Scheduled a appointment at the MinuteClinic online one day in advance. Completed all of the paperwork, including uploading my insurance card and accepting the consent forms online. When I arrived there wasn't anyone there to greet me, but the nurse practitioner and the nurse practitioner in training were seeing a client already so do not be alarmed if you show up and you don't see anyone just be patient. I went through the drive-thru around 9:50 AM today to pick up my 11-year-old daughter's medications. She has Type 1 diabetes and heart problems, so this is a serious matter. The employee at the window told me my daughter had no refills at all. I questioned it because it didn't match what her doctor recently ordered, and I requested the pharmacist. The employee's demeanor changed immediately. The pharmacist then confirmed my daughter did in fact have refills on all medications. I'm disturbed because it felt like I was being given misinformation until I requested the pharmacist. Regardless of the reason, that level of attitude and inaccuracy is unacceptable when dealing with a child's life-sustaining medication. The employee's attitude was unnecessary, and giving wrong information about a child's prescriptions is unacceptable. Please retrain staff and take patient safety seriously . I really appreciate the Pharmacist taking out time to allow me to properly address my concerns today . My experience with the Pharmacists at this location I rate a 98 percent satisfaction with how they handle and handled my concerns and prescriptions but today I was not satisfied with how the female pharmacy tech treated and handled such an important situation this morning . Please remember never feel guilty about advocating for you and your child/children , if something feels off speck up it could save a life . I feel this was not an honest mistake but done on purpose but if it was an honest error it needs to be addressed . read more

Every time I come here they have the wrong insurance information. I've given my card every time and they never save it. It always takes an extended amount of time and they don't seem to know what they are doing. read more

I called the pharmacy to call in a prescription , the pharmacist said I was very unprofessional because we are a veterinary clinic and did not have an exact date of birth for the dog. I explained it was a rescue and the dog was about 15 years old . The pharmacist refused to fill it and hung up on me. read more

This CVS location is a busy one located near 275 exit #17. They offer drive through service to pick up / drop off prescriptions. It is newly remodeled in a way that makes social distancing easier. The store is well lit and clean. The staff is friendly enough. They provide decent service and are basically indistinguishable from other CVS stores hence the 3 star rating -- they are doing OK. read more

This is THE WORST PHARMACY EVER! They don't answer the darn phone! Forget calling to inquire about your medication or ask a simple call, you literally have to go inside for everything!!! It's so annoying! The only reason I go to CVS is because my prescription is cheaper there but I'm willing to drive 15 minutes away from home to get a better CVS. I'm so annoyed right now. Would not advise anyone to fill prescriptions here!!! I don't personally use this pharmacy but stopped in last week to pick up a few things when I witnessed a fight between two employees in the pharmacy! Both were yelling so loud I could hear them the next aisle over, very unprofessional. Young girl was being taken out of the pharmacy in front of all customers while she was screaming to another employee. Seems like bad management to even allow such a thing to happen. Store located st 845 4th Street. N. St. Pete... This store's Pharmacy is the worst I've seen yet! If an award was given for the most inconvenient, most ignoring of their pharmacy customers, and for rude, inattentive service to the point of being nearly completely ignored by the Pharmacy Techs... and the Pharmacist himself, this store and the employees there would win "hands-dien" the worst customer service in the county! Additionally... FORGET ABOUT *EVRR* being able to call to ask them if your pharmacy order is ready... on the Telephone. They simply won't answer... ever! You can't get them to answer your call, and the voice mail messages you leave are ignored. Besides this, they are now "closed for Lunch" and you cannot pick up your prescription then, and they close early at 8:00 pm in the pharmacy (only), while the rest of the store stays open 24 hours. How's that for (in)convenience? What ever happened to being able to pick up your prescription after you've been to the doctor's office any given day?... as the instructions from the doctor indicate? Won't be bringing any more prescriptions to CVS. I've had enough lousy, inattentive service from them! We get enough abuse these days, without having to get it from a major Pharmacy retailer as well. This is without a doubt the least organized, least effective pharmacy I have ever encountered. The drive through is severely understaffed, they now have a designated lunch break (what pharmacy does that?) during which they CLOSE the place. They consistently fail to have prescriptions ready when promised....I don't feel like saying more. The ONLY reason I use this pharmacy is that one of my prescriptions is difficult to find, and they have access to it (when they don't screw it up). read more

Three stars for the convenient location. This CVS gets SUPER busy on the weekends because many people stop there on their way to Ft. Desoto. The prices aren't that great though that's not much different than any other CVS. I suppose it's the 'convenience' factor. I have been a CVS stockholder for many years and use the CVS store located in the 3500 block of 54 Avenue South in St. Pete, FL for my workers' comp Rxs. EVERY SINGLE TIME FOR THE PAST FEW MONTHS, when refilling the same RX's, the staff has improperly filled the Rx's, by either charging them to Medicare in error, not filling them according to the Rx and allowed by workers' comp insurance, or failed to fill them at all. In the most recent refill event, I called in the refills last night, verified that they were both filled by phone this morning, and went to the drive-in window to pick them up by handing the clerk a printed piece of paper with my name, address, DOB, Phone #, and requested the Rx's. First the clerk asked me for my NAME...it was printed in bold black letters, then she asked me for my name again. Does CVS only hire stupid people?? Next she told me that medicare had refused the Rx's and I'd have to pay cash. I told her the refills, along with the original Rx's were WORKERS' COMP not medicare. Next the clerk told me to wait in the parking lot until they could reprocess the claim correctly. The incompetence of this store's employees in the Rx Dept. is huge. Sad, to see my investment so poorly managed. AS A STOCKHOLDER of CVS I am outraged that there is so much incompetence and continued stupidity in the Rx depart. I'm to the point that I'm going to ask my physician to give me new paper Rx's and fill them at another chain...as a stockholder, this decision is repulsive to me, but needed to avoid any more disrespect by this store's employees. . read more

Rather rude. I have a sick child at home and can't drop off prescription. Called and asked if I can email copy and drop off when I come to pick up the medicine. Pharmacist: 'if you'ld like to drop off, we'll fill it for you' and hangs up the phone. TH publix is reopening soon. read more
