CVS Pharmcy, Moore, Oklahoma - Pharmacist - Trish Hoping to not have to stop using CVS, but the Moore, Oklahoma store on 4th Street has really shaken my loyalty! Suki (my Epileptic English Bulldog) has to take Keppra & Phenobarbitol daily (she takes 2 Keppra's & 1 Phenobarbitol). I used CVS in Garl&, Texas since 2022 & moved to Quitman, Texas in 2023 & began using the CVS in Mineola, Texas. I loved the staff at the Mineola, Texas location. They were always (dealt with several different members of their Pharmacy) nice & professional. My vet could call in Suki's Phenobarbitol prescription without any issues & each month, I would drive to pick up her script. Recently I moved to Moore, Oklahoma. I called my vet & asked her if she could call in Suki's script to the CVS here in Moore (I had just drove down to Texas with my 3 English Bulldogs for their yearly checkup & shots) & she said sure, she could call in Suki's Phenobarbitol script in. My vet attempted to call in Suki's script & was met with a very rude pharmacist who told them she refused to take the script over the phone & told them they MUST mail in a paper script & did not give them any reason for her dem&. My vet called me & let me know what she said & let me know they would mail me a script to take in. I received the paper script a few days later in the mail. I headed into the Moore, Oklahoma CVS Pharmacy & went in to the counter with the paper script. The employee who was originally helping me was kind & I let her know my vet had been told she could not call the script in for my dog & so I had the paper script & brought it physically in to make sure there would not be any issues as the medication was for my dog's Epilepsy. The pharmacy employee began reviewing the script & I let her know I had previously been using the CVS in Mineola, Texas & she was able to find it & began trying to enter the script into the system & was having some issues. She looked over at a lady who walked up (she didn't introduce herself at all or even acknowledge me) & looked at the paper script for less then 20 seconds when she abruptly & rudely said, "No, we can't file this". When I asked why she stated there was an Oklahoma Law that prohibited them from filling a script from another state. I was in total shock as THIS IS NOT WHAT my Vet had been told when she had tried to call this script in a week before & talked to this Pharmacy! I was quite upset & asked the Pharmacist & the employee for their corporate number & the Pharmicist, Trish, stated she didn't know it & that I could go look it up! After close to an hour on the phone, I had made a complaint on Trish & secondly had an incident opened with their Corporate Pharmacy Division. I do believe this Pharmacist may have lied to me regarding the "Oklahoma Law" reason she gave me for not filling the script as I googled it & could not find any laws about a vet in Texas writting a script to be filled in Oklahoma. Also, the Corporate Pharmacy team did inform me that Trish did not make any notes on Suki's file about there being an Oklahoma Law as her reason for refusing to fill the script. She did enter a note on the file in their system with the reason being something about the paper the script was written on. This is what the Corporate Customer Service person told me, which makes zero sense because she NEVER said anything like this to me when she was rudely refusing to fill the script! I have a case/incident number with the Corporate Pharmacy Division of CVS & am waiting on their response. If this pharmacist lied to me, I sure hope they take very strong action so that she doesn't do this to another of their customers! I have been using CVS for years & until now have loved the experience & I want to continue to use them, but need Suki's script filled very soon as she requires this medication to ensure she does not have Seizures! Sure hope CVS Corporate does the right thing & very soon as I don't want to have to take my business to a different company, but will have to as Suki' must have her medication! In addition, I sure hope they take proper action with regards to Trish (employees like her can run a lot of Loyal Customer's off causing great companies like CVS to loose out on years of customer loyalty)! read more

Waiting for four days for an out-of-stock item. Every day the app says "Pick it up tomorrow". Today, day four, it tells me to come pick it up. At the window, they tell me it's out of stock. Really? They have no idea what's going on. Now the app says pick it up in three more days. Nope, by that time I will have moved all my business to a local pharmacy, which I should have done all along. read more

Depends on day and time of day. Good service some times. Other times can be a bigger challenge to get served in the pharmacy.

There is an obvious reason as to why this location has a 2.0 rating. It only took me one brief phone call to learn that. My doctor sent my prescription to the CVS on 19th. I received the email that it was filled a couple of days ago. I pull in to pick up & there is a note on the window that says "we've moved" & to call the location on 4th. I call & get a man on the phone. While I'm mid-sentence asking if this location on 19th is simply not open today or permanently closed, he cuts me off to tell me that they're permanently closed & immediately asks for my name & date of birth. Mid-sentence giving him my name & date of birth, he cuts me off again to say, "Did you say you want to go to another pharmacy?" So I sat there in silence for a moment, absolutely stunned that's he's interrupted me twice now within a 60 second time frame. The second time to basically shoo me to a different pharmacy. After a moment of silence I kindly & calmly repeated my name & date of birth. He asks what the prescription is. I tell him. He then proceeds to tell me that they can't transfer my prescription, my doctor will have to send it again. So I ask, even though they already sent it & filled it at this CVS location that is now closed? He responds, yeah they'll have to send it again. At this point I stopped responding & disconnected the call because it's too early to deal with peoples attitudes this morning. I understand that the prescription has to be sent again. That's frustrating, but not his fault. His attitude & tone, is. I work in customer service & if someone on my team ever spoke to a customer this way, we would be having a conversation. This conversation could have gone totally different & he's lucky it was with me because from personal experience, I'm sure anyone else would popped off on him. Please do better. read more

Slow - like they think we have to come here slow. I haven't had a good experience at this CVS yet. Today the inside is shut down and the drive thru is the only part of the pharmacy open. How irritating. read more

Ick! We just picked up our prescriptions through the drive thru at CVS on 4th Street. The pharmacy staff (mature woman with long hair) removed her mask repeatedly (at least four times) during our brief encounter. The most disconcerting part was when she removed her mask, wiped her nose, and then swiped our HSA debit card. Ewww!!! This is absolutely unacceptable behavior in a healthcare worker!!! She needs basic education in hygiene as well as Covid-19 awareness training! Seriously, though... even in non-pandemic times - using your bare hand to wipe your nose and then taking someone's debit card? I expect better of people! After VERY irritating issue with Walgreens down the street, I want into CVS to see if I could get a Covid booster shot Pharmacist was courteous. But I had my old Medicare card. He took the time to look up the new one and give me the new number so I could make an appointment. I didn't buy anything that trip but will switch over. Esp since CVS is now with tricare. Seems as tho some of these negative remarks are years old. Shouldn't there be a sunset on some of them? Surely they've changes staff and practices by now read more

So i just came from the urgent care to this location with my wife who was seen and needed her prescriptions. The urgent care sent them before we left. When we got there we received two prescriptions but didn't notice we were missing a third until we were in the car. The most important prescription of all was missing! So we went back in and asked what happened and they said they didn't have it but it would be in tomorrow! Well naturally you might think that that would have been something nice to know in the first place but not to CVS! It must have been too close to closing time (it was 8:00 they close at 9). We told them to send the prescription to Walgreens but when we got to Walgreens and the pharmacist called them to have it switched they HUNG UP on him!!! Eventually he got them back on the phone and lo and behold guess what? Walgreens had everything we needed. We subsequently switched all of our info to Walgreens and will therefore NEVER walk into this CVS again read more

Without my knowledge or consent, my EpiPen prescription was dispensed as an off brand multi-step injector. I now carry an expired EpiPen instead of the multi-step auto injector because an expired epi is a better option than the multi step unit. My life is worth more than the $65 out of pocket cost differential! Shame on you for not allowing me to choose! read more

This is a horrible pharmacy. They never seem to know what's going on. I'm not sure if they are understaffed or what but it's just horrible. If you come to this pharmacy be prepared to wait a while for your order. They are so slow but like I said earlier I'm not sure if they are understaffed or something. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere. read more

Couldn't fill prescription for a week and a half but promised it everyday. Should've sent it off to mail order refill as it would've came in sooner. Then husband tried to get a flu shot and after waiting 20 min still could not get them to give paperwork to fill out. Poor service! read more

I have had great service from this CVS. They have a huge business, with 400 to 450 prescriptions filled each day. Just look behind the counter. Although there maybe 4 or 5 people in-line, the service is prompt, professional, friendly and knowledgeable. They have answered any question I asked. I would not hesitate recommending them to anyone. read more
