New people are welcoming, friendly, let you know they will be with you shortly if they are busy and I always get my prescriptions quickly. The pharmacist, Austin, and owner, Gib are great people. Austin has gone out of his way to get my prescriptions in a more than timely manner and been very helpful. Give them another try! You won't be sorry.

I picked up some prescriptions, and that was just fine. While I was there, I asked if I could get a flu shot. I was told I could. The pharmacist was an older woman, and it took her about 20 minutes to complete the paperwork. Once that was done, we went into a back room. The pharmacist had the syringe in her hand, had removed the needle cap, and was coming towards me. She had not used the alcohol swab. I told her to stop and asked about the swab. She said that it was behind her on the counter. And I said, Yes, but you are coming at me with the syringe, and you haven't used the swab yet. OK, so she used the swab. When she gave me the injection, I flinched a little. She pulled the needle out of my arm, had not given me the injection, and it hurt like the dickens. She asked if I wanted to try again; I said no. I asked her to void the paperwork and left. My arm hurt for 3 days. Not using the alcohol swab is a big concern, as I have immunity concerns. If I had developed an infection following the injection, the result could have been serious. I met one of the owners once, several years ago, and wanted to discuss this with him. I wanted to suggest that maybe the pharmacist should not be giving vaccines. I left 2 messages (with live people), 1 voicemail, and 1 message via the contact form on their website over a few weeks. I was never contacted. I'm disappointed because I like this business. But clearly, they can't meet my needs looking ahead. One star for my experience and the lack of follow-up.

I didn't ask, but she complained about how overwhelmed she was and how short staffed they were and muttered under her breath as well. I have just had skin cancer surgery, I need my Dr prescribed antibiotics and had a taxi waiting for me in the parking lot, as I have no car. I very calmly asked if she thought it might be 10 minutes or longer, because I couldn't afford to leave the meter running in the taxi. She snapped back with extreme attitude and said the prescription would be ready in the next three hours; can't you see that I have several other orders waiting here that I'm working on? I will definitely be switching my preferred pharmacy from that location immediately.

Whether our conversation is about my purchase, the weather, Gary politics, the Bulls, or my hair and accessories, it's always enjoyable. She also loves suggestions for new products and follows through each time. Even though Fagen doesn't always have what I need and isn't the most well-kept drugstore around, I'm still a faithful customer. Next time I stop in, I'll be sure to find out the cashier's name. Manager for the drivers who constantly makes it hard for people to take their vacation time…read more Claiming that there needs to be 30 days notice. Considering there is no sick leave for the drivers if something comes up, how is someone supposed to determine that 30 days in advance. This man picks fights with people and when they stick up for themselves he retaliates against them. Many of these workers don't speak up because they are afraid of being fired for doing so. A few have been told in the past to quit complaining when they did bring up an issue. This man is constantly brown nosing management and then since he's the only one they listen to these workers don't have a chance of being believed. This is literally one of the worst working environments I have heard of in all my years. I personally have worked some really cruddy jobs, but this one takes the cake. This is one of the reasons they have huge turn over, because no one can stand the BS for long.
