I'm giving this CVS two stars since this is my second picture print order here now and the quality of the photos both times comes out pretty bad. The resolution in the photos comes back horrible where the photos are almost completely dark with no clear image of who is in the picture. The cropping cut off parts of my pictures too and the lady at the registers isn't the warmest. You have to speak first for her to look up from the counter and decide to engage and help you. Take your money somewhere else to get your pictures printed. read more

Out of a lot of stuff, had to improvise with scarcity. One guy at the register working, but with earbuds in. No recognition. Just checked out with whatever we found on their shelves, no "thank you", or anything. Simply scans and walks away. This CVS hopefully goes out of business along with the crummy Walgreens near it. Review of Minute Clinic Great option when you need quick care. My interaction with this minute clinic was not a quick one. I ended up going four times before my issue was resolved. But each time I went the nurse practitioner (?) was on the ball and super helpful. I had a buildup of wax in my ear. I fully blame my husband's snoring which made me resort to using ear plugs. I guess I kept shoving more and more wax into a hardened ball until I couldn't hear. I bought an ear flusher off of amazon, but it didn't work so I went to the minute clinic. You can either schedule to be seen ASAP or make an appointment for later. They have a huge board that tells you how many people are ahead of you. Being able to hear was a huge priority for me so I opted to wait. The wait time was about 12 minutes and it was pretty accurate. I wish I learned the nurse practitioner's name, because she was amazing. She looked in my ear and told me it was definitely wax. She tried to flush it out, but it was so hardened that the little bugger was stuck. She prescribed me antibiotics, because it looked a little infected, and ear drops to soften the wax and told me to come back in two weeks once the drops did their magic. Fast forward a couple days later and my ear was in pain! I went back to the clinic to ask why it hurt so much. I got there before it opened and was first in line so the same nurse practitioner saw me before I could sign in. She ushered me in, looked at it, and prescribed me ear drop antibiotics and told me to come back in a couple days, but knock instead of signing in. The antibiotics worked! I was pain free but still couldn't hear. Just for the sake of time, basically I had to go back two more times before the wax would come out. Each time, true to her word, I knocked and she would let me in after whoever she was seeing. I basically was able to continue to skip the line and I was never charged more than the initial visit. If I had gone to a doctor would the wax have come out quicker? All in all I went about a week and a half without hearing out of one ear. I really couldn't tell you, but I could tell you that it would have cost more to go to a doctor (I made that mistake once and was charged for "ear surgery" when they used the water flusher on me which cost $80). The fact that my issue is resolved and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg is enough for me to give this place five stars. I bet it depends which nurse practitioner you see, but I lucked out and saw one that was amazing. If only I learned her name... read more

I will NEVER go to another CVS Pharmacy ever again! I have never felt more disrespected as a trans man in a pharmacy. My doctor prescribed me 4 200mg vials. The pharmacist took it upon himself to change my prescription and only gave me 3 and REFUSED to give me the proper quantity PRESCRIBED BY MY DOCTOR because "they measured it out and 3 bottles should work". I ran out of my medication TWICE! Then as I confronted them about it MULTIPLE times I got these responses "oh we will fill it that way the next time you come in". The guy pharmacist is extremely transphobic and gave me rude looks when I gave him my (now dead) name and he saw my prescription. And speaking on the phone with him is even worse. If I tell you that my doctor prescribed me a qty of 4 vials for me to pick up that it what I expect to pick up and when I try to explain that to him he did nothing to resolve his mistake. If you want rude service CVS is for you. If you want great friendly staff I recommend going to Walgreens instead. read more

Today at 3pm. two cashiers are checking out a line of customers. So I go to use the self checkout. Except my colds meds need someone to verify my age. The machine is blaring out "please wait for assistance " so I wait. And wait. I know the cashiers are busy and will get to me. So I wait. And one cashier walks past me to go outside for a cigarette break! WHAT??!? I left my items and went outside and told her I didn't believe she just did that. "Oh I didn't hear the machine" oh sure. Made an appointment to get a Covid shot online a week prior to visit.. Never received a notification that they canceled my appointment so I show up and they're out of Covid shots I get it stuff happens but to not notify the-customer you don't have shots before they get there is absolutely horrible customer service. Also What is with the ridiculous prices at CVs went to buy lotramin was like $16.00 so went next door to target it was $9.00 for identical item ! read more

If you need trench level training on how to be rude and lose customers, visit the pharmacy while sharing a problem. You can be kind and considerate but these people are far too important to recognize anyone's needs but their own. There may be worse pharmacies around attitude-wise. I simply cannot imagine any. I have never given a store or restaurant a one star rating but today customer service in this store has reached an all time low. I purchased an item that came to fourteen dollars and change. I handed the cashier (who I later found out calls herself a manager) and she places on the counter the worst looking, practically torn in half five dollar bill I have ever seen. I thought she must be joking or perhaps was in a spaced out condition. Well I brought her back down to earth real fast and flat out refused the bill. I asked her (graciously) for another bill as this one should be taken back and out of circulation altoghether!! Her reply was "No. Take this one after all its money" Oh and get this she adds, "I should tape it." Well luckily I'm not a person who is easily shocked but this surprised me. So, I asked her to void out the sale and just to give me back my twenty dollars. She was sullen about it but had no choice but to comply with my wishes. Her attitude was so bad and disrespectful that I had to warn others about this store. It happened around noon on September 16, 2021. There are many problems going on with this pharmacy. The people running the cash registers are wearing scrubs but act like adolescent kids who need a baby sitter. My brother and I observed one of them behind the counter where the pharmacist was counting medications, stroking through his beard with his fingers. Gross!!! I hope none of his hairs fell into anyone's medication. I had other items to purchase along with my medication. One of the kids at the pharmacy counter forgot to ring up the items. This has happened 3 times. The next issues that prompted me to write this review are extremely concerning and serious. I've already contacted corporate on these. I've just had a 5th neck surgery. I was discharged without ample medication nor the correct dosages. The pain amplified during the night. I am physically unable to get to the pharmacy. CVS told the surgeon's office they have delivery. I downloaded the app, signed up, and paid for medication. I may have a coworker who might possibly be able to pick up the Lyrica tonight/early tomorrow morning but she is on-call at the hospital. The pharmacist withheld sending out the prednisone since I inquired if I could send someone to pick up the Lyrica. Now, they are saying it's too late to get the steroid out for delivery tomorrow! No, I made those arrangements at noon. They withheld my medication and now I have to call an ambulance to be transported back to the hospital because I don't know when or if I will get the medication to keep the swelling down around my spinal cord. I paid for a service and did not get it. The pharmacy is committing a crime by withholding prescribed medication. I believe it's possible those kids behind the counter are snorting it with their ADHD pills. I'm tired of hearing their excuses of how busy they are. I am a customer and a patient. If they're too busy, I'll give my business and money to Walgreens. It's been 8 hours since I've paid for my medication. I shouldn't have to wait on hold any longer for answers. I've waited long enough. *** Update. They haven't made any effort to deliver the medication to me stating it's too late in the day, they don't know if they have a courier on the weekend, they'll have a manager call me the next day, etc... I paid for this medication AND for the delivery. They told my surgeon's office they could deliver my medication. They lied! I now have to call an ambulance to go back to the hospital due to their negligence! I will be permanently disabled because of this. read more

This is one of the best CVS stores around. The pharmacy staff is so friendly courteous and willing to go out of their way to make things easier for you. The pharmacist, Dianna, always helps if you are in a time crunch, she is also a wealth of information if you are having trouble with your insurance, need something special or just simply have questions. It is a very busy store and the pharmacy is always busy with people waiting and the staff continues to maintain wonderful attitudes and excellent customer service. I am not easily impressed and rarely leave ratings but this CVS pharmacy is worthy of acknowledgement. read more

To CVS...you have a great shop here!!! I tried to fill a script at you 54th st N location but they were far too busy to expedite a small script for me. I had quite literally just left an oral surgery session with wisdom teeth extracted and had been under general anesthesia. 54th St location didn't care about my situation...the good news... This location did!!! You had brought in additional staff since this place is so very busy. I explained my predicament and was given a reasonable time of 20 minutes. They had to call my doc due to the dose prescribed being out of stock. Even with that snafu I was out in 25 minutes!!!!! The staff was delightfully pleasant and empathetic. I fully expect the District Manager is the same for both locations. Get involved!!! What is this store doing that the other is not?!?!? This will be our go to place & I have to say we both unfortunately have many monthly scripts. Great job 80thish and MLK A 10 in customer service!!!!! read more

I have been becoming less and less enchanted by the products and service at this particular CVS. Today, I believe, I got my final straw. I had sent three "deals" to my CVS Card but found that I would not get what I thought. The first was $3 off $7 Batteries. I could not locate any CVS or Duracell batteries selling for this price so I opted for the $6.99 CVS pack. I was informed when I checked out that I needed to purchase two of these to qualify for the "deal" I informed the cashier that I would not spend another $6.99 to save $3.00. So I did not purchase any batteries. The second was VERY similar - $2 off $6.00 mouthwash. I took the $5.99 bottle to the register only to find that I would have to buy two to get the savings. I did not purchase any mouthwash. I did use the third coupon of $2 off the purchase of 2 Arm & Hammer Detergent. I know that I probably appear to be splitting hairs on this matter, but I find it complicated at best in dealing with the coupons and the cash register of CVS. You cannot determine whether you received a particular savings until all items have been charged and the grand total is then given. The need or desire to satisfy the older clientele is definitely lacking here. I choose to now take my business elsewhere where I can accurately and timely determine my savings. read more

I want to write a review for the pharmacy and not for the clinic because I never have used their services. I moved to Florida recently and I needed to fill up my prescriptions down here went to this CVS and I was in shock. This place doesn't reflect what the CVS Pharmacies normally are. The people who work here are extremely rude starting with the pharmacist. They don't have any idea what's going on or how to process insurance copayments. They wanted to charge me almost $100 copay for one of my prescriptions when it was only $1.60. I have been waiting for a second prescription for over two weeks and I called today and they said they just cancel it with out any reason. Very disappointed!! read more

Every point of sales that I had contact with this place this month was a disaster! My insurance was inadvertantly switched so I was not able to be with Walgreens and the next best choice, or so I was told, was CVS. I dropped Rx on a Mon, was told it would be ready next day. I was busy until Wed. and check with them, not ready. Gave them the necessary info and was told to check the next day. Again, I was busy and checked on Fri, not ready. I had a FIT and told them I had not had my meds since Monday and was asked if *I* could provide my insurance info. I explained that I'd be glad to hold while THEY call the insurance to get it. A week later, same problem when I had a change in a prescription. TODAY, I went to pick up two prescriptions and was told "you picked it up last night at 7:00." I said, "I was passed out on my couch at that time." After research, as I expected, they found out that a new employee did not follow proceedures and gave my two prescriptions to someone with my same name but different date of birth. I had to wait for them to fill the script again. When I went to the front of the store on the same day, the cashier there made a mistake on the cash register with my credit card. I was SO glad to get out of there today! I cannot WAIT until NOV 1 when I can go back to WALGREENS!!! read more

I ordered my Rx on line at 5 P - said 10 p would be ready. I go at 10P, Sabrine said I am sorry they are not ready. I ask why? She said they have been busy and are short staffed. I was very very upset. This has happened 3 times in the past at this store. This store has received shameful putrid reviews, not sure why I keep going here, but its very near my home. I spoke to Stefan who said he is the new pharmacy mgr and been there only a month. I have voiced my concerns to the previous Rx Manager, Diana. I told Sabrine if my 4 Prescriptions weren't ready, could she not give me a courtesy call to tell me? But all she could do was apologize. Doesn't cut it. I am extremely upset with this continued poor poor customer service in the pharmacy. Now Stefan tells me to give him a chance, he will try to fix it. This has been going on for years, I have been going to this store since 2003 - and myself and friends, continue to have severe problems with poor service at the pharmacy. No ONE, No ONE wears their names tags,, you have to ask who they are? Tech or pharmacist. Customer have a right to know the credentials of the person in the pharmacy, servicing us. I asked Stefan for the number of the district manager for this pharmacy, he said he could not give to me. In the past, they have given it to me and I have called and complained to the DM.
