I rate CVS a1 because there is not a Lowe rating. Our insurance insist we use Caremark, aren't we lucky

I love Super One groceries, but the pharmacy is terrible. Just tried to get my 87 year old mother a…read moreflu shot, first negative is they told us we needed to wait 30 minutes despite her freezing (she was dressed warmly and had a blanket on her). Then despite the fact that they said in front of the store that they are Walgreens now, they couldn't give her a shot because she was on hospice (her hospice did not have the senior shot) and their system could not override her being on hospice since they don't have the Walgreens system. My mom is a huge challenge to get in or out of a car, (a 20 minute ordeal) as she has dementia and she is in a wheelchair. All I got from their staff was rude remarks and total disinterest, NEVER an apology for my inconvenience. Even the pharmacist was rude. I had called them that morning to make sure they had the shot and her information as she had been using them for years. Will use their grocery store, but never their pharmacy. I have worked several jobs, both professional and non including customer service, I would never have treated anyone as rudely as they did.

FIRST of all, I would rate 0 stars, but it will allow no less than 1!! My family and I would NOT!!…read moresuggest that anyone who is considering this pharmacy, actually choose it. We have been given the WRONG medication (more than once). We've been given someone else's medication (once a controlled substance...). They do NOT fill prescriptions on time (even when they are the ones who tell you when to return for pickup). They somehow manage to "lose" refills that are supposed to be kept "on file". One month, you may get lucky enough to have your insurance applied, then if you don't pay attention, you'll find that they have stopped applying the insurance, OVER charging consistantly thereafter. (It can easily go unnoticed...When I pointed it out, I was asked by the employee of which I addressed the issue,"what makes YOU think that YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE TO pay this now?!", in a very sarcastic tone. (like I was asking for a special privledge...NOT just asking to have my insurance applied. (Come on!! I'm broke, paying sooo much money for that insurance and now I feel like this pharmacy wants me to beg them to actually use it for my medications!!). Again, if you still decide to use them, make sure to COUNT ALL of your meds while holding up the looonnnggg line AT THE WINDOW (you will need to be prepared for the snears from both others in line behind you & employees. (YES!! They DID SNEER and talk about me, for checking our meds at the counter. This was whispers between employees and between the other customers (they weren't aware of why I would check our meds. My guess is that if they knew every experience my family & I had there, they'd be shocked, understand, and maybe check theirs too!) Your meds may be short, but if you step away before counting them, they won't do anything to resolve it (That was our experience there, more than once. After the third time, I finally started counting at the window and they seemed offended, becoming rude...AND this is THEIR policy!!). DOUBLE check the RX dosage prescribed against what's actually given to you in the prescription bottle (....that's also happened to us.) Be ready for a wait. RARELY do they open the 2nd register. If you need your meds by a certain date, you must REPEATEDLY tell them, because if they don't have it in stock, they won't tell you...instead they wait until you go to pick it up to say.."sorry, but we had to order it....It won't be in until..." (they could tell customers when they are dropping off the script, the truth about when they can expect it to be ready. Often, I would have rather taken it to another pharmacy) If you need to call for ANYTHING, don't expect an answer...if they do pick up, when being placed on hold, your call is likely going to "accidentally be dropped". They have told me it's too soon to fill scripts, even though it had been over 30 days. I could go on and on and on telling of what my family and myself have experienced. I know we're all human and make mistakes. The thing is, for it to be something as important as medication and for these "accidents" to occur soo often.... I worry for the elderly, the disabled, and people who just generally have overall trust. If you're still going to use them, be AWARE! We had to learn the hard way and I hope that by leaving this review, we can educate others on what to look for, before it happens to them and it's too late.
