make it my to go place. Unfortunately, they did not meet expectations of an Americanized Chinese food restaurant. Fried rice that came with general tsao is extremely mushy and underwhelming. General tsao is good but no spice, despite how much dried red peppers they put in it. Beef lo mein is salty and has that Mama instant noodle flavor - not great and not what I wanted in a normal Americanized Chinese beef lo mein. For about $27, I would skip this place and try elsewhere unless I just get general tsao with no rice and make my own rice at home. There are so many great restaurants and to-go restaurants in this area so unless you don't drive and this restaurant is in walking distance to your house, I would skip and spend your money elsewhere even if you're craving Americanized Chinese food like myself.

*Disappointed After High Hopes* I came in excited after reading the reviews and ended up ordering more than usual. Unfortunately, I left disappointed. The sesame chicken was tough and chewy with no crunch or breading. It was completely soaked in sauce, more like sesame chicken soup. The added broccoli was rubbery and felt like a filler to reduce the amount of meat in the container. The BBQ buns were extremely dry with barely two small pieces of meat inside. They were not worth the price. I ended up dipping them in the sesame sauce just to make them somewhat enjoyable. Honestly, frozen grocery store buns are better. The shrimp tempura had no crunch at all. It was soft and mushy, and I could not tell where the shrimp ended and the breading began. It was literally just a grease sponge, completely soaked and inedible. Even the service was strange. A literal child, maybe nine years old, brought the food. That alone made the experience feel unprofessional and awkward. The place itself was not clean. Tables were sticky, the floor looked like it hadn't been swept in a while, and the bathroom was very dirty. At this point, I did not even want to try the egg roll or fried rice. I had no expectations left. The one bright spot was the crab puffs. They were crispy, flavorful, and filled with cream cheese. Easily better than most places I have tried. Spending thirty-five dollars and not even wanting to finish half the order is incredibly disappointing. I really hoped this would be my go-to Asian spot in Cinco Ranch, but sadly, I will not be returning.

Nice spot to get a lunch special for Chinese-American food. I got the kung pao chicken and I was impressed. It came out super hot and had the perfect spice to it. The lunch special came with a crab Rangoon and a hot and sour soup which were both great. The food came out fast too. I'd come back.

We love Ms. Berry! I'll start there. We've been frequenting this place since I discovered it on Yelp. Apologizes for my very late review. CW Asian Dishes and Tea Lounge is amazing to say the least. We have found such comfort and delight in the food, the drinks, and the service! The location is perfect and everything is always piping hot and fresh. Since I only eat seafood, I noticed that there was a honey chicken dish but not shrimp so I requested the same thing for a shrimp order and Ms. Berry made it happen right away! Very grateful for this. I have been here for lunch and dinner and every visit is exceptional. Crab puffs, honey sesame shrimp, vegetable rolls, sweet & sour chicken (for mama), fried rice, shrimp fried rice, mojitos- everything is delicious! If you order enough mojitos or other drinks you get a stamp card and on the 10th stamp, I believe you get a free drink. Check them out and definitely say hi to Ms. Berry.

absoulety great. as soon as i walked in the building i was greeted by worker named dallan. The food. the food took me back to my days in china.. like i was right at home.. ever since i was a child i fell in love with my foods culture... back to yangzhou i went.. abandoned by my own mother in the villages. cw asian cafe i reminisced those days i suffered thus, bringing me closure and goodness. So glad I found this place! Their lunch special is an amazing deal. It's a very large portion also. The orange chicken is delicious as they use only white meat. The sea salt foam matcha is a very very good drink. The staff is just so extremely friendly. I love this place!

Amazing Singapore curry noodles with fresh vegetables cooked to perfection. The sweet and sour chicken my daughter had was crispy on the outside and fresh and tender on the inside. The iced coffee was spot on and the strawberry smoothie was delicious. We will be back with the rest of the family for sure. YUMMY! The service was excellent and the people friendly. read more

Had dinner delivered and it was fast, inexpensive and really delicious. My wife had the Singapore noodles and and egg roll. I ordered the orange chicken combo with fried rice, egg drop soup and an egg roll. My wife loved the Singapore noodles which she said was cooked just right. The egg rolls were crispy of good. My orange chicken was the best I've had. Good quality chunks of chicken with an excellent flavor. Likewise, the fried rice was good. The only dish that was just so so was the egg drop soup. It was actually a little bland and mundane. But in the end we will definitely be ordering from there again. Good find. read more

My mom & I decided to venture out & try somewhere new for dinner yesterday & after looking over the pictures posted & all the positive reviews, we chose here--& they did not disappoint!! :) When we called in our order for a quick pick-up, I had some questions about some menu items & the lady that answered was very friendly & beyond helpful!! My mom went with the General Tso's Chicken + Steamed Rice & she loved every bite!! I chose their Spicy Mayo Chicken + Rice Noodles off their Snack Menu + their Taro Smoothie!! Nomm nom nom! :D I was actually very impressed how our order was not only ready once we arrived, but they already had everything neatly packed up with all the sauces, fortune cookies, condiments, etc.!! Definitely great customer service! On our way back home, it literally took all my willpower to not rip open the bag & start digging in--It all smelled & looked soo good!! Overall, we had a great experience here & I can't wait until our next visit to try the other menu items they have to offer!! read more

A small shop located at the left side of Target Morton Ranch. The cashier helped us pick out our drinks and explained their menu very proficiently. We discovered this restaurant just a couple of days ago and we loved it so much we decided to stop by again. It has become one of our favorites. Customer service is exceptional, very friendly and patient in answering and explaining about their food and drinks. They do take a little with their drinks but they are made with real fruit, brew tea/coffee on the spot. Very busy with called in orders so it would be the smart thing to do if not wanting to wait. I do not mind waiting as we sometimes need to just take a break and enjoy. read more

Wow! I went there today after going to the Kids Urgent care next door. I ordered the Hunan beef and the Chicken and broccoli lunch special. They were amazing. The rice was soft and fluffy, not hard at all like other places. The Hunan beef had a good variety of vegetables. It had mushrooms, carrots, zucchini, baby corn, and chestnuts. The Chicken broccoli was really yummy as well. This is my new favorite place. read more

This place was OKAY for me. Because me and my friend ordered a taro milk tea and the drink it's self was nasty and will Definitely not recommend. I've been to a lot of boba places before and I always get taro and it's amazing. But at CW it's nasty. Also when I went there to try to return my drink the cashier decided to get a attitude with us and said no refunds. But the boba pearls were amazing! But the drink itself was nasty. The meal came with chicken (your choice of flavor), steamed rice, soup (wonton or egg drop), and another side of either a crab puff or a spring roll. The portions are very large for a total of $8. The chicken was nicely seasoned and packed with flavor that wasn't overpowering. Also, the service was very sweet and friendly. Wish there were more locations! read more

It's a small place but very cute. There was one lady at the cash register and she was very kind and sweet. The portions are huge for the price. $8-$9 for your entree then you get wonton chips and a soup side and another side. Not only was the portion big but it was good too. This place is one of the best boba and food locations you could come across. All of their employees are wonderful and extremely friendly to the point where it makes it feel like a family. I have been going to this place since I was a freshman and I am now a Junior. Even in the 3 years of regularly coming, it still feels like I'm exploring their menu and finding amazing new foods. If you're ever just craving for a nice study spot/ chilling area, definitely check this place out! 10/5 stars if I could! read more

My go to place when I want great Chinese food and customer service. Portions are great for what you pay for. Try their Spicy General Tso's or Sesame Chicken. Their snack menu is great too! Family-owned and the customer service is always above exceptional. Great tasting food, reasonable pricing and great customer service. Happy I found this place! read more

This place was okay at best. I got the honey green tea with crystal boba. It was really sugary and had lots of foaming at the top, when I tasted it it tasted like a sugary soap bar. I personally wouldn't be coming back here. read more

First time here and it was a delight! The owners were so sweet, helpful and patient. Their recommendations were scrumptious. Mango mojitos were heavenly, but my new go to bev is the sea salt matcha green tea. Owner asked me to drink it from the lid as opposed to a straw and oh my goodness! The sweet cream froth was divine. We ordered lunch specials on a weekend, which was a real treat. Comes with soup, wontons and egg roll. The place had a constant flow of traffic and a ton of takeout so obviously an established hot spot! read more

She is a fascinating painter who works in acrylics, oil, and watercolour. Her Tea Room is chock full of wonderful art to explore. Furthermore, Sobella's an ITMA Certified Tea Sommelier. She took the time to let us experience the scintillating aromas of various tea blends. Then, my daughter and I indulged in a delicious hot pot of special English tea, accompanied by delicious cucumber and caprese sandwiches, topped off with gluten-free chocolate chip cookies (biscuits to those who know). We reserved an afternoon tea session here. Sobella Loreto, the Arteastic owner, was such a great…read morehost. She described her background, her passion for tea and art, and her interior space. All the paintings along the walls are Sobella's work. I would describe her space as cozy, relaxed, and inviting with Parisian music playing in the background. Sobella had us try out her Sri Lankan tea, which I would say was quite pleasant on its own and reminded me of Ceylon tea; it also paired well with cream and sugar. Then, she came out with our afternoon tea treats, which came in three tiers: savory sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, and lemon cake with macarons. For the most part, all of the food was flavorful; the only constructive feedback I did have was that the bread, scones, and cake were a bit dry. Thankfully, the sandwich fillings, clotted cream and jam, cooked apple pieces, and cooked lemon peels added that much needed moisture. For each tier of treats, I do have specific commentary on them: Bottom tier: All of the sandwiches were flavorful. The first sandwich was a smoked salmon sandwich, which had a thin layer of cream cheese, smoked salmon, and arugula. Within the cream cheese itself were specks of freshly chopped dill throughout. The overall sandwich was fantastic. Next, we had a cucumber sandwich, which also had that dill infused cream cheese with crisp thinly sliced cucumbers. It was so refreshing. The third sandwich was a chicken salad sandwich, which had freshly diced apples and celery that added such a great crunch. The apples did add a bit of sweetness, but it wasn't overpowering. This too was a refreshing sandwich. Middle tier: The scones were imbedded with warm fall spices and small cooked apple pieces. Delicious! Now, we did have to add their fresh clotted cream and fragrant strawberry jam to add more moisture to the scone. Top tier: The lemon cake was brimming with lemon flavor and was studded with cooked lemon peel bits. It was a bit dry, though. Nothing that a sip of their tea won't fix. Their pistachio macaron was kind of dense and not as airy as I'm used to; but, the pistachio cream and pistachio pieces throughout more than made up for this. Yummy! In summary, this spot was a wonderful place for afternoon tea. The price was very reasonable as well at $40 per person. We look forward to coming here again with friends. Sobella also holds painting classes, so there's something else to do here. Come and check out this spot if you're looking for a relaxing afternoon tea spot.

Let me tell you how busy this area was on a beautiful Sunday before lunar New Year. There wasn't a single parking space to be had in three different lots. There was traffic everywhere in people. Do not drive well when they're looking for a parking spot. People just stopped in the middle of the parking lot and didn't move. Waiting for someone to walk out of a building. Super annoying. Luckily, Ding Tea is located behind lot of the larger restaurants and the golf course and other super busy areas. There was a parking spot waiting for me out front and it was easy to get in and out. We ended up getting a tea to share, and two to go with us to the party. We also got an order of the popcorn chicken. I wish they would have it a little bit spicier on its own, without having to dip it into things. A little seasoning goes a long way! The staff were also super nowledgeable about the menu, courteous, and efficient. Will definitely be back, but not on lunar new year. So busy!!

Small, cozy spot just a few doors from Target. Very nice spot for a quick lunch. I personally got the Kung Pao chicken lunch special and it was very, very good! The manager there (unfortunately did not get her name) was very attentive and genuinely wanted to make sure I had a good, positive experience. They have a very good selection of dishes and drinks for being a smaller location, so this was a very pleasant find. I highly recommend stopping in for a bite! read more

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Food was definitely the star. Simple layout, friendly staff (new owner), and incredibly fresh food. All ingredients were fresh and made to order. Owner told us new menu coming August 8. We will definitely be back. New favorite in Katy. read more
