For the last couple of days i have been getting alerts that my pain med has been ordered on Monday, I go to pick it up today - (pharmacist)sorry we dont have any more of that med. (ME)When will you get it in? (pharmacist)we have all that we can order of that med for May. (ME) ummmm what does that mean for my RX? (pharmacist)we might get an order in June sometime! Terrible experience. I called to check on my sons RX. I left a message and the pharmacist called back, great right. We talked for a long time about my son's RX as there was confusion about what I thought should have been written and what was sent. Left the call with me agreeing to check with the doctor and call them back so they could order the needed medication. Fast forward a few days and when I called back and spoke with one of the pharmacist (a different one I believe) they first asked for my insurance and I informed them I was going to use Good RX. After being told that they wouldn't take Good TX I told them I needed their cash pay price. The pharmacist then questioned me if I lived in the area as the doctor who wrote the prescription was from Dallas. I told him yes, we did live in the area, but that we had moved here a few years ago and we're continuing to use the doctor. My son used to go to. I was informed by the pharmacist that they would not fill my prescription as this doctor was out of the area. When I expressed that this did not make sense because they were licensed in the state. He just informed me that they would not fill it . By that point, I was frustrated and just told them that I would no longer be using them and would make sure I let people know about Service. I would NOT suggest using this pharmacy. BTW I have filled this prescription at the free standing CVS in Sherman in the past using the same doctor. read more

They take FOREVER to get prescriptions ready.. any time I have to take my child to the urgent care, I dread having to get a prescription if she is sick because our local small town pharmacy closes at 6 pm and this CVS stays open until 10 pm. I would pick my small town pharmacy every single time over this awful CVS pharmacy. I have never had one good experience here. Every time, there's an excuse of why it needs to be another 30 minutes to get your medicine. Most recently, my child needed her prescription as she caught the flu. We left the urgent care at 7:20 and they called it in RIGHT THEN. My daughter (who is miserable and sick sitting in the car) and I have been waiting for ONE HOUR. So then I call to get an update and after 13 minutes on hold, I finally get someone and am told it'll be ANOTHER 30 minutes. So I ask if it is really going to be another 30 minutes.. because my child is miserable, has the flu and we have a bit of a drive back home and she states that it will still be at least another 20 minutes.. So it is now 9:10 pm and we are STILL SITTING HERE with NO MEDICINE. My daughter should be at home in bed and here we are. THEY ARE AWFUL!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. You will regret it. Was able to get my controlled medication in stock for the first time in 5 months. I called to make sure my rx was ready for pick up and was on hold without anyone answering for OVER TWO HOURS before I finally hung up and just drove up there. When I got there, the pharmacy was not busy at all. No one in line, no one in drive through, no phones ringing off the hook. Y'all just not feel like answering my call or??? I get up there only to be told I can't use my GoodRx coupon. I used to be able to use GoodRx for this med in the past if needed. I've been having issues w my insurance as I used to have primary & secondary ins and now I only have one, and there have been some kinks in this process. I expected to pay around $65 with GoodRx, but was told they no longer accept coupons for controlled meds, so the cost would be $384 cash!! I've done some research on this "new policy" and turns out it is solely pharmacist discretion if they want to allow coupons for controlled meds or not. Recommend taking your rx's elsewhere if you're wanting to use coupons to save money. read more

Newsflash - Sherman is no longer a little town full of farmers and old people. More and more of us are working people who have schedules. I showed up ON TIME for a vaccination appointment and was finally checked in. After waiting a total of 30 minutes, I left. I was respectful enough of the Pharmacy employees to show up ON TIME; however, they obviously didn't have any respect for THIS CUSTOMER, so they wasted 30 minutes of my time that I can never get back. So done with CVS in general, and this CVS in particular. If I could give negative stars, I certainly would. read more

This location used to be clean and decent until a few years ago. The last time I walked through the doors, I was hit with a horrendous odor and random people were talking to themselves in several of the aisles. They also didn't have any of the sale items I was looking for. I'm hopping across the street to Walgreens next time. The local doctor called in two prescriptions for my grandson. I go to this CVS and stand in line and I am told it will be 15 minutes. After 20 minutes they call my name and I go and stand in line again for approx 5 minutes. When I get to the register I am told one of the prescriptions will be another 20 minutes before it is ready!! Why would you call a customer to the pharmacy to have them stand in line again for only half their prescriptions!! Hate coming to this CVS! horrible costumer service, tried to transfer to another pharmacy and was told I have no refills left even though I have 2 remaining until 2023 and they had just filled one two days ago and told me it was ready for pick up. When I told them I needed it transferred they said sure only to find out they never transferred it and now saying I don't have any refills and they sent my current medication back even though they are supposed to hold it for 12 days and it's only been 5. I also found out I paid for 90 days of medication and there was only 30 days worth in there. Stay away! read more

I would give 0 stars if I could!!!! My toddler had surgery today in dallas, we live in sherman so I used this pharmacy for the first time for his prescriptions. I called the pharmacy at 12:30 to make sure they got his prescription and to see when it would be ready. They said 1 hr, perfect timing since I was an hour away. I get there at 1:40 and they say it'll be 20 more minutes. Annoying, but whatever. We come home, eat lunch, at 3:30 head back up there (he has to take it at 4) and it's still not ready! They say 10 more minutes. 3:45 comes around and they say they can't make one of them. Worst service EVER and I will never return to this cvs. As if my 17 month old having surgery wasn't enough, now I have to deal with this. read more

My mom and I have been coming to CVS for many years.. We been going to the same location when it use to be called Eckerds and we never had a problem Till few months ago they are having issues keeping enough medications in. So it sends me on a goose chase looking for these medications.. Sometimes I have to go to another CVS FOR THIS PRESCRIPTION.. Last weekend I had to go to 8 different pharmacies looking for this one prescription. If they cannot keep this medicine in stalk i will be taking my prescriptions else where.. And the wait is ridiculous they promised it 30 min to an hour it took them 3 hours to fill it. What were hey doing? Making the drugs? read more

Great location for me, I only come here for the atm because it's free to make transactions, and the photo section. I cannot speak for the pharmacy not general shopping there. The photos always processed correctly, good color and within one hour! Only once was there a mess up and they fixed it within an hour and apologized sincerely and gave me the extra copies free. read more

So, CVS mailed me a coupon for 30% off my next purchase. It was clearly addressed to me, in my name, as opposed to current resident. I went to use the coupon and was told they couldn't honor it because it didn't match with my shopping card? Really????? They should have honored it anyway in my opinion. I will NEVER shop at CVS again. The items I would have been getting 30% off on are normally 25% less at Wal-Mart anyway. We have an issue almost every single time we pick up prescriptions here. A few weeks ago the tech we spoke with told me that they didn't have the med we were there to pick up, after going in circles with him and giving him the DOB 2 more times he finally found it in the system and the bottle had already been bagged and was ready for pick up. Frustrating, but I tried to understand that it could be difficult to hear in the drive thru. But the issue we just had is totally unacceptable. Yesterday my fiancé was discharged from the hospital and given a physical copy of of an Rx and we brought it here and dropped it off. The tech told us that it would be ready in a couple hours and took down our phone number. We came back after 9pm because there is a sign on their window saying they stay open until 10pm for high risk customers. The pharmacy was closed. We came back this morning just to have a different tech and the pharmacist both tell us that they cannot do compound medications. Our phone number was written on the top of the Rx. We should have been called but instead they stapled a piece of paper with the note "return to patient and advise we do not do compound medications". WHY wouldn't they call us to let us know?? We could have found another pharmacy yesterday and he wouldn't have had to now miss 3 doses. Today is Sunday and the specialty pharmacies in town are closed. I cannot look past this. read more

I rarely complain openly to a company I just stop using there services. I stopped using the CVS Pharmacy for so many reasons and transferred all my prescriptions to a pharmacy that had good customer service. I went back yesterday because they had Vitamins that I use on sale. I of course couldn't find the brand that was in the weekly add so I finally found someone in the pharmacy to ask. Her answer was they are in Alphabetical Order if they are not on the self we don't have any. I said I realize that but wanted to ask she looked again and walked off. I will Never Go to the CVS Pharmacy again. This was not a one time incident it's happened numerous times being treated with disrespect by an associate or a Pharmacist that I had a question for. I use the pharmacy because the medications are cheaper with my insurance. The only convenience is that they're open 24 hours. Don't use the online refill system! It doesn't work! Even if you have refills available, they screw it up. Pay very close attention to the prescriptions you pick up, make sure they're right. Oh, and the staff is rude most of the time. read more

I'm tired of dealing with the ineptitude of the employees of this pharmacy. I can live with the lengthy wait at the pick up line. What I do not appreciate are the numerous mistakes these people make on my prescriptions that force me to come back over and again. There have been times in the past when I had to wait several hours for my sick child's presrcription to be filled, AND, they did not call me up to let me know that it was ready despite promises that they would. Other times they would actually lose the paper prescription. . . how does that happen?! Precriptions sent online are not spared from problems. Many times it would take hours for them to receive them in the first place. Most of these mistakes could easily be prevented if they cared about their customers. The last straw was a few minutes ago when I was trying to pick up the same prescription for the second time and it still was not ready!!! Naturally I was upset, but when the pharmacist had the nerve to insult me for complaining, my impatience escalated to anger. How dare he treat me with such disrespect! How rude! If their own pharmacist is so obnoxious, then I wonder if this attitude is the true culture of this business establishment. I cannot believe I had put up with thus for so long. read more
