This was once a great place with great customer service, but no more! I've noticed in the past 6…read moremonths how this store has consistently failed to deliver the product as in years past. Today was the last straw. Drove up to the drive-thru to pick up prescriptions. I was the only one in line. At the window I saw workers moving about but no one addressed me, in other words a simple "we're busy but will be with you shorty", etc... I pressed the call button several different times over the course of 20 minutes. Finally a lady come to the window, pick up the phone and leaves. I press the call button again. A man comes to the window, holds his hand up to his ear as if he's talking on the phone, shrugs his shoulders and walks off. I'm throughly confused. I press the call button again, the same man returns, mimics talking on his hand phone. So I motion that I don't know what he wants me to do. He finally gets a ballpoint pen and writes a note, holds it to the window as if I could actually see this fine print. Again i motion that I don't understand. He opens the draw and sends the message out to me, saying the phones are down. Well I'm no genius but if I'm working in a customer service area of a business like Walgreens and the phones suddenly stop working, I'd write a note on a piece of paper, in bold enough print that could easily be seen by customers in the drive-thru, or I'd have that small note ready to pass through the drawer. Altogether I was 25 minutes picking up prescriptions and I was the only one in line. Unbelievable! Unacceptable! Needless to say, I'll be I'll be switching pharmacies...

I always stop at this store even though there is one closer to where I take my son for his therapy…read moretreatments. Like this one better because of the people who work there. They are always friendly and helpful. I've never yet asked a question and had the person say, "just a minute, I'll find out." They have always had the right answer. This store has the items I use, and they are never out of them. They are the only Walgreens in Sioux City that does. And how do I know that?? Checked them out. Three thumbs up here.

Online will not update the phone number ( it updates but the store does not recognize it) and she had to call a manager for the manager to tell her she could and told her how, then she told she knew she could just didn't know how. The pharmacist should have caught this if they were monitoring the prescriptions they fill. They should have contacted the doctor and checked to see if this was the doctors intention. So I wouldn't count on Walgreens pharmacists to protect you from conflicting drug issues if I were you.
