Absolutely terrible. Came in for one thing and somehow spent $37. The store is basically a maze, the prices are fighting for their lives, and the receipt was long enough to be used as a condom for my penis. Would not recommend unless you enjoy financial damage and walking 14 laps around the store looking for toothpaste. The pharmacy here is horrible. They do not answer the phone so to refill an order you must do it online. If your order requires extra information they do nothing, they don't call the dr for a refill they simply let it sit there. Leave a message for them they do nothing. No return phone call, will call dr to refill. Unless you physically go to the pharmacy and speak with them, they will not do their jobs. Totally impractical to get a prescription filled here. read more

Had a bad experience today. Customer service was very rude. Wanted to ask her a question and she replied. I am on my break ! Really. You cant even answer a question for me. So inconsiderate. Then I spoke to the person behind the counter and he couldn't help so I asked to speak to the manager. His reply was. Thats who you just spoke with. Wow. Rude floor staff. Why was I singled out and told not to test products when I WASNT?? I was scanning barcodes on an app to check the ingredients due to allergies. Not sure why I was singled out and embarrassed?? Meanwhile I actually had to go back to the store to return a lip product which when I got it home, it was opened!! Maybe the person on the floor needs to focus on people who are actually opening products. They lost a sale and I just went ahead with my return. This is why I shop online ! The Pharmacists are very nasty and lazy, dont want to be boithered. Do not expect customer service from these pharmacists. No way! They are rude and have no manners. One lady told me I had to wait at least an hour, when I asked why she said because I am on Narcotics!!! Everyone heard her, I was so embarrassed. When I told her I was Reporting her, she said , "Take your Best Shot" These are older people. No class no manners. And the entire pharmacy 9s just inefficient. They just don't care. This store is great for shopping bc there is never a line with the self check out. The pharmacy here is what the problems is. They never have enough people ringing and there is always a huge line! I started having my prescriptions delivered bc I could not stand coming in here. Save yourself the aggravation and have your prescriptions filled elsewhere. The worst pharmacy ever! They don't employ enough people.. right now I'm sick and waiting on a pharmacy with seven people in front of me .. I'm switching to a small mom and pop.. better service .. Ray the manager is rude and does not know how to handle irate customers he only makes it worse .. when I called 7 times this morning and got put on hold and then when someone did answer they hung up on me that's when I went to the manager who told me that well the Long Beach CVS close down so we're experiencing longer than usual delays no that wasn't the reason their computer systems were down.. did he not know isn't he the manager of the store shouldn't Cvs have provided more people in that store if other people were transferring their prescriptions from Long Beach especially now in this day and age it's a bunch of crap and so is Cvs!! read more

If I could rate this PHARMACY below one star I would. I went to the pharmacy to get a prescription filled at 10:15am, I was told it would take half an hour, which is fine for me, but it wasn't until I complained that my prescription was done close to 11:45am. The issue I am writing this review is because the technician didn't follow the order in the line and kept helping customers that arrived after me, and the pharmacist was not paying attention to the order in the line. read more

I have always liked this CVS not only because it's 24 hour but because it is: -always well stocked -well lit -always clean -has a helpful and knowledgeable staff -set up in a familiar/sensible way so you can find items easily -has a great pharmacy team (biggest plus) with professional pharmacists that give great and budget friendly suggestions for any small ailments Besides all of these great things about this CVS, there is also ample parking at all times and it is easy to get in and out of the parking lot off of Long Beach Road or two entrances off of Atlantic Avenue. Great 24-hour CVS location. Friendly, courteous, and skilled pharmacist working the late-night, who managed her customers very efficiently. I have to give lots of credit to someone who, when faced with customers needing medications urgently late at night, will take care of them first while making people wait who simply want to drop off a prescription for the following day because it's convenient for them to be there that evening. Clean and well-lit store with ample parking. I'll be coming back if I come down with something late at night again. read more

This CVS is not too busy in the morning. Staff is friendly. The store is clean and there is plenty of parking. There are 4 self checkout machines which is convenient. There is a Bethpage FCU ATM inside. Early in the morning when the sun comes up the sun glare is bad. I don't know why the windows are not tinted. read more

I am very upset by the way I was treated by a pharmacist over the phone!! I had a dosage question about a medication for my very sick 2 year old. I had a concern, b/c the dosage seemed high. Since it was so late, my options were limited as to whom I could call to get some advice. She refused to even let me ask the question and told me I had to speak with my Dr. There are plenty of other 24 hr pharmacies and I can say with certainty that I WILL NEVER USE THE OCEANSIDE 24hr CVS AGAIN!!!! read more

OK pharmacy that is open for 24hours. Unhelpful and occasionally nasty crew. Pharmacy has trouble billing correctly.Seems messy at times.

This is not specifically about Oceanside but rather all CVS stores I visited including Hewlett, Woodmere etc. The shelves are poorly stocked. When going in to shop you have about a 50% chance of finding what you want. Consider this along with their advertising. They advertise items that are rarely in stock making me waste my time by going in. Rain checks are good but I may need the product now. Finally their most recent advertising includes buying several products to get " extra bucks." Great idea but they never have all the products in stock making it impossible for me to earn those extra bucks. I went to several stores in the week and could not find both products in stock. This is deceptive to me. Don't bother to go there and waste your time especially since their regular prices are about 10-20% higher than other places read more

Complete inept and incompetent staff. Had a problem with my pain killer prescription which I know wasn't their fault. I dropped that prescription off at 9pm, was promised by the pharmacist that they would call my doctor in the morning, clear everything up and have it ready. Instead I was met with blank stares from a different staff whom lost my prescription. Mind you these are pain killers for having my bone drilled into. "Take aspirin" isn't what you want to hear. Excruciating pain for almost 24 hours and I am still met with incompetence and people who could care less. I've been coming here for years but will NEVER return. I Ordered photos online Sunday night to be delivered to the store. The email confirmation said the store would call me when they are delivered. By Friday I was getting worried my order didn't go through so I called. Rude 'kid' on the phone asked me my last name and put me on hold for a few minutes to come back on the line and day they don't have my pictures. I asked him how long it usually takes and the said he didn't know and that I should try later in the week (ummm it's Friday how late in the week should I try???). Checked my ups tracking number and saw they were delivered to the store 2 days ago and signed for by a man named Ray. I go into the store later that night and asked for my pictures once Kaitlyn rudely asked if I needed help after waiting by the photo counter for 10 min. She looked for the pictures and said she couldn't find them. She asked if I got a call saying they were ready to which I replied I have a delivery confirmation and she looked at me like OK BUT DID WE CALL YOU?? Isn't a ups delivery confirmation enough proof that they were delivered?? Another few minutes later she comes back with my pictures. No apologies, no I'm sorry for not looking harder or not calling you ....nothing. Just some more attitude as she rung me up. I spend more money in cvs each month than a normal person should and needless to day I won't be developing anymore pictures from them due to their lack of customer service and frowning workers. read more

The woman pharmacist named Anne Marie is very unprofessional and very rude . She filled a prescription of cream which comes in a tube.I have had this prescription filled for 3 years but it is the first time I had it filled at this location. She threw away the box which the cream always comes in and stuck the prescription label on a tube which was much to small to hold it .When I tryed to remove the label ,the whole tube was extremely sticky from the glue on the label and the metal that the tube comes in is very delicate and shouldn't be tampered with alot . I didn't think it was a good idea to start scrubbing it off. Anyway I tryed to complain to her effectively but she began reading me what she learned at school as well as being defensive saying that all her colleges from CVS are all wrong and she is right (very childish ).Then I called 2 other CVS's in Manhattan to check and both stated that the tube of cream should properly come in a box and the label should be on the box , not on the tube. I complained to the manager ,and he was as unhelpful and uncaring as it gets.I'm getting my money back and having it filled at the 56 street CVS on Lexington.They are nice and very accommodating.I do not have any faith in her ability as a pharmacist to present your prescription in the proper way or as someone who cares about customer satisfaction The manager was incompetent and lame. I have always loved this CVS. It is big and is OPEN 24 HOURS! I have gone here for nail polish at around midnight and I felt good about it haha. They have a great cosmetics selection and when I went there today in search of specific products, the employees came through. The young lady (if her boss is reading this she is the girl that is slim) that was working the beauty section directed me toward the brand I was looking for. When I asked her which eyeliner she would prefer she told me which helped me to choose. When I asked her a question about the how to use a product she didn't know the answer. She easily could have just said she didn't know, but instead she called over an employee that I assume is in charge of the makeup. This woman was able to help me and even after I got my answer and walked away she called me back to give me another helpful tip! What service!
