just now New I get ONE RX a month and since I have moved out here to Seffner from st Pete, I have ALWAYS had an issues with the pharmacist and either how my RX is filled or NOt filled correctly. I'm on 12months getting my 1 RX filled here and I always go after I get off work to pick up, I am a bartender so my hrs to get off is 3AM. I'm NOW being told from the Santa looking pharmacist that my narcotic (one) RX has to be picked up after 9AM?!?!?!???? Santa you are a pharmacist, you can't see I ONLY get ONE RX, which is anxiety meds and not you have caused me to need my anxiety meds that your not giving me!!!!!!! I am forced to live in my car since I'm elderly and waiting for an apartment to open, so weekends I normally park here to have a place to go to the bathroom when I need to. I went to the door when I walked up to it and it wasn't open! I had to go to the bathroom. I googled it and it said that they are not open at night anymore to to the slow traffic at night. They aren't making any money staying open all night. I don't know at this time what the new hrs are but I'm not sure if this keeps up what the Elderly are supposed to do! I've seen people that have to succumb to living like wild animals do. No place to live for whatever reasons. I am a Retired Nurse. I never made a lot of money but people needed people. That will never change but we all need to find God. He is waiting. While people are being forced out of their homes and not to many will help , public bathrooms are STILL A NECESSITY. read more

Please stay away pharmacy wise, they are so slow and clearly don't care, I was on the phone for 30 minutes to be told they will call me if they have the medicine in stock or text me when it's ready it's been 3 days no call or text. This is completely ridiculous. I am transferring to the one on bush and 56th that one is so much better with service overall. read more

Nicest CVS I have ever seen! The advertisement signs are large and they are digital. You definitely can't miss them! I went to the minute clinic inside for an ear infection and a flu shot. This was about 6weeks ago, before this virus really blew up. The Dr on staff was super nice. It wasn't like typical dr visits where you feel like they are herding cattle in and out as fast as possible. She took time to speak with me and ask me about myself. I recently moved here, so she asked me about that. It was a great experience. I will definitely be back there if I need medical advice again read more

Well the customer service from the staff is getting worse longer wait times seems like it takes forever from the time it takes to get your medicine filled and pick it up. One acts like he owns the place coming in and bends down towards the work stand area. I believe the way he was talking it's the same person who gave me troubles last time about not having medical insurance that pays for my medicine that I need to help my health get better. When I was there about 10 minutes ago a customer came in and got all around next to me in the next work station over listening to all my personal information cause I had to give the lady my new insurance card for their record she wouldn't even say anything to the guy or have him back up so my information wouldn't be all over creation but she didn't say nothing to the guy. I wish they had a sign put up some where that says please do NOT stand by the customer ahead of you when that person is getting served due to HIPPA laws. I for one can NOT stand when someone has to be all next to you invading your personal bubble space it's rude if you ask me. I'm not sure why this particular CVS has such a mediocre rating on YELP, as I've been coming here for close to 10 years now and have never encountered any real problems. Everyone has always been very friendly, and I like most of the deals they have on certain items. I think that most people have a problem with the pharmacy, but you generally can't lay the blame on the staff as this place is always slammed busy. I've never seen less than 4 people working behind the pharmacy counter (including the pharmacist), but when there are 4 cars deep on both sides of the double drive-thru, as well as 3 or 4 people waiting in line inside, of course people's patience will be tested. Don't make the mistake of coming here at peak hours, i.e. right after work, because you're going to have to wait. Getting pissy with the staff isn't going to get your prescriptions any faster, and will only cause you to go back to your doctor to get a blood pressure prescription. Take my advice and come here after 9pm (they're also open 24 hours), and you'll be in and out in 15 minutes. Patience people, it's a virtue. read more

This CVS doesn't even get one star. For the past 4 months I have nothing but problems. They only refill prescriptions for people waiting in the store even though you instruct them to fill it on the app and agree to a pick up time on the app. This time i didn't wait for the RX and decided to go the next day. So now I have been in the drive thru line for an hour and I'm still waiting. Can't go forward and can't back up. Usually they have the drive thru closed. This place will drive someone to go crazy. This is the last time I come here. I will drive further to get better service. read more

I usually always go to Walgreens for my prescriptions but I came here because it was the only place my daughter could get her meds filled and they're open 24 hours. I usually don't write reviews on drug stores but I felt the need to do so because the people in the pharmacy were so much more helpful than what I'm used to. They filled the prescription very quickly and gave me some advice on what OTC meds I could give my daughter for her symptoms. They seemed to be very concerned about my child, despite her not being there and were overall pleasant and polite. I wish I would've gotten the two women's names but one was white with dark hair and the other was black and they both were short and looked fairly young. Had a horrible experience at the Minute Clinic at this location today. I booked an appointment on the app for my husband and arrived about 15 minutes before his appointment time. After waiting around with no help until four minutes until his time, a woman asked us why we were there and we told her his appointment time only for a nurse in one of the exam rooms to shout out: "No! I ain't got no one scheduled for that time!" My husband showed the woman his confirmation email and she pointed out that it says July 9th and today is July 8th. The nurse then rudely yelled out: "Then I guess I'll see you tomorrow!" I checked the app and turns out it has today listed as July 9th and doesn't have an option to book for actual today, July 8th. (I've attached a screenshot) Which explains the confusion. The woman simply walked away and we received no help booking an appointment for today or assisting us in any way. I know it's not this location's fault for errors in booking, but the customer service was so awful and they were so rude to us that we canceled and drove 10 miles to another location where we had a great experience. read more

Customer service was terrible. A guy put me on hold for 15 minutes then picks up and when I say hi he put me right back on hold without saying anything. Another 12 minutes go by and the same guy gets on the phone and just says we are busy call back. 1st he could have just said that in the first place. 2nd he could have been a little more Courteous . I'm sick and feel like crap and I was still Courteous. Guess it's time to switch to the Competitor. read more

This pharmacy is great! - if you have nothing better to do than to wait in line to pick up a prescription. 7 folks behind the counter and one to work the register after they deliberate who has to provide a service. The excitement gets better - grab a card for "over the counter" allergy medication which directs you to the pharmacy- wait 30 minutes - you're next in line and then told someone will be with you as they wonder about the floor only to come back - how can We HELP you, hand over the card and be told - all out - no apology for the wait and then they ask, "who's next in line?" I Asked why is the card on display if you are out? The answer? "Too bad - who's next". Not the first time that rudeness is the new customer service. Living in the area, i thought filling my perceptions here would be easy and convenient. It had been NEITHER. I've had the worst experience due to customer service at this place. After being told my perception would be ready in 15 minutes I come back an hour later to it not being ready and then telling me they don't even have to medicine in the building and there was nothing they could do until they got the rest of the medicine NEXT WEEK!!!!!!! My name is Janya. I'm a return customer to this location, but for a while decided to try a different chain closer to me.. After realizing how difficult it is for other chains to keep a constant supply of certain medications during Covid19, I was losing hope as I was near my date, without very much needed meds to be refilled, That's when I re discovered how much this particular location didn't hesitate to help me as much as possible. I couldn't believe how accommodating they were even after learning that I needed to transfer my prescription from a different pharmacy chain,, they STILL went above and beyond to accommodate me. I'm so grateful for these front line essential workers here, Thank you so much for your empathy, and dedication to your patients! I especially wanted to mention the staff that works the 12pm shift. Most of all, a special thanks to someone in particular that I believe to be the "head pharmacist" on duty today. Im so impressed by the way she treated me, especially at 3pm today, so promptly solved a problem I encountered with my refill. She was extremely polite and patient although they seemed quite busy. Nice manager. He was very kind to me. I was trying to use a coupon. He was very patient because I couldn't figure out how the coupon works from my phone. The female worker who helped me was from the pharmacy so I guess they were short staffed. They both were nice. Store was chaotic but I guess that's because it was Thanksgiving night. I was impressed however. They handled pressure well. The pharmacy is not all that great at this CVS. The techs always seem new and confused or stressed beyond measure. If I could give this pharmacy a 0, I would. They pale in comparison to the Walgreens on MLK. They are extremely slow and incompetent. They ask customers to call their insurance companies, instead of calling for them. They lie about calling your doctors. They lie about being unable to fill prescriptions by blaming doctors for writing them incorrectly. They take 6 days to fill pain medications required after invasive surgeries. When they are told the timetable is unacceptable, they lie to the customer (who's supposed to be on bed rest) by stating that they are not allowed to call other cvs' to determine if there is one in the area that is able to fill the prescription within 24 hours. Instead the customer is told to drive to all of them in the area. I personally know that is a lie because I came to this pharmacy initially because the Brandon CVS called them and referred me to them to get my prescription filled. To top it off, when I called the 6 cvs's in Brandon/Riverview area, their pharmacies were closed by 9pm. I'll be calling the corporate office as soon as they open in the morning. read more

This pharmacy is ridiculous. Wait times are long for prescriptions. I have been going to this cvs for 4 years but I've had enough. The pharmacists are clearly overwhelmed and looks like cvs does not want to pay for the help that is needed at this store. It is a busy pharmacy and not enough people working. I have also seen si many people come and go, the turnover is very high, probably because it's a high pressure job. Feel bad for the employees because they are not just sitting around, but because they always seem new they are somewhat slow and never seem to know what's going on. I have been told several times that a prescription will be ready at a certain time only to show up and been told they are out of the medication and don't know when they will have it or that it's not ready. They don't bother to call another cvs either, that's your problem. If you ever need something that is labeled as a "controlled substance" they will treat you like a meth dealer coming on for your fix. Going to switch to another pharmacy. read more
