I went to the Immediately after my husband was discharged from the hospital. He was prescribed six medicines. the pharmacy only filled one. She a young Asian women pharmacist said the cape cod hospital had to call and then she asked for the doctors number. She said she needed to get it approved or she lose her license. my husband was in bad need of the medicine. of course we did not have a number. We left. After we were home she called and said she could fill the rest of the prescriptions. We don't live near CVS so this was a big imposition for us. This CVS has a UPS drop-off. I dropped off a package worth $600 and was told to expect a receipt texted to my phone number. I didn't receive the receipt and when I went back to the CVS and spoke with the store manager who had accepted the package, she had no record of the shipment at all. With no tracking number or receipt it's impossible to get any information from UPS about what happened. read more

In seventy years I haven't had poorer service from a drug store. In person, twice in the past month I've been told "not ready, come back tomorrow after 2", only to come back at the designated time to be again told "later". As if the customer were an unnecessary annoyance. A phone call to find out an order's status is impossible for me, as I'm incapable of spending over 25 minutes listening to the most excruciating hold "music" possible. In general, CVS's business model over the last decade or two has been to buy out all the local pharmacies, consolidate, and then run their outlets with as little consideration for the performance of their service as possible, understaffing, to squeeze maximum profit for shareholders. Today one of the salespeople literally THREW an item at me at the register after I questioned her about my coupon not going through correctly. She did not want to redo it! I've been snarled at at the pharmacy too. Whoever manages this place should be fired, and they should start all over. this is genuinely the worst cvs i have ever been to. My dr has called my RX in twice now, they claimed to not have it the afternoon after he had done this. Fine, i will just check back in later via phone. WRONG they are completely unreachable by phone, 4 attempts now at 30+ mins each of being on hold over a period of 2.5 days. and this is a pharmacy, something people depend on with their wellbeing and sometimes lives. The answering bot ask you to go online to schedule an appointment for COVID vaccination, but the website asks for your insurance information AND pharmacy information/ RX bin# etc. This is information CVS already has! Never use CVS Photo Center for developing film. On March 11th, I dropped off a single roll of 35MM film. This was the first time I'd use CVS for film developing. The girl took my film, placed it in an envelope, took down my information, and told me it would be about a 2 week waiting period. Apparently, this is not the proper procedure and the girl missed an entire step of the process. I was supposed to receive a slip with my order information and envelope number. After weeks of not hearing back I tried calling the store on THREE separate occasions. Every single time I received the same answer: they had no information on my order, no record of it AT ALL, and they couldn't help me. During only one of those three calls did they even attempt to help me get the contact information for the CVS Help center. But after being put on hold for almost ten minutes they came back to say they couldn't even find the help center phone number for me. And let me tell you, finding the help center phone number for CVS is NOT easy. It took me about a half hour of different Google searches to get me to where I needed to be on CVS's labyrinth of a website. I called several times over the last couple months only to met with an automated "we are not currently open, try again later" message despite their website stating the help center should be open. I have just now, on JUNE 21ST, reached an actual human being. They told me after 90 days, the film is thrown away. The envelope had ALL of my information on it including my name, address, and phone number but it was still thrown away because it was not submitted properly. I am upset, but most of all, I am incredibly angry. I am a photographer and that roll of film had photos from a vacation I had taken for my birthday that I was very excited to have developed. The girl who helped me clearly had not been trained properly. I understand film is not used often anymore, but if your company offers the service EVERYONE should be 100% trained for it. Just giving it one star because I have to put a rating. Literally the worst CVS and really the worst store I have ever set foot into. If I could I would give this 0 stars. I have never been more embarrassed to set foot into a store. The customer service was beyond horrendous, and the the employees were so SO rude. I went up to the pharmacy counter to ask if they had any self covid-rapid tests in stock. When we approached the counter the lady could not have been any more rude. When we approached her, she greeted us by saying, "Yes?" in such a disgusted way like we were bothering her. She said that they had them in the front of the store. I'm glad that Jim M. had a positive experience with the pharmacy - I was not so lucky. Long story short: I have RX coverage, but they would not call my insurer to obtain the payment authorization. The pharmacist was arrogant and dismissive, and interrupted me in mid-sentence when I was providing him with the phone number for payment authorization and trying to explain. He issued me the ultimatum to pay direct, or not get the prescription. Fine! I left and had the prescription transferred to another drugstore, where there was no issue.
