I had a very disappointing experience at this pharmacy. I waited all day for my amoxicillin prescription, only to be told it couldn't be filled. When I got upset, the pharmacist, Eric, laughed and showed a careless, unprofessional attitude. Head pharmacist accused me of lying even after showing him messages from my doctor and call log with his employees. I have never been treated so poorly and dealt with such a rude man in my life. For nearly three weeks, I've called multiple times to transfer my prescription from CVS (I wish my insurance still used it. They had it together at CVS--not here.) Each time, I've been on hold over half an hour. I'm constantly having to follow up and give the Same info Over and Over. This will now be the FOURTH time I call because the insurance was not billed, so I'm on hold again for an interminable time, and we'll see if giving my info yet again works. I'm not optimistic. Made reservations on FRIDAY for a Covid test. Earliest appointment was today. Arrived 5 min prior as requested by email. Huge line in front of us. Long story short-after waiting 1.5 hours, the 2 cars in front of us pulled up to window then quickly pulled away...because they fricking ran out of tests. This is why Florida is exploding with cases. The worst part is, the employee wasn't apologetic at all-you'll have to come back tomorrow. If I was able to make an appt the next day, I would have had my test Saturday. Lead pharmacy tech was insanely rude and condescending because I have to take a controlled substance to be stable mentally even after I jumped through the necessary hoops to be able to get said medication. She talked to me like I knew nothing and was holier than thou. Not everyone abuses pharmaceuticals. I have untamable adhd and autism that makes me not be able to function as an adult and she tried everything to keep my medication from me. Switch pharmacies, this place isn't worth it. No one answers the phone, even after you go through the 5 mins of pre-recorded prompts telling you useless information (like the pharmacist might be unavailable & at lunch from 1:30-2:30pm, even though you are calling at 4pm). Drive-thru and in-store pharmacy lines always takes 20+ mins, and that's being generous. Most recent time at drive-thru, I saw only one car was in line, so I thought it was my lucky day because it certainly should be quick. (I had received a notice on my Walgreens app that my Rx was ready). Big mistake. I waited 30-40 minutes behind this car, and once it pulled off and I was at the window, no one was there to greet me. I waited another 10 minutes until anyone showed their face. The lady said she did not have my order and was not sure why it said it was ready on my end. She told me she would put the in the refill but it wouldn't be available for a several hours later. There have been a number of other instances where the pharmacy didn't have the order in stock & failed to relay this information, and/or had no idea that I put in a refill until I showed up to pick up the refill (because the app said it's ready), only to be told I have to leave and come back because they didn't see it and need to work on it. Usually, I have to leave and come back in 24 hours, sometimes they say in 48 hours. The way this pharmacy handles communications and Rx information is NOT ideal when you take medication that you are NOT supposed to skip taking for ANY reason. It shows this pharmacy does not actually care about the underlying health needs or medical issues of their patients, especially when they don't feel the need to tell their patients that an Rx is out of stock and that it will be for an unknown amount of time (this also happened at one of my most recent visits - and was the breaking point for me). Why trust these people with your health when they can't even extend the courtesy of a call to let you know they don't have your Rx, and don't know when they will have it back in stock? Simple solution is pick up the phone, let the patient know so THE PATIENT can decide if they need to transfer it to another pharmacy... or if they are OK to miss a few (or more) days taking their meds. Why is this Walgreens pharmacy making that decision for their customers by failing to inform them? Why does this Walgreens also make it VERY hard to get through to anyone when calling or even waltzing up in person to talk to someone in the actual store? Besides the pharmacy, I have come into the store a few other times for non-pharmacy needs. The workers aren't very friendly, usually have no idea where an item is or WHAT an even item is when I ask for it, causing me to have to google the Walgreen website showing them that the item is "in stock" and carried in their store. It's also usually pretty dirty inside, and there's people always loitering out front and harassing customers for money. By the way, it does not matter what time of day OR what day of the week you visit - it's ALWAYS the same issues. It could be 8pm on a Tuesday or 12pm on a Saturday - you'll still wait minimum 20 minutes for anything pharmacy-related. read more

I will reemphasize all the other 1-2 star reviews on the pharmacy. The wait is always long despite how many people are in front of you. Half the time I get to the front after waiting forever they tell me my prescription isn't there even though I received a text saying it was ready for pick up. This last time the pharmacist told me I had to respond yes to that, even though there's no prompt to answer I have all the other times they refilled with no response from me. That was the last straw and I told them I was transferring to a different pharmacy. Time to give publix a shot. read more

This Walgreens photo shop should be ashamed of themselves. I ordered photos here, after my app said my photos are ready. I go to pick them up and the guy tells me.. "oh we ran out of printer paper" I was like okay. He said someone should have contacted you. I didn't get a text, email nothing. He then said "my boss just told me to cancel all the photo orders" I was never notified at all. This was for a present and I tried to call multiple times to make sure they got my photo order but they never answered the phone. If they had answered the phone I maybe would have been able to get another Walgreens to print my photos. Unfortunately the photos I wanted printed were for Father's Day and they could had at least contacted me or sent them to a diff Walgreens. My father passed away after that and I was never able to get him the photos. No is it not their fault that my dad died after I went to go pick up my photos for Father's Day but truly terrible photo service!!!!! I will never get photos from here again! read more

I needed to stop in and quickly buy something because I needed cash for the valet at the event I was going to this evening. I couldn't find a bank anywhere but Voila! There was a Walgreens around the corner from the event venue. This Walgreens was very clean and carries the items you can find at every location. I grabbed two packs of gum and was off to the register. Bruce was the cashier on duty and very helpful and friendly. He was very efficient and was able to ring customers up quickly so there was never a long line. I was in and out of Walgreens in less than 10 minutes! I will definitely return to this Walgreens when I am in the area. read more

If you plan to visit this specific Walgreens location for an appointment to get a shot/vaccine, I recommend that you spend your time visiting your doctor or another location instead. This is because it takes about the same amount of time (over an hour waiting in the lobby) in order to receive assistance. I was on time to appointment and waited over 50 minutes before being handed a clipboard consent form, while waiting I decided to make my time useful and write this review of my customer experience. If you have anything to do other spend your day waiting in a lobby regardless of your appointment time, I recommend going somewhere else. I previously made a customer account with Walgreens and I will visiting CVS next time instead. read more

I dropped off a prescription at the pharmacy yesterday. I was told that it would be ready at 12:22. Arrived after 1 and when I asked for my medication, I was told they don't have record of it. I was asked if I'm sure I was at the right walgreens (which even if I am not, they can see other walgreens). The gentleman at the counter kept walking toward the back to look for it and came back to me angrier every time. He finally tossed a business card at me and said, have your doctor fax it in. Right! Like I would have them call it in to your store again! Never once was there an apology for losing my prescription within an two hour span of time. My prescription was for a mild steroid to help swelling from a sinus infection....not like I'm trying to do a major drug deal. read more

WONDERFUL location for photo developing. I thought a photo order I placed would be ready in one hour, but final confirmation time declared it would take nearly two. Didn't realize that till my hour was almost up, though. I needed pics to go into a frame as a gift for a celebration dinner, like, immediately! The store was apparently busy since the lady helping me was calling for more assistance, but she jumped right on my request and began processing my order instantly. My pics ran in two minutes, and she was listening out for them, running right back over to package them and ring me up the second it stopped.
