On 12-28, I attempted for the first time to have my 2 prescriptions delivered. I submitted "same day" and included an xtra tip. My APP stated everything went thru and it shows "just waiting for delivery". The next day, it still showed on my app the same thing. My bank showed it was "pending" payment from the previous night (when I ordered it) I called Walgreens and spoke to the pharmacist and she stated that the order was "cancelled ". I drove down there asap and showed them my app and she said, "it didn't go thru the bank" I showed her it was cancelled from Walgreens not me. Whom ever was Signed in on the register that CANCELLED MY ORDER IS THE PERSON AT FAULT. But she just stared at me. I'm done with Walgreens. Stopped here for years for prescriptions not a part of my regular ones, such as cold meds. They are always efficient and quick with scripts called in by my Dr. Today I went online to schedule a COVID booster shot and got in within 15 minutes. Very smooth, I just had to fill out a couple papers I didn't have time to do at home before I left hurriedly. A few minutes waiting and had my booster plus my flu shot for the season! Save yourself the headache and go to ANY OTHER pharmacy than this one! They rarely have the medication you need on hand, and forget about kind and friendly customer service. Repeat customer? They could care less and it shows. Every time I go to the Walgreens pharmacy in Oldsmar to pick up my medications, the pharmacy tech (any pharmacy tech) is visibly agitated, appears to hate their job, and speaks to you as if you have annoyed them incessantly and are disrupting them from doing something more important. Oh, and if they try to push you off to their mobile or online application, you are in for yet another disappointment. I use the mobile application regularly to submit refill requests, follow-up on refill status, and even pre-pay for my meds before heading to the pharmacy. Over the last 3-6 months, my refill requests "aren't going through," I've had automatic refills of prescriptions that I have never requested, and I've even received "phantom" status updates to pick up my medication - however when I arrive the pharmacy has "never received" my refill request. I literally cannot hold a full-time job without my medications. It appears it's time to take my healthcare needs to a pharmacy that actually cares about their customers. read more

Got in and out without a problem. I haven't had many food cravings since I've gotten pregnant (more like food aversions), but one craving I got struck by was bugles. I blame my husband. He came home one day with a bag of Munchies (which is a combo of Cheetos, doritos, pretzels, and sun chips). While I ate some I pondered you know what would make this better, bugles. I couldn't get the thought of bugles out of my head. Most of the time when I go to the grocery store I'm able to decide to be healthy and I'm not tempted to buy "bad" food. So I decided to forgo the bugles. That lasted about two days. I had to go to Earth Fare to get my beloved fresh mozzarella balls and, of course, being Earth Fare they didn't have bugles. Driving home I thought no I really want bugles and did a sharp turn into this Walgreens parking lot. I walked inside, went directly to the grocery section, and found my bugles. If they didn't have bugles my day would have gone a lot differently. I went and checked out with my one bag of bugles not needing a bag, looking like a complete stoner. It probably didn't help that I was in Disney leggings because I've forgotten how to dress since I work remote. The cashier made a joke about bugles being finger food. Honestly, she could have been a stoner herself if I'm making a completely superficial judgment. Either way, we shared a mutual understanding about how bugles are the food of the gods. I paid and I left. The other things I noticed about this Walgreens is it is a bit rundown, but I definitely wasn't shopping there for the décor. The bugles were $2.99. I literally have no idea how much they cost other places since normally I do not eat bugles, but there you go in case you have any idea. I got what I needed and nothing bad happened to me. This Walgreens is great. It's no wonder I spend a lot of money here. (Probably should cut back on that...) The associates here are some of the best I've come across, and they're always happy to help. On top of that, they usually have the cosmetics counter open to handle any overflow of customers. The cashiers here are very good about asking you for your Balance Rewards Card (Walgreens' loyalty program) and many times they've given me a heads up on coupons I can use for items they've seen me purchasing. There's also a Redbox at this location, so a lot of times I'll grab a movie and then go inside and get some snacks from Walgreens to make it a movie night at home. Also, for those of you who don't mind waiting for a good deal, hit up Walgreens the day after a holiday. Most of their holiday items will be 50% off! read more

I had a bad customer service experience today, and it will be my last visit to Walgreens. I had my items and was going to get in line in the cosmetics department, but she was helping someone, and so I went to the front of the store, where an older woman was at work checking out people. There were two women behind her, and so I looked for other options. I noticed a man standing by the register in the photo department. I approached and asked him if I could check out there (I would have been fine had he said no), but he said "Sure. I'll open up over there (near the main front register." As I walked over and he followed he said, "I'll take the next person in line". *Wait a minute. I went and asked you to check me out and you tell me you will take someone other than the customer that got you? Okay. Stay with me.* I didn't say a word, but waited in the line where the older woman was checking out customers, waiting on him to say he would then take me. What does he do after he checked out the woman? Wait for it...wait for it... HE WALKED AWAY. Yes, he walked back to the photo department and didn't look in my direction. Who does that?! Normally I would have said something, but it didn't seem worth it. If he didn't have the customer service skills to say "Ma'am I will take you now", then he probably wouldn't have had the skills to handle my complaint like a professional. The sad part is that this was one of my favorite stores, but CVS and Target are directly across the street. When there are other options, learn how to treat customers. read more

This walgreens is closest to my house. They always have great deals especially on coke which I happen to drink all the time. The pharmacy is usually quick at filling scripts unless they have to order the medicine. They carry just about anything you can think of. They also have aisles donated to As seen on tv items, toys and books for kids, holiday items, pet needs. There photo center is great they can turn any picture into a mug,calender,t shirt etc. They also have the machine for you to put your card in and pick what pics you want and print them.
