The CVS in Redoak is the pit. The Indian pharmacist has an attitude and tricks you out of your pills probably for her own personal use. I had two prescriptions that were required 30 pills. She only gave me 15 and when I went back to her, she instantly got an attitude and tried to say that I was on a discount Program I am not I have full insurance. Please be aware as I think the pharmacist is stealing the drugs and using them for her own use. read more

I was at this location yesterday drove from Collin County heading to Ovilla, Texas for adult game. First, & foremost the minute I walked inside I was greeted at 6:25 ish immediately by the young lady in the front. I walked throughout the store finally seeing what I needed grabbed two items including decided I needed so candies: hot tamales, red vines and a sour patch thingy ma jing. read more

Drug Store Review - Employees rude to my retired veterian parents, tells patients "that'll be ready by "X"pm this afternoon" and isnt for another 3 hrs after the told time. So my elderly parent with hip and back surgeries get to wait in the car for no reason For the meds they require. The digital/phone system always tells patients they different information that what is actually in play with the personel there (example: "we don't have that Rx here" - digital voice, but when you speak to a person they do and it's just no were near them even thinking about looking at it "would you like us to start of that" (um, yeah, that's why we sent it...) - like it's sitting on a tower in the back manager's desk waiting for a postal stamp from the president of CVS or something). I usually give alot of grace to pharmacys. Rough job and its non-stop. They should be given a wide allowance due to the task. But at sometime, you have to stop, clean house, and right the ship. All in all this place is a mess and should be avoided whenever possible. read more

The pharmacist that is an old bitter looking Asian woman last name Nguyen was extremely rude for absolutely no reason. I am a super polite person and she made a disgusting face right off the bat of the conversation and wasted so much of my time purposely. She also did not give me information about my prescription when the clerk told me a pharmacist needed to talk to me about it before I checked out. Thank you to the nurse who was working drive through that stepped up to help me since the pharmacist was useless and made me wait for an hour unnecessarily. read more

The worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with. after 20+ years of getting prescriptions at cvs, this store will wait up to a week to order a prescription after they've received it from the doctor. if they have half of a prescription you're charged full price. I think one person has actually been friendly. one. read more

The drive-through has been shut down for a while with a very unprofessional, looking hand written sign that says drive-through closed. I don't like having to pull my sick toddler out in the rain just to walk in and get a prescription if I don't absolutely have to. It's 2023. I'm sure that there is a workaround to this. I made an appointment with the clinic because I had had a rash on a couple spots on my body, and it wouldn't go away. So after a week of it I decided to come here. They took care of me pretty quick. We're super polite and professional with me. Explained I actually had poison ivy reaction. So they prescribed a steroid cream & pills, and an antibiotic to finish it off once and for all! Got the prescription filled in about 30 minutes, and was out the door in under an hour! Super quick and easy! Had the rash completely gone in about 3 days! Great job guys! Absolutely horrible survive. the staff makes it impossible to get a hold of them on the phone, to the point where you have to go up there to check on a prescription. I have yet to have a prescription done in a timely manor from them. I'm talking like my doctor sending in a prescription at 10:00am and still having to wait an hour when I get there at 5:00pm to pick it up later. They are extremely rude to you and talk AT you and not with you. I highly recommend to not go to them. ABSALUTE dog water establishmen and horrible employees who seem to hate their job. read more

After leaving Walgreens at the corner of Happy & Pissed, I now proceed to the "The Mosh Pit" pharmacy department of CVS. Those who shop here know exactly what I am talking about. I once called this Mosh Pit and was put on hold, drove from my house in Ovilla to Red Oak, still on hold via cell phone. Waited in line, as I was still on hold..... OMG ! Where is corporate, and do they ever test call there own businesses? Back to the story..... ok waited in line, showed the clerk the OTC medication I needed, she went and asked the pharmacist. He came out and advised me they didn't carry it. Ok, how do I get it, I question??? Mr. Pharmacists says, and I quote, have your doctor write a prescription for it! FOR REAL???? I told him I didn't understand because it was an OTC, they keep behind the counter! (Is that a metaphor??) Mr. Pharmacists suggest I get the prescription from my doctor and he will order. Am I stupid or what???? I left totally confused. I called Adams Pharmacy in DeSoto, TX ~ nice knowledgeable clerk answered the phone. She said, they don't carry it but will have it at 10am in the morning. I said let me give you my name, and debit card number because I need this desperately. She advised she didn't need it, and would see me tomorrow. This is what you call relief and customer service at its best. Why couldn't Walgreens or CVS make this as simple as Adams Pharmacy? Customer Service is something that one of the pharmacy employees lacks. On more than one occasion we have called to check on a prescription and the lady answering the phone was rude and inconsiderate. We will be looking for another pharmacy to use. read more

Why did your staff automatically assume that because I am Hispanic and my partner is Hispanic. You should give me the prescription in SPANISH. What kind of crap is that. I had a full conversation with your employees in English. This is a sorry time we live in. That needs to be fixed. Also if you tell your customers you are going to text them when the prescription is ready . You should do as you say. The customer shouldn't have to wait a longer period of time. Worst CVS pharmacy I have ever seen. I have stage 3 cancer. I take a combination of Norco , Gabapintin. Meloxicam. This is the second time this CVS has run out of meds. I called the pharmacy. They said they ran out and it will take 3-4 days to get it back. I called corporate CVS and spoke to some floor mooron her name was Madeline. She said the best she can do is transfer this matter too a regional manager. If I don't have these pain meds In 24-36 hours I will end up in a ICU of Baylor Hospital in Dallas hooked up to meds at a cost of over $3000 per night. But as usual CVS doesn't care. Not to sound like a Debbie Downer, but the verdict is in: this is the slowest pharmacy ever. A turtle with a broken leg on crutches walking uphill in a wind storm moves faster than the worker bees here at this CVS. I have patience, but today forced me to write a review. TWENTY FOUR minutes in line at the drive thru is just absurd. Talking to the pharmacy techs in the past, a couple of them are snotty with an attitude, but a couple are nice. I've asked the pharmacists questions, they are knowledgeable and nice. I've called the pharmacy before and have been on hold for over nine minutes - ridiculous. I thought the Walgreens across the street sucked like a Oklahoma tornado, but that was until I started doing business here at CVS. So, pick the better of the two evils: Walgreens or CVS. At least CVS is open twenty four hours so you can pick up your family's meds any time or day. read more

Pharmacy was horrible! Dropped a prescription off at 4:15 and was told a couple hours. They appeared to be busy since I was ignored while standing in the drop off line so I gave them extra time. I arrived at 7:30 to pick up my prescription and was told "15 more minutes".....8:30 and we're finally paying. Never ever again! read more

I come monthly to get my sons medication, I love that I can come after work (late) & pick it up. With that said the gentleman that does the drive thru window needs to learn what customer service is. He is obnoxiously rude & is evident he doesn't want to be there. Last time to avoid dealing with him, I went inside. My sons medicine is quiet expensive & lady asked if I was sure I really wanted to purchase it, since it was so expensive. I think I'll be switching to Walgreens soon read more

Disappointed with the response or rather lack of just now trying to call pharmacy. On hold for 12 minutes, called main # to ask in anyone was answering the pharmacy phone. Employee interrupted to sat " this isn't pharmacy" and hung up. Attempted to call back to ask for the manager three times... each time received hang up call. Terrible customer service at pharmacy. Every time I come here I have to wait and wait even with no line.

I've used the CVS pharmacies all over Ellis county and red oak has to be the absolute worst. Takes 20 minutes to get anyone on the phone. I have my prescriptions set up for ready fill and in Waxahachie that worked great but now I have to call them to make sure it gets filled. Bad customer service. Slow in general. I can't even begin to tell you how amazing this pharmacy is. I believe the pharmacist name was "Anup" ( sorry if I spelt it wrong). He was incredibly kind and professional. Don't recommend going here if you actually want your prescriptions when you actually need them. Very slow and not great customer service.

They have screwed up my prescriptions long enough! I now use the Red Oak Pharmacy - and THEY don't make me wait 5 days for the mess to straighten itself out- then lie to my doctor and tell him I never called. UGH! All of this because one of their techs miswrote my last name in the computer, a very common last name - though it printed out correctly on the label. I ended up with the beginnings of withdrawal, all due to one very careless employee. Their hours and location are more convenient than the other one, so I will give them ONE star. read more

I do not understand what is going on at my CVS in Red Oak. Since Walgreens moved in down the street, CVS seems like they are just not giving a crap about customer service. For the third straight time we have been ignored, walked away from, made to wait for an RX that was sitting ready after having been left for more than 4 hours to be filled and a wasteful frustrating time in a massive line to be done that freakin way. So, I suggest if you want me to transfer all my 1000.00 of dollars worth of prescriptions to Walgreens or Wal-Mart less than 1/2 mile down the street, please just be professional and send me a post card so I can avoid your store altogether !
