Not only is the coffee fresh, but the quality is outstanding as well.. the staff there is always friendly and helpful. They are always happy to see you and run the store like a whale oil machine so that even when the store is busy, the lines move quickly and you can be in and out in a flash, one thing that deserves mention is their pizza. You can order a large pizza and have it prepared and baked fresh in about four minutes. They have a special oven that makes it as if it were a specialty store so the crust comes out bubbly and the cheese and pepperoni are cooked to perfection. I see people eating lunch there all the time bobbing their heads up and down in approval as if they are surprised by how good the pizza tastes. I personally think it rivals the best pizza joints in town. I have been to many convenience stores in the past, but this is the only one I go to now. They clearly deserve the five stars.

And if they don't have it, you can let them know and they'll try to get it in stock for you. Even though it's a small shop, it's well organized and the staff is usually around to help you or spark up conversation. The only down side is because it's a convenience store (basically), the items are a smidge higher than what you might pay at Walmart or Tom Thumb. Again, you're paying for convenience so it's a trade off.

This might be the highest tech gas station I have ever been in. And I have been to a Buc-ee's, Wawa, and even Sheetz and yes this one would bear them all based on sheer technological advancement. It even just looks sleek from the outside, and I swear everything machine in the store was touch screen and just probably way more upscale than a gas station really needs to be. But, this did make it way more entertaining simply to walk in and see everything. They do also have a taco restaurant/ fast food type deal on one side as well. The worker who checked us out was quite nice. It's often said they do everything bigger and better in Texas, and this 7-Eleven takes that very seriously. Now I can say I've been to the fanciest gas station of them all.

We were looking for somewhere to eat and saw a bunch of cars in their parking lot and decided to try it - a very good move. They are a in a modest setting (classic Taqueria), but the food was fantastic. We ordered a tacos of al pastor & lengua, 4 birria tacos, 3 gorditas - 2 of lengua and one of chorizo, along with a chile toreado and 2 Topo Chicos. The had a mild green sauce and a spicier orange sauce along with a bowl of pickled jalapenos, carrots and onions on the table (see photos). While the tacos were good, what really stood out were the gorditas - they may be the best ones I have ever had. They almost looked like they were grilled but they were fried they were not fooling around - just onions, cilantro, & the meat that you picked inside. Outstanding! (I later find out that they make their own chorizo). The birria - queso tacos were also excellent, but the consume (dipping sauce) was fantastic. It had a bit of onions and cilantro, and it was just a little bit spicy - not greasy at all. Value wise, this place rocked. The tacos were $2.19, birria sold in either 3 ($9.99) or 4 ($12.99). The gorditas were also sold 3 at a time for $9.59 or $10.99 depending on your meat selection. The service was also great! We dined in and they brought menus and took our orders and asked us several times if we needed anything. This place also has a Mexican Market and Butcher shop where they make their own chorizo, milanesa's, and cecina. The quality of the meat looked very good so we bought a couple of pounds to try it. If you like authentic Mexican Taquerias, you need to give El Primo a try.
