I was in and out in about five minutes, because I hate shopping for makeup and I just grabbed what I needed and paid. They don't have Bobbi Brown products here! What a shame. I'm not sure if they ever have or they just don't now. I think I found an alternative for Bobbi's creme eyeshadow stick with a NARS version, so cross your fingers for me. Sephora is located in the same shopping center as Target and lots of other stores, so it's a convenient stop for running errands.

Hey good people. UPDATE: After I posted this raving…read morereview. I didn't realize that the salesperson used his own pocket of natural bristle brush instead of the DISPOSABLE brushes!! With him doing that IMPROPER procedure! I've had an eye infection for about three weeks! A stye on my eye from BACTERIA! I've had to go to the optometrist to get an antibiotic and ointment cream! Ugh !! Make sure when you try facial products they grab the disposable sponge & brush!! Stay safe. It's a beautiful day to be beautiful. Stopped into Sephora at Glendale for eye concealer! I am terrible at this kinda stuff. All I know is I usually wear Bobby Brown makeup and Saks closed. The sales person lead me to Mars..? No thanks I want "Fenty" ha-ha. So Michael was the skin specialist and was very helpful and gently kind. Let's try this. So here we go. Another note this location is great, because I usually shop Sephora inside of Kohl's. I love a freestanding location makes it more convenient. Plus, it's my birthday month there is always a free gift!!

They have a lot of weave selection but I couldn't find anything similar to my hair color so I had to chose a different color. For the braiding gel, I couldn't find the exact one I needed so I went with an alternative and thankfully it worked out well. Pricing here is ok, the weave wasn't too bad and the gel is comparable to other beauty store pricing. I didn't notice man y workers, the man that rang up our order was friendly.

Luckily,…read morethere was someone there, Wendy, to guide me to the right products or I might've been lost; plus it felt like I was shopping with a friend rather than a worker. I bought extra stuff and have gone back simply because of the service I received. I like their prices and they have a wide array of beauty supplies, from lases and polish to the professional straighteners and coloring brands. To be honest, I dropped in to show her my color today and get some tips. No pressure to purchase just pointed me to some products and helped answer my questions. So, it's 5 stars from me and they've won me as a loyal repeat customer.

King's Beauty is a beauty supply chain in Indy and this location is not different from the other stores I have visited. It is a medium sized store, offering the common needs for urban beauty. They have a limited supply of a hair and wigs as well as the mainstream ethic beauty supplies. I needed some braiding hair, which was priced reasonable. I was able to find what I was looking for. There was only employee in the store and he was busy with another person, so I can't get into how helpful he was. But he was nice in completing my transaction. I will say the store is located in a very underdeveloped complex. There's not much more to say other than if you live on the Southside and can't find an ethic beauty product at Target, Walmart or Sally's, this may be a good spot to make instead of making a trip into the inner city.

So we go to her usual beauty supply store and as usual I'm unpleased, but she likes the spot so I oblige her. While we're shopping we find a couple of wigs she likes and I ask an employee if she can try them on and they say no. Now, I don't know if you know a thing about wigs, but it's a try-on situation. Especially when there are no returns or exchanges. In that moment I think of a place I'd heard about on social media that also happens to be black owned. I mention it to grandma she's excited about it so we go, but mind you I'm still hungry lol. We get to Washington Square Mall and walk across the whole thing, we didn't realize it was near the Target (there's another closer to where we parked but it's a different beauty supply from House of Beauty Miss Cutie). We didn't mind the walk though we both needed it. When we get inside we were immediately greeted...check. I immediately spotted a couple of things grandma would like...check. I asked could she try them on, and Miss Cutie said yes and explained her try-on policy...checkmate. We were thoroughly taken care of, the entire process. I love how she looked out and cared for my grandma. She was kind and funny. She helped grandma get in and out of her different wigs. It really felt like we were chilling and playing dress up. And the hair was really great quality and a great price. There was a lot of cute stuff in there, I even snagged a Fanny pack that I can't wait to wear. I enjoyed myself so much I forgot I was hungry. My grandma was so happy. When we were walking to the car she thanked me for bringing her there. And talked about how nice the lady was. And guess what...she finally asked me what we were going to eat because now she was hungry. So we went to (my favorite spot) Burgeezy and she showed off her new hair! This was our first of many times. And Miss Cutie mentioned that they're coming up on their 6th year in business. Congratulations to them!!! Much deserved. lol

I'd popped in for some Marley hair for twists but perused every aisle. I want to look like Beyoncé for a day so I was eyeballing the wigs. The synthetic wigs look so thin and sad. I wanted to see the human hair wigs but they are in a locked area and you need supervision to even lay eyes on them. I was informed that area closes at 6. (The store closes at 7, I think. It was 6:05.) Rules. I can dig it. No blonde tresses for me! The lady working was super nice though. She didn't even appear to be watching me (unnecessarily) to make sure I didn't steal anything. Thanks, ma'am. I'm no thief. I would've bought a wig though, ps. Overall I like this place and will return.

Sam's has never seem to wow me with their work. When it comes to convenience, I love where the location is. It would get a 5 star for that alone. The facility is always clean and I never worry about my safety as far as getting as infection or anything like that. Unlike some other places. I'm originally from the East Coast and when we get our nails done, we like pizazz. I enjoy fun and eclectic styles and patterns. And it seems like here in the Midwest, that's not something people look for regularly. So when I saw Sam's advertising on social media and even with their signage, I thought this void would finally be filled. They displayed fun designs and creative artwork, but I find that 1) not everyone can complete the creative nail art I look for. 2) they literally CHARGE for ev-ver-ry thing! If you want nails files shaped to anything but square, +$5-10. If you want French +5-10. I know it's common, but $10 is a bit much (IMO). 3)they just don't perform to my level of expectation. But check them out and let me know what you think.
