I have always experienced fast, friendly service at this CVS. it has lots of parking, too. Today, a young lady in the aisle (did not get her name), was especially helpful, guiding me to the places I needed to go. Today, 7/13/22, I picked up my CVS First aid item for $3 off and, by buying additional first aid items (up to $12 or more), I earned $3. I picked up some vitamins, and with my extra care pass ($60 a year for $10 saving each month on ANYTHING), I also got 20% off my 3 CVS items. I had $5 extra rewards for filling 10 prescriptions, and I had my $10 monthly care pass savings, so my total bill was only $6.12. CVS Pharmacy - Exterior - Drugstores Near Me - Oldsmar, Florida

Drugs, alcohol, and stuffed animals. Could you possibly find a better combination? I'm referring to you, not me. Personally, I go here for Red Bull or the ATM machine. I know someone will say those two things are worse for you than drugs or alcohol, but perception is everything. They have a Minute Clinic here, but I have never used it, so I don't know what it means. I would assume it means you only have one minute to explain your condition and after that you're charged $1/minute to explain your situation. If I'm right, I'm guessing they do this to keep the line moving. Otherwise, a clean and convenient location with employees that try to secretly talk about their personal lives (and fail miserably). Overall, definitely recommended. I'm more of a Walgreens person, but this CVS has won me over. read more

Disrespectful, unhelpful, uncaring, inefficient - the opposite of what is expected from healthcare. The pharmacy staff is exceptionally bad. In addition, when they shut down for Lunch, they will close the window right in your face as you await service. read more

When it's time to get some life-prolonging drugs, I've always gotten professional help in their pharmacy. Alex takes the time to get it done right if there are issues with insurance, prescriptions, or whatever. The pharmacists themselves have also been helpful answering any questions I might have. My only issue is that it can be tricky to get in the parking lot unless you are coming from the correct directions (westbound on Tampa Road or northbound on Forest Lakes). Otherwise, you have to make a U-turn or sneak in the back way via Walmart. Thanks CVS! read more

Fantastic Minute Clinic I am a fan of all Minute Clinics. My husband doesn't understand why I don't have a primary care doctor, but I tried once and the three I called weren't taking new patients! I was experiencing flu like symptoms so my OBGYN told me to go get swabbed for the flu. Luckily while looking online to see the closest minute clinic I noticed I could also put myself in line remote. DO THIS. There was a forty-minute wait time, but when I got there I waited ten minutes! I'm assuming both myself and the man in front of my put ourselves on remote waiting whereas the woman sitting there did not. Both of us came around the same time so I saw our names on the board go from not arrived to present. He was taken immediately and I just had to wait for him to be done. The woman who was sitting there who was marked present the whole time had to wait for both of us. Don't be that woman, be like us instead and take advantage of remote wait. The nurse practitioner did all the normal vital sign checking and after swabbing me determined that I did indeed have the flu. She asked if I had difficulty reaching my OBGYN earlier in the day since I'd have to call back to let them know the diagnosis and when I said yes, she actually picked up the phone to call them for me! (Turns out the office was closed for lunch, of course they were). She had my prescription filled right at the pharmacy so I wouldn't have to go anywhere else. She seemed pretty worried about my wellbeing because she kept asking if I was ok to drive. (I must have looked really bad). In the end she sent me to the ER because she was worried about my high temp and high heartbeat (I was 16 months pregnant at the time). She called ahead to the ER so they would expect me. I'm actually really glad she was so worried about me driving because it scared me enough to call my husband to pick me up. In the end she was right, I shouldn't have been driving. Terrible circumstances, but great service. I'll definitely keep coming back to this minute clinic. I just hope I don't have to again. read more

This is the CVS you go to when all the other CVS stores are out of your way, like a last resort. Even though it's a free standing building, the store inside feels cramped and small. Getting to this location can be a pain, its on a very busy corner and there are no turns from the street that go directly there, so you will need to navigate around a very busy Subway sandwich shop or even (dun dun DUN) Walmart depending on your path. Both options suck. So by the time I even get to the door, I'm crabby. Inside, it's a CVS. Not the biggest one you've ever been to, but they likely have what you are looking for. Side tip: Sign up for paperless receipts! They get sent to your email, and your extra care bucks go right to your card, PLUS you save 400 trees per visit to CVS by not getting that long, long, long receipt. read more

Visited Minute Clinic twice in Oldsmar and was completely impressed with both nurse practitioners and folks in Pharmacy. Very competent, professional, and personable. Awesome experience. I recommend reserving your appt spot online before going in, so you don't have to wait. read more

Absolutely awful customer service. I will never return. My son is on a controlled substance for ADHD. My husband dropped off the script and was told it would be ready by 4pm the same day. I swung by the pharmacy drive thru at 4:30pm where I was told they lost the script and couldn't get a new one from the doctor until the following day. Problem one, it's unacceptable for them to lose a hard script for a controlled substance. Problem two, we were losing our insurance the following day. I go home after calling the doctors office myself to see if we can get a new script sent. In the meantime CVS calls to tell me they found it. I go back to pick it up and they fail to tell me it is the complete wrong pill (not extended release and not a capsule). Since no one let me know like they should have, I left with it only to have my husband call later to find out they will not switch it out at all and in order to get the correct medication, we need a whole new script and would have to pay full amount out of pocket! Then the woman on the phone proceeds to tell my husband that they never lost the original script, basically calling him a liar. Do yourself a favor and steer clear! read more

Went to after hours peds in palm harbor needed a pharmacy with a drive up. Drove up to the CVS on Tampa rd in Oldmsar just before close on on Tuesday night to hand in a prescriprion for my very sick child in the back seat. The Pharmacist, I think her name is Janice? was so sweet. She had a couple people in store so I thought she was going to tell me to come back but she came back to the drive up to tell me she had done it and it was ready! Woah. read more

I've used this CVS since I moved to the area 9 years ago. It's central location makes it easy to access off of Tampa Rd. They are very clean and well organized. Always well stocked shelves with an area for seasonal shopping too. The pharmacy is located in the back of the store beside the Minute Clinic. Prices for the store and the pharmacy are comparable to other ones, but the staff (up front) are very friendly and helpful here so it sets it apart for me. The clinic is accessible and easy to make an appt. most insurances cover his as well. If you're not sure if yours does, just ask they will know. The only thing I would say that is not 100% great is the pharmacy staff. Although that seems to slowly be improving. read more

So I went to this clinic and they told me my copay on October 6th was $5 which was fine. I signed for and paid $5. I now received an email saying we charged your card $30 for services. Wtf I never agreed to that. I paid $5. Don't even try to get ahold of their customer service. What a joke. I was on hold for over 30 minutes. I don't know where all the negative talk is about this CVS is coming from. I have lived in Oldsmar for 15 years and have always found the staff, managers and pharmacy staff to be extremely helpful. They always greet you with a friendly hello and will help you find whatever you need on the shelves. I now live in Dunedin and still go to this pharmacy because they take great care of me and my family. They will work with your insurance to your advantage and seem very compassionate about whatever it is you are going through medically. Straight forward drug store that also happens to sell everything you never knew you wanted. Sales staff is helpful and nice when you can find them. Pharmacy staff is completely useless as I was told that it would take almost two hours to fill a simple prescription that is filled off the shelf and not counted. Not impressed... I was sick last week and my Dr was out of town. A coworker recommended I see the PA on staff. I went as a walk in patient, filled out patient info using easy to use computer, sat and waited about 10 minutes. Kelly called me in, uncovered why I was there while gathering insurance info. She was thorough, fast, accurate and gave me necessary meds. Another 10 minutes waiting in the pharmacy for my meds. I was in and out in 40 minutes. I will definately go there again! Been a pharmacy customer for 2 years. Same RXs month after month. Same doctors. One RX is Schedule 2 controlled substance for ADD. There is always a problem getting it filled. Either they don't have it in stock, they say they can't read the date at all, they can read the date & tell me it's too early b/c they get the date wrong, etc. Invariably its delayed because of some issue they find and I'm the one that has to straighten it out with the Doctor. Can't believe I continued to do business with them. This month was the final straw. Made 5 trips there in 2 days. Got a different story each time. I'm done. Don't waste your time. read more
