I have been a customer of CVS for many years, to many to count. The Ronkonkoma, Portion Road convenience/ drug store is very convenient and plenty of parking available. My husband and I have used the pharmacy for many years and have always had a pleasant experience. Staff is friendly, thorough and professional. Previously received vaccinations and Covid testing. Pleased to report all went smoothly. I appreciate the abundance of sales, coupons and reward points. The CVS APP is so convenient and easy to use. I order all my photo prints on the APP and they are ready within an hour! What compelled me to write this review was to recognize and commend a cashier/ sales associate named Christine. My face lights up when I walk in and she is behind the counter. Christine is an absolute delight! Friendly, welcoming, professional, helpful, knowledgeable and 100% on the ball. Multiple times I have witness her multi tasking with ease when staff is short. Christine is a valuable asset to CVS. My husband and I appreciate her so much! We will continue to be loyal customers! read more

Worst costumer service ever. Very rude pharmacy employee. I waited in line behind one other customer to pick up my prescription. (about 3 min.) There were at least 8 employees working in the pharmacy. When it was my turn, the pharmacist told me that the pharmacy was closing for lunch(at 1:30) and to come back at 2 o'clock. When I complained, a pharmacy employee snarkily responded that the pharmacy had been closing at 1:30 for 3 years. I was the only costumer in line at that time. They could have easily serviced me in 2 min. I went to the front register to purchase M&M's and left only to find out that it had only just turned 1:30. I guess that this is how CVS treats there customers. I'm done with CVS. I'm moving my prescriptions to a competitor. I will NEVER give such a disengaged organization my business again.... You lost a good customer. read more

Wish I could give them no stars. Loyal customer for years. Pharmacy is awful, staff is not helpful. Charged wrong insurance wrong 2 times. Deleted my insurance information twice. Had wrong phone and address, told me not to worry about it. Last straw was when they wouldn't fill a prescription, when I still had 5 refills left. Then they filled it, preventing me from easily switching to Staop and Shop. Will never use their Pharmacy again. Might not even shop at the store ever again. read more

been going there for many years it seems like the pharmacy is getting Worse. In last few month my Precripitions that my same doctor sends to renew my scripts they state they didnt receive ?? well they are all screwed up cause the place the blame the sorters that check the claims forgot and missed it. Only after my doctor had called and stated they have from the pharmacy check their records that they ok the scripts a week ago and yet they screwed up and stated to me that doctor didnt send what a bunch of misfits Medicine are very controlled and if they mess up they can cause problems by giving wrong or missed meds I cant go to another CVS to far one star read more

It's unfortunate that I am unable to give this pharmacy as many stars as they give F's- but zero just wasn't an option! I used the automated system a week ago to refill a prescription... Mid week I call to see if it's ready for pick-up and was told it's not ready yet... Called again last night (now that I'm out of my script) and was told it couldn't be refilled!! Wtf!!!? You tell me that at 5pm on a Saturday night !? And NOT a week ago when I first submitted the order !? I asked if they could give me 3 pills to get me through the weekend (DENIED) - Side note: I'm not talking pain killers or controlled substances here, but a blood thinner following a near fatal embolism!! I literally was told that I could go to an ER ! Seriously!!!? How about you idiots could have told me a week ago and I just would have called my primary or pulmonologist to call in a new script!??The lack of consideration and utter incompetence is astounding. Every person working in the pharmacy seems to hate their job and the co-pay is always a mystery! Last time $25 - this time $30 - no rhyme or reason - blanket response "call your insurance company" - Nobody seems to know anything or care! I will NEVER come back! read more

I wish that my prescription would be ready when they tell me it will be ready. It doesn't matter when it's sent over or when you are told it will be available. If you're sick or in pain, you'll still sit in one of these dirty chairs. Just like I am now. Writing this review. Listening to 5 people talking about Disney movies. Literally the rudest bunch of pharmacy technicians I ever encountered. If customer service is in their job description, they shouldn't even earn one star. They lost the prescription of the man in front of me, before realizing they gave him the wrong one in the first place. Then the person at the counter was rude and not helpful. Awful CVS. read more

Horrible experience with Carol working in the pharmacy department. Carol was very argumentative and condescending to the costumers. She refused to check coverage and explain the store's policy on that in a clear fashion. She stated that there are a lot of people waiting and she doesn't have the time, nor, did she refer my questions to the pharmacist. I feel the company needs to re-train Carol , so that she can be a better representation of your business. read more
