After speaking with the owner Mike this morning, the situation has been sorted out. He treated both my father and I respectfully, explained why and what happened, and rectified the issue. Thanks Mike! Not sure what's going on over there tonight. I was a customer for over 9 years. I received my prescription and it was short by 6. I was with my father and noticed the box was not sealed before we left the parking lot. We immediately went back in to explain and was not only belittled but yelled at about how we were at fault, somehow trying to get over on them by receiving 6 extra, and that I had only been a client for a year? As if that was somehow applicable to the short prescription issue. Like I said, I've been going to Town Drug for almost a decade with little issue and even have proof of this through old prescriptions. Yet, instead of trying to fix the situation amicably, the pharmacist became belligerent and dismissive. The owner Mike has rectified the situation.

The service was above and beyond. The pharmacist was warm, compassionate and friendly not to mention very knowledgeable. They were very helpful in answering all my questions. The staff is efficient and courteous. Best of all, my prescription was filled quickly. I try to support a family business over a big chain - CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid, etc., because of the personal care that you receive that you won't get at a chain pharmacy. The family that runs this business is lovely, and everyone that works here is extremely friendly and helpful. They actually know my family and always ask how we're doing, etc. If this is what your looking for in a pharmacy then you'll find it here and more. It really makes a world of a difference. P.s They have a great selection of non-prescription/surgical supplies over the counter stuff: shampoos, depends, braces, walkers, canes, wheelchairs, commodes, bath seats etc.. If they don't have what your looking for they will get it for you within a couple a days.

We moved to Middle Island 2 1/2 years ago and Prescription Centre in Coram was the closest local pharmacy. I called and spoke to Dottie, explained my need for requesting that my orders be brought out to my car and was assured that it would be no problem and that they could also deliver. I have actually never been in the store! Dottie or one ofthe other ladies there even call me when they have prescriptions for me or my wife and ask if we'd like it delivered.
