As others have noted, this is a super old Walgreens operating with limited hours and staff. That…read moresaid, I came in here with a terrible headache needing some Tylenol, so this store served its purpose as far as I was concerned. I easily found what I needed and checked out, though I did notice that many of the shelves were bare, so if you're coming in here for something more specific than a general OTC pain reliever you may be out of luck. The store was hot and stuffy, not sure if the AC was working properly or not. I checked out with no issue and went on my way. Can't say I'd recommend this location but if you need something general in a pinch, this is probably a fine option.

This store is disgraceful. It looks like it hasn't been up dated since the 1960s, and the air…read moreconditioning hasn't worked all year (it didn't work last year either). They have giant loud machines blowing hot air out of the store and into the main walk in area. The worst thing is the pharmacy recently closed for several days with no advance notice or preparation. Walgreens claims they cannot transfer any medications that were called in have been filled. No one is allowed back in the pharmacy area - including the manager. Apparently they are unable to find a pharmacist - so they simply decided to close the pharmacy for several days, instead of having a pharmacist come over for 2 to 4 hours from Riverhead and transfer the medications to another store. This is one of the worst managed stores I have seen, and Walgreens is making no effort to correct the situation. The employees look miserable because customers are upset and they are unable to help them. Sadly Walgreens does not understand or value Customer Service, and they are decades away from any digital transformation that we all see with every other pharmacy.

Waiting Room: A Cleanliness: A…read moreReceptionist/Nurses: A++ Scheduling: B- Overall Rating: A ------------------------- I was very skeptical to book an appointment with Dr. Fierro because I was afraid that I would be subjected to, well, quackery. The practice of functional medicine is not well regulated in the United States, and many of them are not medical doctors so you often do put yourself at risk when you book an appointment with one. This is really sad, because functional medicine can be extremly helpful, especially for chronic illness. With all of that said, Dr. Fierro IS a MD (Medical Doctor). Which means that not only was she trained in standard Western medicine, but she is able to write prescriptions, order lab work, and diagnose. Because she is trained in both functional and traditional western medicine, she uses both in her practice. I think this is how you get the best standard of case. I personally am on several supplement (which of course are not FDA regulated and perhaps wouldn't have been perscribed be a traditional doctor) but a Thyroid problem (diagnosed with blood work) was also discovered, so I'm on traditional medicine for that. Dr. Fierro also discovered I had lymes disease, again with blood work and she was able to prescribe me an antibiotic to get it out of my system. A functional medicine doctor with out the MD background may have had me do a detox tea or something, which wouldn't have worked. I stress that the thing that makes her so good is she has BOTH qualifications, and many people on Long Island don't. I highly suggest her to anyone who has felt like they've hit a brick wall with their medical regime. She really will spend the time with you and try to figure out what's causing your illness. Also, because she is an MD, you can use your insurance benefits. While I don't think she directly participates in any insurance plans, many insurances have out of network coverage. My health insurance reimburses me 80%.

When I first came upon this page, I thought I'd accidentally stumbled upon the wrong pharmacy. So…read moremany glowing reviews. Nothing but praise from my friends and family for Town Pharmacy. How is that my wife and I had the exact opposite experience as all these people have had? Well, when the owners of said business decide to sell it two weeks after you enroll your prescriptions. So basically, you can pretty much disregard all of the reviews up until November 2025, as they were posted under Town Pharmacy's previous family-owned front. I don't know who these new guys are, but this place is as hot of a mess as it gets. Nobody currently working here seems to have any idea what they're doing. They consistently get confused. I've called three times asking to have the same two prescriptions refilled and delivered to my home. Each time, nothing was done. In one instance, someone answered and asked me to "Call my doctor to get the ball rolling" while he worked on getting my order. Uhh...isn't that what I just called YOU to do? The venerable icing on the cake was one morning when my wife called to order her insulin. She was told it would be delivered same-day. Gets a callback a little time later: "Sorry, it's too dark out. Someone will come tomorrow." It was 4pm. My wife and I were left speechless. Until, and IF, this place gets its act together, I'd avoid this pharmacy. Already, reluctantly, in the process of moving my scrips to Walgreens.
