I recently had another wonderful experience at my local CVS Pharmacy on University Ave., and I truly cannot say enough good things about this store and its team. The pharmacy staff -- including the pharmacists and technicians -- are consistently professional, knowledgeable, and kind. A special thank you to the pharmacy manager, Jasper Wolfe, who truly goes above and beyond in managing my Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, Arthritis, and high cholesterol medications. He takes the time to carefully review my prescriptions, check for potential drug interactions, and provide thoughtful guidance on over-the-counter products. Jasper is always helpful, informative, caring, and compassionate. What stands out even more is how proactive he is in helping me save money. He searches for manufacturer's coupons and adds them directly to my profile so I can benefit from the savings. He helped me get the Veoyah card for my hot flashes. The prescription is $700 per month but with insurance, my monthly co pay is $75 per month. With Jasper's help my Veozah prescription costs me only $30per month. Today, Jasper helped me to save $25 on my Ozempic monthly prescription. In today's economy, that level of attention and care is deeply appreciated. The front store team is equally impressive. The employees are consistently positive and helpful, making sure I know about sales and reminding me when I can apply my ExtraBucks. The store itself is always clean, well-stocked, and welcoming. The front entrance is beautifully decorated with the latest holiday theme and live plants. Lottery is also sold at this location. There is plenty of parking in the front and the side of the store. This store also has a drive thru which is really helpful and convenient. This is hands down my favorite CVS store in South Carolina. I am grateful for the exceptional service and genuine care I receive every time I visit. I highly recommend. The store seemed well organized and had the essential drug store items like tooth paste, mouth wash, baby wipes ect. They had a large hair care selection and seemed to be well stocked of natural hair products. The store was not crowded and check out was a breeze. This location is in a high traffic area so getting in and out may be challenging during morning or evening rush hour. FYI read more

Cvs Has the worst automated phone for your medications, I went in to pick up my medication they gave me one and I said will the doctor call in doctor called in for they said we don't have it for the next 11 days straight I get a call your doctor filled your prescription I call in they said we don't have a prescription for you. I have even blocked their number to stop the phone calls and I still they're able to leave you a message and they fill up your message Box. My wife has gone in and talk to him about it and they tell her well sometimes it takes a week for the message autumn is the message automator to pick up any changes. So unless you like getting your phone Box filled up with their stupid messages or you want to make trips in because they said they have medication at CVS I'm stopping any business with them. read more

This CVS is quite the busy one and it doesn't appear they are able or have the process needed to be more organized. There was no parking because of how busy it was and people were parking in handicapped spots that didn't have a placard. I know that is not under CVS control just trying to make the point. There is, also, a COVID testing site taking up about five spots in the front of the store. Once you are inside there is someone checking people in for, I assume, the Minute Clinic and the line literally blocked the door. Pretty difficult to enforce social distancing with that and people waiting in line all down the isles. I wouldn't have even written a review except when I walked up to the registers the self check out was already full but I was looked straight in the eye by the cashier and she continued to talk with two other co-workers. read more

The pharmacist at this location is the most rude unpleasant unprofessional employee I've ever encountered! He is disrespectful has no patience with customers and honestly I felt sorry for the staff that was working with him. I'll find another pharmacy before I ever come back to this location. read more

Absolutely the worst since 2020. Never have my prescription on hand. My dosage is one a day for 30 days. I cannot reorder until it's due. Then they don't have it and have to order it. I don't get for 3 days. So, I'm without. That's criminal. read more

Absolutely horrible. The hospital sent over a prescription for a nebulizer and albuterol. I called and spoke to the Pharmacy, Mark, who said my prescriptions would be ready in 10minutes. So I get there 30minutes later and pay for my prescriptions, but I notice there's no nebulizer. I tell the lady and she says you need a prescription and I say I have one and Mark confirms this, but then they tell me they have none. I ask how am I supposed to take the meds they just filled for me and they said I would have to go somewhere else for one. During this whole time I'm short of breath and am barely able to stand. So I put the meds on the counter and left. Horrible service. read more

They have a really good selection of different items and that you one item that you really need. The worst customer service ever. I went there to do a money gram to pay a bill and the person made up excuses to not have to do it. She said I needed a bar code for her to scan and I've contacted the money gram company and there is no bar code needed. She was just being lazy and rude. read more

I went to the CVS Pharmacy today. No patients were waiting in the wait area. I walked over to the pharmacist and ask how do I get a second booster . She said go on line at CVS.com. This whole process is beyond ridiculous. Time after time I gave them my cell phone number and they kept asking for it over and over again. My friends and I are elderly. Most have no computers.
