Pharmacy closed before 8 o'clock and I wasn't able to get my prescription before my surgery.

Whoa, I'm shocked by the negative review on this location. I've been going here since 2011 and have never had a bad experience with any of the staff. They are usually well stocked, willing to help me find something in the store, and it's always been clean and well-kept. I think the worst thing to happen to me was that the pharmacy was busy and I had to wait a while for something, which happens at pretty much every pharmacy everywhere, and they were not rude about it at all. I've had nothing but good experience with this CVS, the staff are amazing, they always provide acknowledgment and assistance. The store is always clean, easy to find items, and very well organized. The cashiers are always talkative, it's never an awkward silence when checking out. They also let you know if there's deals going on, and offer the red card if you don't already have one. I've also had staff members assist with couponing if I have the wrong one, they either help me out as one time courtesy or they point me in the right direction towards which products it's for. I've also used their pharmacy plenty, they are very nice, always friendly even when it's packed. They always inform you on how you should take your medication and anything you'd like to ask about your medication, they very well trained and educated on the medication. They also give reminders for refills. Overall, really nice people here that communicate with you, and help if you need it. They always offer assistance before I've came to look for them. They also are always stocked with the item I need, I've never ran into any out of stock items. read more

The pharmacist at this location is very good. The entire pharmacy staff at this location are consistently helpful and friendly too. My only problem with CVS is there seems to often be a long line inside and waiting in the drive through lane too. But this isn't the staff's fault, it would just be nice if CVS Corp. had a more efficient process at all their locations. read more

Went in to pickup a prescription for my sick wife that had been sent in 2 hours previously and still wasn't ready. Waited for it to be ready for another 30 minutes and the lady at the front was rude. If only they had a negative star!! This CVS pharmacy does not even deserve 1 star!! The window technician's have to be the rudest individual's ever. Consistently, the service at the window and even inside leaves much to be desired. Unfortunately, CVS is what I am forced to use with my insurance. If I had a choice it would not be CVS and it would not be this 2313 W. University store. The managers at this location need to hire people with social skills not a$$holes ! You would think the educated Pharmacist would request customer friendly individual's but apparently they don't give a damn either. read more

I always have a good experience when shopping at this location. All of the staff are super friendly, they always carry what I'm looking for, and some of the more surprising items are less expensive than at other stores. The main reason I go to this store is because I have an older dog who sometimes will go to the bathroom inside if I'm not home to let her out (I think she does it on purpose now, but just plays the "I'm old" card). CVS carries their own line of pet products which include puppy pads. I know, interesting item to buy from a CVS. They are so much cheaper than any other store you go to besides Sam's. It's about $10 for a 50 pack and $18 for a 100 pack. Most places want to charge you at least 3 dollars more for a lesser product. Plus at CVS you know you'll always have coupons to use. CVS' product is one of the best we have had to use. Okay, besides talking about my dog's potty pads, let me also tell you that they always have my personal grooming products in stock. I've rarely had to go elsewhere for my shampoo and conditioner, curl cream, shaving cream, and other products similar to this. If that ever does happen, I go to the CVS on Central Expressway. Like I said, the staff here is super nice. They always remember me. I've never had a bad experience with anyone who works here. They'll help you get in and out quickly. read more

I am in this CVS all the time. Sometimes the lines are long, but they always call someone up to help. I have had nothing but friendly service. The pharmacy is especially good. All of the people who work back there are helpful and kind. read more

CVS brand nasal decongestant is worthless, yet they tout it as the same as the national brands. They LIE! Don't fall for the hype, and it is not the same, pay the extra money and stick with the national brands. Spend the extra time and buy the nasal decongestant from BEHIND the counter and not the cheap knock off. Don't trust the Pharmacy staff, they will are paid to sell the store brand because CVDS makes more money. read more

I have shopped this location plenty of times, today was interesting so either new people or management has changed. Could be it is the day or the shift. I met a clerk who thought he was a Neanderthal ( grunting & pointing) I gave smiles and talk but he would not change. So that leaves me to downgrade the courtesy or friendliness of the staff. If managers reads this this - do your own homework, send in a corporate mystery shopper. Perhaps my patronage means more to Walgrens. read more

This is simply a wonderful store with a mangement team that knows how to take care of their customers and their own people. I cannot say enough on how good the pharmacy is and the wonderful people that work there. They always exceed my expectations and always have prescriptions done ahead of time. The pharmacist Sudheer is awesome. Really the entire team is too. Also, the front end people in the store are awesome too. And someone is always willing to help you find what you need. The store on 75 and Virginia could learn a lot from this store. That one is terrible and I'd never go there again. read more

Got to be the worst run pharmacy ever. Most unprofessional staff, quick to blame others especially ones Dr. For not sending a prescription. Today was my last time to suffer through such incompetency. Even had documentation from my Drs. Office when my prescription was emailed in, needless to say, I got several deer eyes in the headlights expressions at the same time .
