The pharmacy staff has consistently been friendly and helpful. My only reason for giving four stars instead of five is that wait times can get pretty long during busy hours. If you can, I recommend going later in the evening. Since they're open 24 hours, I usually pick up prescriptions at night, and it's much easier and less stressful. The store itself is clean and well organized. They also offer photo services, which has come in handy a few times, and there's a USAA ATM on site, which is convenient. One tip: definitely download the CVS app. There are always coupons available, and I've saved quite a bit with the 40% off offers and other deals. Overall, a reliable pharmacy that our family will continue to use.

The workers at Herold's Pharmacy actually care about their customers and it shows. Mary is the main pharmacist here. She's really sweet. Her and her husband own Herold's Pharmacy, this one in west ashley and the one in North Charleston. Robby is another pharmacist here. He's also nice. All the workers here are really nice. Just the fact that I know their names shows you how much more personal this pharmacy is with their customers. I come in about twice a month to get my prescriptions. Once a month, I get a shot administered here. It's nice that I get to come to a local pharmacy for this shot because they can usually take me right away. I just call ahead and tell them I'm coming. Other big name pharmacies won't even administer my shot. I'm so lucky to have a place like Herold's to go and get my shot administered with no extra fee. They have all the basics that you might want to buy at a pharmacy. They a can fill just about any prescription for you. There are nice people working there. It's a cute local pharmacy. Try them out. I know you won't be disappointed.

This is not the only time that this has happened when I've gotten to the pharmacy before 15 minutes before it closes and it's already closed. They say that the cash register turns off at 5:00 PM at this CVS at target. I've been with the CVS for many many years however I will be switching because I do not think the customer service is what it used to be. Back when Tom was the pharmacist, he truly cared about people. He also didn't yell your private information from where the pharmacist is standing in the back, looking at medication's, including your name, date of birth and your medication. I am in the healthcare in the stream of myself, and I do not believe that this adheres to HIPAA practices.

We were able to grab the essentials. The layout was a bit dodgy with where to locate certain items. But the space is quite spacious so you don't feel people are on top of you. There seemed to be technical difficulties at the self checkout based on some of the other customers who will either trying to scan items and/or pay. Not sure if it was just human error or a glitch but we waited a few minutes at the front of the queue for people to figure their stuff out. Still, we bought what we needed and this CVS was the only one that was close enough from the hotel we stayed and where we were going.

My husband and I frequently talk about how incredible it is that we have a local pharmacy in our neighborhood (walking distance for us) with excellent customer service and real people who give us great advice. I've used Walgreens and CVS for so long that I'm used to long waits, unhelpful and impatient pharmacists, and navigating the robot when you try to get in touch with someone about your prescriptions. At this pharmacy, they take 5-10 minutes to fill a prescription, and if there are questions or issues, you can call or text to talk to a real person. And every time they are helpful, patient, and kind. I love that you can get walk in vaccinations too. I recently visited a walk in clinic and needed prescriptions after Park Circle Pharmacy was closed. I dreaded doing so, but I had to send my scripts to a CVS. Immediately I started having issues - no response from CVS, their phone line claiming they were closed, etc. They were nice enough when I arrived, but I didn't get them at the end of the day. The next morning, I got them transferred to Park Circle Pharmacy, and they filled it in 5 minutes with no trouble and they helped me navigate a weird prescription order issue over several phone calls. I'm glad that I'm a relatively healthy person, but I sleep well at night knowing that if I needed a lot of prescriptions, Park Circle Pharmacy would have my back!

Upon calling them i was informed that YES they do have the medication my child needs but since I'm not an existing customer they will not fill his prescription for me. WOW. Nothing says great customer service like saying Yes we have what you need, but you're not important enough to be served my us. Thanks a lot.
