The next morning after a few phone calls back and forth and my sending a photo of the problem chair and hand control, they told me Elliott was on the way with a new hand control. He arrived, installed a new hand control and was gone in less than 20 minutes. All of this occurred in way less than 24 hours from my first contact. Actually, it was probably less than three hours from our first phone conversation to completion. Everyone was pleasant, professional, courteous, and determined to solve my problem. Upon arrival, I was told they didn't have the prescription, so my doctor had to call again. The tech checked the voicemail and was able to push my order through. Waited an hour from start to finish. The person that was helping me check out wasn't friendly either, which just added to my negative experience. Been told sub par service was common among CVS, but this was my first time experiencing so many technical issues just for a pick up.

I started in the prescription pickup line as the third car. It was a long time getting to first position -I was in line for over 1/2 hour and at least 15 minutes in the first position before getting any communication. Over fifteen minutes, I rang the bell twice, knocked once, and finally opened the window and said hello! That brought two people who seemed to not believe anyone could possibly be waiting in the car line. And I was scolded for opening the window, but also told that the bell was not working. Please. CVS management, close the car lane if you cannot provide service. All told, I waited 45 minutes. And even though I informed the worker and pharmacist that there were three cars behind me, they immediately shut the window and walked away. I can't imagine how long the others had to wait. A young lady was also waiting on a line of customers at the front, so it seems they were adequately staffed today.

I thought I was in a big city while visiting this great local store/pharmacy!!…read more While visiting Sylvania Georgia, I suggested we stop into Ross Drug because it looked much larger than a pharmacy. I could tell it offered more. But I certainly did not expect to find the most incredible array of gifts, decor, novelties, penny candy, toys, men and women spa specialties and cocktail/bar items. There is even a gift wrap area and a UPS shipping counter. As I wandered around we started talking to this handsome man in scrubs. At first I thought he was a customer but learned he was the Pharmacist and Owner of this business. He was very personable and chatted about vision for his store. In my mind, I pictured a Hallmark movie where this young Pharmacist relocated to this small town and a happy story ensues. The actual pharmacy counter was very busy. It looked to be running very smoothly, given the fast moving crowd. The locals were all very friendly as I wandered around. I am seriously impressed with the very cosmopolitan feel to this store on Main Street in this tiny town.
