These people in the pharmacy are very busy, hard working folks. Yes, you might find one person with an attitude at times, but for the most part, they are friendly and very helpful. Remember.......they only get 30 minutes for a lunch break at 1:30pm so plan accordingly. Be an adult and quit your whining already. read more

The pharmacy has exceeded incompetence to arrive at total dysfunction. They lost my RX that I confirmed had arrived before I drove over. The pharmacy employees can't work the computer. While people are waiting in person the people constantly answer the phone ignoring waiting in person. I came here once before and was told they were out of network for me. When I checked with my insurance company on the issue they confirmed it was in network but that the attendant was so ignorant I would be better off at another pharmacy. Without a doubt the worst pharmacy ever. I have several prescriptions with them. CVS is supposed to text me to let me know when the prescriptions are ready. On my last 3 renewals I have been texted to tell me my prescriptions are ready. So I then drive 45 minutes to the pharmacy to pick them up and I am told they are not ready and to come back in an hour. I went home and called to be sure they would be done when I get there. After 35 minutes on hold and was told they are working on it. How long does it take to put 30pills in a bottle. When I complained about the fact that I had been texted by CVS the prior day with the message "your prescription is ready for pickup", I was told "the Pharmacy has nothing to do with the texts". Oh silly me. I should have known a text from CVS has nothing to do with the Pharmacy at CVS. I guess my time means nothing to CVS read more

Staff always greets me when I walk in. They ask if they can help me find anything. If I ask where an item is, they can direct me to the correct aisle. Employees are friendly and courteous at the register. Honestly, one of my favorite stores and I like that it is close to my house for convenience. I frequent the CVS several times a week. read more

I've been going back-and-forth with the pharmacy and the insurance company to try and get my generic generic medication filled there's no copayment I've been taking you for 15 years I can't go out of network and go to a different pharmacy because they have a high copayment I'm stuck with CVS because they're own my insurance company so after going back-and-forth for 3 days I called today because I've been out of the medicine for one week and I get a clerk who sounded like she could can less I had a problemin the pharmacy department . I'm so done with them next year I'll choose a different insurance company who doesn't use CVS. read more

I am a prescribing physician who called and left a prescription on the after-hours recorder. The following day my patient called to report that the prescription was not there. I contacted the pharmacist to make sure that she checked the after-hours voicemail. She replied that they were 5 days behind. She had not yet checked the voicemail from the night before. I gave her the verbal order and asked if she could explain to the patient what the problem was because the implication was that I did not call in the prescription and I'm tired of taking the blame. At that moment she became irate and said she's tired of taking the blame also! My patient contacted me to let me know that he finally did receive the prescription but instead of getting the true backstory was told that he had a nasty doctor! It's a shame when businesses / individuals are not willing to accept responsibility when mistakes are made. A simple apology would have been appreciated. Staff in the front is helpful but the pharmacy is lacking. I switched to Beaufort Pharmacy & Compounding (which is great but has shorter hours) and the only reason I came back to CVS is because the other pharmacy closed before I could get there after work. I should've stayed. I'm on Accutane which requires a million hoops to jump through (for women) in order to get, and CVS used to have no problem filling it as soon as the doc called it in and I did my iPledge quiz. Now the last two months they've "lost" the prescription or failed to verify it with iPledge within the six day window or told me they didn't have any Rx for "isotretinoin" when it was just under a brand name (they fill it under a different brand name every time, so I never know which brand name to ask them to check for) and that it was an issue with my doctor. Now I'm having to make 3-4 trips back to my doc to retake the pregnancy test, retake the iPledge quiz, etc. all because this pharmacy is now dropping the ball. I did my part, they need to do theirs. I'm having to sacrifice hours of my very limited free time to get my medicine because of THEIR mistakes. Go somewhere else for prescriptions. read more

Jennifer, the Pharmacy Manager could not have been less helpful when trying to refill a prescription. I have been trying to fill it for almost 2 weeks, they claim not to have the approval the doctor sent and don't have time to worry about it. She told me I was at the back of the queue even though I have been in "line" for more 2 weeks. Very rude, very clipped; will not go back and don't advise anyone else to use this Pharmacy either. Most employees I have ever seen in a single CVS Pharmacy and yet more mistakes/less results in any CVS Pharmacy...CVS can do better. read more

The pharmacy staff is friendly and helpful, depending WHO is working. They always have new techs in training, which is worrisome because a mistake could be made and it has. I've had a few customer service issues lately. It depends on whether it is a new technician trainee or one who is experienced. Examples: Instead of offering a partial option, I've been told I have to go to another store or wait for an order. She could have offered a partial order and delivered rest within couple days. I get a lot of meds because my husband is very ill. Few weeks ago, at the drive-through, I overpaid $87 on one medication because tech didn't look up the "right" insurance card on file, as I requested. I get meds all the time and I "always" have them check two cards, depending on cost. I was led to believe she did, and overpaid. I found out when I went to get a refill and the cost was $87.00 LESS. The technician kept telling me I used a different card, well, no duh. My point WAS that the technician who helped me at the time, DID NOT LOOK UP the right card when I asked her to. Even the store manager was there, telling me they had everything on file. Well damn, I KNOW I paid the wrong amount. I wasn't disputing that. LMAO. How do you prove someone looked up the wrong card? Since that happened, I request for any large cost to be confirmed by an experienced tech. I did return and speak to another experienced tech, Duan, who showed me what to look for on the label and told me if I still had the label, to bring it into the store and it would be re-rung. So why didn't the store manage offer that? I give Duan, five stars. The other tech and Store Manager, each get only one. I get meds all the time and hard to remember sometimes how much I paid before. I work too and have a lot on my plate, so I put my trust in the person on the other side of the counter. That incident has taken any trust I had away. I understand they are new technicians, but, teach them well. Best yet, have an experienced tech on stand-by to assist with any and all customer service issues. I worked as a Customer Service Manager at a bank for YEARS. Successfully too, might I add. It's all about knowing your job and customer service too, folks!!!!! And no, I don't have a deductible to meet on a monthly basis. Another complaint, is their automated call service. You get a call telling you a prescription is ready and it isn't. I personally call and talk to someone to verify if a prescription is ready, before I make the drive. Corporate office, take notice. read more
