Always very crowded around the pharmacy part. Certainly not enough people behind the counter for the volume of business they are doing. Long lines and long wait times. When possible I try to avoid this particular CVS for prescriptions. I assume it is the stress of heavy work loads that makes the people in the pharmacy part not smile and grouchy. I feel they don't listen when I ask questions and often I have to ask more than twice to get answers. Even then they act like I should not be asking. This is the reason for 2 stars on this review. In contrast the other part of the store is great! The service in the rest of the store is friendly and helpful. It is the rest of the store that keeps me coming back. Worst service you can get, when we called the person who answered the phone said they did not have the medicine and left a message on my phone. No message and since they did have the medicine I would need to call around to see what other CVS's might have it in stock. Staff all need training (very badly) on how to provide fast, efficient service. Horribly long wait times. Been this way for years. Unless you are unemployed that is... then you can go in the middle of the day when nobody is there. But staffing during peak times is far inadequate. Also, there is zero consideration for training the employees on what service means - perhaps they need to go across the street to McDonald's and cross-train on SPEED and service. This is a business transaction, and if you need pharmaceutical advice then GO TO THE RIGHT COUNTER SECTION and WAIT instead of making everyone ELSE wait while you take up the clerk and pharmacist's time in the PICK UP line. Speaking of training... forget about the drive-thru. It's full service, just like at the counter. That means that any fool can take up as much time as they want in the drive-thru. The counter staff SHOULD tell anyone who is not a quick transaction to GO INSIDE. But they're not trained or smart enough to do that perhaps. The store does NOT have any kind of waiting timer (like ANY other drive-thru has) so staff do NOT know (or care) about how many cars they've jacked up in the line or how far into the parking lot it snakes. Bottom line, transfer all your prescriptions across the street at Rite-Aid. Easy parking like at CVS, with little to no wait time... ever. read more

I would agree a year ago or so, problems. Today best in class. They are very busy and that does affect wait times. Can't comment on the drive through as I need my exercise and add steps to my day by walking inside. If I were sick I would probably use the drive through. Great store, well managed and helpful friendly staff. If you have issue there today, likely its your issue. read more

After 20 plus years of the same disregard for the customer service and the rudeness today was the last time for me at the CVS in Yadkinville. I will drive 30 minutes out of my way before I deal with these fools again. When you call in a prescription over an hour ahead of the time and you stop in to pick it up and it isn't ready and then get told to come back in 30 minutes and once you get back have to wait 15 minutes more. I've called the Corporate office multiple times with no response from them. After all of this bullshit today my son when to the doctor and the call him in a prescription at 2:30 PM and at 6:30 it still wasn't ready. Had to drive back to this hell hole again and hour later only to wait 15 minutes for it. I AM DONE WITH THIS CRAP !! read more

I am a dentist of 22 years and never have I had an encounter with a pharmacist like the one I had tonight. She was very disrespectful of me whether I was a doctor, customer or the janitor. I left a message for a prescription on the prescribing doctor's line yesterday and the patient was told it was never called in. We told the patient that we would call it in again and I decided to do it myself so I could inform the pharmacy staff of the problem. The pharmacy tech was very nice and polite and sincerely apologized for the mishap. I waited on hold for over 15 minutes for the pharmacist. The tech came on three different times apologizing for my wait. When the pharmacist came on the line, I told her of my wait and she indignantly told me that she could not talk to two people at one time. I understood this fact. I tried to tell her of the problem and she promptly told me "she didn't have to listen to me!" I , in return told her she was going to listen to me, to which she kept talking over me wanting the patient's name. I wanted her to know about the problem so that she could rectify the situation for the next doctor and customer. She was very unprofessional and rude. I am assuming if she'll be rude to the prescribing doctor, she would definitely be rude to the customers. I decided to call back to find out her name and was told that the pharmacists on duty were Jess and Anita. For your own good and to save you from wasting time DO NOT use this CVS Pharmacy. Today is the last time for me. I had to go over there 3 times on different days to get all of my prescriptions filled and still do not have what I needed. So a FOURTH trip will be needed. Long lines at register and not filling prescriptions correctly and fully was my major issues, along with employees being indifferent about their mistakes. We need a Walgreens in Yadkinville. read more
