The store was not crowded and the fall merchandise was featured in the front of the store. They had several sales in place and the summer clearance rack was an additional 50% off. The selection was limited, but I was able to find a couple cute things. The try on rooms are nice with a little bench. The clerk put my name on the door. The clerks are friendly and helpful. The checkout clerk offered to check other stores for a shirt I wanted in a smaller size. I bought a couple things. I think if you join their rewards program, you get extra benefits, but I didn't want anymore stuff in my email. It's hard to get nearby parking unless you get there early.

The clothes seem targeted towards more upscale/professional wear and for women who have careers, not teens. They do have their own sizing which is just another challenge to guys who like buying clothes as gifts for their wives/partners. Seriously, I think women's clothing stores come up with all these different categories and sizes just so that women can escape for some alone time without their spouses! ;) Anyway, my wife was able to pick up what sizes translate to her and found several items. She also likes that they have a nice accessory area to help complete the look. A decent store for women. From what I can tell, each shop gets mostly different items based upon their sales hierarchy. Some of the food items are questionable. Check the expiration dates and how they are packaged before you purchase food. Other than that, I don't think I've purchased anything yet that I had to throw away. Activities, kitchen items, decoration, party supplies, and little gadgets I still own worked perfectly after purchase. The only sections I wish had more options were the party supplies and the craft section. Party supplies there are plenty but they don't have every item for every color. As far as crafts and activities, most of them aren't taken care of before they put them on the shelves. Employees are nice and funny here too.

I was taught at all three clothing department that even if it's close to closing time, you cannot tell customers they can't come in or rush them out. We can close the gate so no other customers come in, but if we still have customers in the store at that moment, we still help them. I'm still in shocked at the customer service I received on Monday, May 25th at The Cosmetic Store at the Edinburg Premium Outlet. I walked into the store around 8:48pm. (Yes, I'm fully aware that they close at 9pm but I also knew exactly what I needed in the store. Therefore, my visit to this store would've been a quick visit/purchase. I'm also certain they have security cameras so if my timing is incorrect, their security cameras can be proof) Immediately upon entering into the store, employee #1 (whom isn't pictured) huffed and said, "Ma'am we close in 5 minutes." (Keep in mind it's 8:48ish and No, she didn't even say hi or greet me when I walked in the store.) I looked at my watch and said, "Ok. I have time I just need to grab a mac product real quick." She just looked at me, rolled her eyes, and didn't even reply or say ok, but that's fine. Not even two minute later, employee #2 (whom is pictured) comes out from the back and says, "um ma'am we close in 5 minutes!" Rudely. This is wrong of me but I did take a deep breath, put the Mac Pro long foundation down, looked at her and said, "are you guys trying to kick me out? I heard her the first time when she said the store closes in five minutes." Lady in the video: "No, I'm not kicking you out but we close in five minutes and we get customers who shop after 9pm and keep us here past 9pm. So you need just hurry up and be out in 5 minutes" Me: "Wow, I'm baffled. As a customer you are making me feel as if I can't even shop here and I feel as if you're kicking me out." Lady in the video: "If I was kicking you out I wouldn't said get out! I just said for you to hurry up and be out in 5 minutes because we close in 5 minutes!" Me: "gosh, your alls customer service is horrible. Absolutely horrible! Not just horrible but rude. I just feel you're trying to kick me out so forget it." Lady in the video: "Im not kicking you out but you need to hurry up, you have 5 minutes." (Video provided.) Me: "Ok, but that was rude though. Ok. Very rude. And she was rude too. Forget it. Don't worry about it." While I was saying that, she proceeds to raise her voice to me, "to tell you that you had five minutes?" (Obviously She doesn't think by rudely telling me to hurry up and that I had five minutes was an issue.) I wish I was smarter and thought quicker so that I could record the whole conversation. But again, I'm sure they have video surveillances so the companies camera can vouch for our entire conversation. All in all, yes maybe I should've turned around and walked out when employee #1 told me I had 5 minutes. (Indicating for me to either 1.) hurry up or 2.) get our. But if you're in the retail field, I don't think this is considered good customer service. Anyhow, so if you happen to ever shop at this store, beware of this lady. Maybe bring her a whopper and a strawberry milk shake, it might just make her day slightly better. :) jk

Well my hair was so bad that it hardly worked, in fact it turned almost lime green and yucky yellow. Was the worst!!! Went back over the weekend after calling Brandy(I believe) and she talked to me calmly and reassured me that they will help me figure this out. After standing in the store almost 15 minutes draining these ladies of information we decided on some stuff. Well I purchased more product and exchanged some of the others, came home in utter fear it would not work and sure enough the ladies were right and I have a healthy rich brown color and I LOVE it. As others have mentioned, there are better deals/selection to be found for groceries, but I appreciate the convenience of having most things I need in one place and don't mind paying a little more when I factor in Target's corporate policies/higher starting pay for employees vs similar stores and services like free curbside pickup for online orders. I have used curbside services several times this year at various stores and I feel like Target has a really smooth and easy process thanks to the app, which also helps you save with digital coupons and special offers. I do wish the selection available for online pickup was more extensive. I have had some odd experiences, like not being able to order pickup for a specific size of an item but being able to get the same item for pickup in a larger size. Recently I needed cornstarch and discovered that two options were available for pickup and others weren't. It seems like they have been increasing offerings over time, so I anticipate this changing. Self checkouts are efficient (no glitchy scanning here) and provide a contact free experience if you desire. Employees are protected with a plexiglass shield and every time I walk in someone is cleaning the carts and enforcing the current mask policy. Masks and sanitizer are available if you forget. I've never had to wait in line to check out for more than a few minutes at this location. There is a Starbucks in this store. Sometimes the line there can get a little long but the service is great! I also really appreciate the drop off recycling for plastic bags and other items, located near the customer service desk.

But the return policy is only for in-store credit and only for 3 months - even if you have the tags on, even if you have the receipt - even if you just bought it a day ago. I really just wanted to return it and get my money back and come back. No such luck.
