This area is heavy with automobile traffic when the sun is above the western horizon and it is just a typical gas station. However, before the sun rises and after it settles, it gets creepy. You might actually ponder if the long-rumored Zombie Apocalypse has arrived if you pop in during the darkness. There is a homeless encampment nearby, and while I've never been bothered by its denizens, I've seen them lurking along the periphery of the sodium-lighted penumbra of civilization. I keep a Ziplock(c) bag of brains to toss aside and distract them, just in case I need to beat a hasty retreat. Trick's on them, because the brains are really just lo mein noodles doused with Frank's RedHot sauce. I put that sh*t on everything. Gas prices used to be lower than everywhere in a reasonable distance, but now the prices are typical. But I sometimes need gas while leaving work at night. So well-lighted equals better. Mostly.

I know it's gas station food, but come on, where are your standards?? I gave the rest of the sandwich to the homeless guy pan handling in front of the store. As I was getting back into my truck, I looked over at him just in time to see him spit out his first bite of the sandwich and throw the rest of it into the trash receptacle. Now that's pretty bad when a homeless man throws away food!!! I'm sure your CEO would never eat this garbage, why should we. There are too many other places for quick food and gasoline.
