This Publix has gone down hill over the years. Now, most of the good staff have quit or transferred…read moreto other stores. The Deli and hot food area is the worst department in this store. Lunchtime is between 1130 - 130 pm. There should be no reason one person is working the sandwich area. Don't say you have 2 staff when one is just making online orders. If you are 2nd or 3rd in line and the people in front of you have a list of several sandwiches to make, your lunchtime is over and you have to be back at work before you can eat. Might as well run thru Chick-fil-A. Same with dinner time, the time frame is 5pm - 7pm. No reason what so ever to have bare hot shelves of missing chickens, chicken poppers, etc. There manager of that department should be replaced. Many times this store makes me feel I live in Venezuela, many items empty shelves, especially if an item is on BOGO that week. Managers, you know your stock and what sells fast, you need to then up the order. The only department that excels is the Pharmacy. Amanda and her team there do a fantastic job. If any of them leave then it's finally on to the Senoia store. 5 stars for the pharmacy, 2,5 - 3 stars for the rest.

But besides that, the store is clean and really nice employees. I even saw one of my husband's classmates working in the deli, from Miami, Florida. We were happy to see her.

They claim they didn't have the proper insurance info in order to process the payment. On top of that this was scheduled weeks in advance and we get no phone calls until the Friday evening before they closed. Then we had to wait until Monday where they indicate they open at 9am but no one answered the phone or returned our call until 10:30am. Not impressed and I'll be speaking with the original doctor who works with them that I'll NEVER use this pharmacy for anything not even baby aspirin. I will pay extra to go elsewhere where people are treated properly. Not creating stress for someone about to go into surgery because they are inept and cannot do their job. Horrible.

the worst place for any minority to patronize. FYI they literally have medicine in the pharmacy…read morethat they pick and choose to give it to. my Doctor literally called and inquired if rhe pharmacy had the product in stock. he did. I walked in to the pharmacy a few days later due to the weekend, the tech started the conversation with "we don't hv this in stock." she brought it to the pharmacist (Derrick Chapman) and he advised they don't either. I stated that my doctor called prior to me driving over on this side of town and you stated you did I told him the doctors name and he agreed the product was in stock and he would fill the prescription. he proceed to ask more questions and to advise me that I was wrong I should hv said my Dr. called a few days ago which I was kinda taken bk by in addition to the pharmacy tech and other conversation going on about the prescription. let's just say a lot was going on with the pharmacy and anyone would be shocked by the activity. in no way did I present myself aggressive , rude, or defensive, the pharmacist stated that I rolled my eyes and to "get out and leave immediately due to my attitude and rolling my eyes." I was taken back and shocked at the refusal of service for a pain medication I'd never been on and needed due to a major car wreck. I literally stood shocked because I didn't know what went wrong and I definitely didn't present myself in that manner. to be black and refused service in 2024 from a white man for something that didn't occur (eye rolling or attitude) that I didn't hv nor ever present myself baffles me. you didn't want to fill the prescription to begin with, Derrick Chapman just looked for a reason as a private pharmacy not to do it, irregardless of how bad I needed it. I'm aware of the episode epidemics however I've never needed one or taken one. I understand how some customers may get however I did not. i was just in shock how the pharmacist can refuse and hide drugs that are needed. you could hv clearly looked at my file a saw 100% zero epiode prescriptions in my name. this is the most racist experience I've ever had. but then again it's hapeville.
