I believe my time is valuable too. 2nd appt- Checked in at 0808 for 0820 appt. This time it was better. All the normal tests completed quickly. Eyes had to be dialated, tack on additional 30 mon before the Dr. sees you. So got a trial pair of contacts to wear for a week. Any issues with them and I go back in for another pair of trial lenses to try a different prescription. That is very helpful before investing in a years worth of contacts. The Dr. is a nice young professional. He was honest and informed me that I am no longer a Lasik surgery candidate. I would have preferred he told me that I have a stigmatism instead of finding out when I paid at check out. (When I asked how my co pay was determined) Although I didnt know I was getting fitted for it, apparently a fitting for toric contacts costs 2x as much. Even with Eye Med insurance it is still $90 Out of pocket. So at 1000 a.m. I walked out of there.
