Five stars for reminding me what life must have been like before businesses figured out how to stagger lunch breaks. Apparently, CVS has discovered the one business model that nobody else in America has thought of: just close the entire pharmacy for 30 minutes and hope no one needs medication during that time. Meanwhile, hospitals, grocery stores, banks, restaurants, and just about every other business somehow manage to let employees eat without locking the doors. To be clear, the employees absolutely deserve a lunch break. They should take one. The problem is the policy that forces every customer to rearrange their day because CVS can't staff a pharmacy the way nearly every other business does. If you're planning to pick up a prescription, make sure you schedule your illness around CVS's lunch break. read more

This is my neighborhood CVS, and while it's not the shiniest location I've ever been to, it's easy-to-access and the pharmacists are all friendly. I've never had any issues with orders here - and they're usually pretty quick if you give them a call and let them know you need your prescription that day. However, recently we've been getting all of our CVS orders delivered! If you're not a member of CVS ExtraCare Plus - let this be your sign to look into it. For a one-time annual payment of around $40, you can get free same-day delivery for your prescriptions, along with a monthly $10 reward and all sorts of other perks. It's a service I never knew I needed ... and now I use it regularly! If you are visiting this store in-person, be advised that the pharmacy lunch break is strictly 1:30-2 PM. I've been caught by this before - and try to avoid stopping by in the afternoon if I can help it. read more

During our visit from out of town, my husband got a severe ear infection and knowing that we had to fly, our doctors office in Idaho had called over to this pharmacy and spoke with Cindy the pharmacist on the night of 12/22/25 as it was the closest pharmacy open at that time and the need to start antibiotics asap, my husband then got in an Uber being in as much pain as he was in paid eight dollars each way for transportation of course when he had arrived approximately 15 minutes before closing, he was told that they never received that prescription. The following morning at approximately 9:20 AM he got an automated call from this pharmacy stating that his prescription was ready for pick up, I called and left a voice message requesting a pharmacy manager to call me back, which never happened. As soon as we were able, we took another Uber to this pharmacy to pick up the medication. I had also called our doctors office to verify if it was faxed in the night before or called in and who our nurse spoke to, she had told me that she had called it in the night before at approximately 6:45 and spoke with the pharmacist by the name of Cindy! This tells me that people do not want to do their job and don't care about their customer service or pain that someone may be suffering, because it was close to closing time! I am a nurse and we had extended our stay to get antibiotics going so that we don't chance a ruptured eardrum while flying, this is very very poor customer service! DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PHARMACY AND THE PHARMACIST NAMED CINDY NEEDS TO HAVE SOME COMPASSION FOR PATIENTS AND LEARN TO DO HER JOB APPROPRIATELY!!!! I would give negative stars if I that was an option! read more

Nowhere for customers to park the entire parking lot is filled with patrons from the bars across the street and paying customers have nowhere to even park. They do NOTHING to enforce the parking. read more

The drive through is painfully slow and when you finally get to the window they make you wait more. I'm on visit number 5 and I still don't have my prescription. The staff doesn't seem to understand the system. My prescription was lost twice! The only competent pharmacist I've seen was Sarah, everyone else had no idea what was going on. You need patience to come here. read more

Pharmacy staff at this location doesn't care if you live or die. Always understaffed and use it as an excuse to force you through the drive through instead of being able to go inside and refused to give me the flu shot and covid booster (even when I get constantly hounded by the app to drop in, "walk-ins welcome!" because there's not enough staff. Waited 40 minutes in the pharmacy drive thru line on Sunday (inside was closed for some reason) just for them to tell me my prescription was not ready, when they had told me Friday it would be ready Saturday morning (when it should have been ready Friday in the first place). The man at the window asked me to spell my last name three times (it's a five letter last name) and seemed very confused. When I went Friday, a different man at the window had incorrectly told me the prescription was not ready to be refilled, which is why I had to make another trip. Very irritated that this one prescription has cost me three (and counting) separate trips to cvs. read more

Nashville has some of the WORST CVS pharmacies I've ever been to and this one makes the list. Slow / doesn't refill called in prescriptions until you call yourself / will leave prescriptions that are ready in the shelf without a call or notification on the CVS app / disrespectful. read more

Literally the worst CVS pharmacy I have ever been to. Every single time I have visited this pharmacy it has been ridiculously slow service. I got a call on February 2nd that I had a prescription that was ready for pick up. So I went two days later to pick that prescription up and the pharmacist told me there was no prescription for me and that a call was never placed to me telling me i had one ready for pick up. Absolutely ridiculous. I would rather drive 30 minutes in the wrong direction and visit a different CVS then I would ever go back to this CVS. read more

Zero stars. The link the pharmacy sent, sent me to a location 20 miles away. I finally get there, and they tell me it will be "a hour". Huh? Okay. Whatever. I wait for an hour, in their parking lot, to be told "another hour". WTF!? Sorry we have no help....blah blah, FINE, then DONT TELL ME IT WILL BE AN HOUR!!!! I'm not usually one to complain. Especially during this pandemic. But word of advice. It would be smart to show that your location is closed on DoorDash. I placed a $50 order only for it to be canceled because the store is closed. Now I have to wait 5-7 for a refund ON CHRISTMAS MORNING! read more

Worst Pharmacy I have ever been to. I have been going to this pharmacy with no problems for over a year and everything was fine until recently. I'm not sure if they got a new pharmacist in the last few months, but when I went to pick up my prescription today (same prescription that I've been getting there for over a year), the Pharmacist refused to fill my prescription because it was prescribed in another state other than TN (prescription has always been from another state). I was told he could override this PERSONAL decision to not fill it, but was not going to. I called another CVS in Nashville and they said they would fill the prescription they just need my Dr to send it to their specific location tomorrow. Thankful for the other CVS that will fill my prescription but super unfortunate that the CVS located on Gallatin Ave is not willing to take care of their customers and has a pharmacist that makes personal decisions to not fill a valid prescription from a loyal customer. read more

Needed to have headshots ordered and printed and CVS with a photo section was definitely the cheapest option. I live up on Dickerson and this store on Gallatin was the closest one with a photo center. I set up the order online, (luckily) selected to pay at the store, and was guaranteed online they'd be ready by 11 am the next day. Awesome! But upon arrival, none of the photo paper is in the machine, yet I am assured someone is on their way to reload it. An hour passes I go grab lunch, I come back and the lady fixing the problem is still yet to make it... I browse around and she finally arrives, and one of the employees informs her that I've been waiting etc. You guys, it takes this woman 20 minutes to realize she got the wrong paper.... I told them I had been waiting on these photos for 3 hours total and I was tired of waiting... So I said just forget it. Kind of felt like I might've been on a prank show or something, as if they were trying to push me... I had to reschedule my meeting for the day (which the photos were for) because this store just can't quite get it together. I probably won't get there again, I'll be heading to Walgreens... And I still get automated calls that my order is ready! Blah. read more
