Manager Jason Lambert-- most horrible service ever. I went in today to get two balloons and a get well soon card. Maybe it's because of how I'm dressed? (Kinda bummy, urban wear, sweats and and beanie), I said hello! He looked at me with a very blank confused stare. I asked him where the get well cards were and he directed me. Upon going to the register, I asked for two get well soon balloons. Two staff members worked hard to try to find them for me. They looked through all of the boxes to no avail. They found a pack of regular balloons in a quantity of 15 and asked if I wanted to do the plain ones instead. I agreed. I asked how much and they said it's $5 to blow up each of the graphic ones. I said but these are plain, they usually are sold and blown up by the dozen or half dozen. The staff agreed and had to get the manager to approve. Once Jason Lambert came over, he was looking at me crazy and told me I had to get all 15 in the pack behind their counter or take one of the ones on display in the store. I had no choice but to have one of the deflated ones re-inflated. I feel like im the customer and what would've been wrong in just giving me 1/2 a dozen of the balloons from the litter instead of making no sale at all. He was kinda pretentious and condescending, never coming here again. Felt personal. Does everyone have to have all 15 inflated from the pickings behind the counter or just someone like...me? I'd understand if it was a pack of balloons In the aisle, but this was behind the counter in the pickings for inflation. Weird. Won't be back read more

I wasted 35 minutes waiting for a vaccine, after checking in on the app. There it says you're all checked in. Just waiting and then they are giving other people shots but never got to me. I go ask if I'm being called and they say you have to check in. What a big waste of precious time. It's why, while I use CVS for purchases, they always seem unorganised at the pharmacy. And they lady at the check in was unapologetic as if I did something wrong. They need to get the appt schedule together. I'll go somewhere else. It's no wonder they are having problems. read more

****COVID SPECIFIC REVIEW**** It's common knowledge that CVS is more of a rip-off than an Italian street vendor in a tourist town. Unless you're on deaths doorstep or have amazing coupons, you will want to go to target for your bandaids, cards, personal care products etc. With that being said, I recently had the (pleasure) of a (possible) exposure and figured a COVID test wouldn't be a terrible idea. The appointment process online was just as painless as the procedure. Sign up was easy, times were limited but I wasn't in a huge rush. The site is completely drive up and self administered so I wasn't skeeved by others. There was only a 35 minute-ish wait on the drive through line. The woman working the window was informative, polite and walked me through the process. I was glad I just had to swab and not poke my brain through my nose. Honestly, it could have been worse. Don't want to (have) to return again but would due to how easy the process was! read more

The pharmacy department here is pretty rough. During a recent visit, the staff was unable to answer my questions about my medications and unwilling to provide any assistance. The staff was obnoxious, when I explained how dissatisfied I was. If you're popping in to just get your meds filled, they are probably fine- but if you have any questions about your medications, this might not be your best choice. read more

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever done business with. After trying to refill a prescription on their app, and told if it isn't ready in 2 business days to call. After 3 different calls I gave up after waiting on hold for 10-20 minutes each time. The reason: my insurance denied the claim. Called my insurance. They have no record of the request and there is no reason it would be denied. Avoid this pharmacy at all costs. read more

If it will possible to give less than one staff of pharmacy services here I would. The rest of the store is fine and reasonably well managed, but the pharmacy is an absolute flaming dumpster fire. Someone in my family is on chronic medication that gets refilled on a regular basis for years. They have messed up this prescription almost every time. They don't have it in stock or they try to substitute with something else. This is not a chocolate bar that one can substitute different brands and products. When explain the health consequences of doing so they couldn't care less. Went to speak with the pharmacist as well, and they had similar levels of apathy. Charming healthcare. read more

This pharmacy in this CVS is poorly managed. Today is just the icing on the cake- I went in for a flu shot. Simple or so I thought. Waited on one line to be directed to another. Then directed to confirm covid status via a QR code but the site was down. The staff shrugged that off and made me wait about 20 minutes more to then only tell me 'you do know there is a 45 minute wait!' 1: how could I possibly know the wait time? 2: lead with the 45 minute wait BEFORE making a customer wait 25 minutes before processing (and that bud 70 minutes, not 45). 3: organize your operations and better train the staff and there wouldn't be a 70 minute wait. It's a shame because the rest of the store is run very well with an excellent staff. Leads me to believe that the pharmacy manager is at fault. read more

I went into the CVS at 633 Merrick Road in Lynbrook today to return a medicine that I had a reaction to and brought it in to the store for disposal. To clarify, I didn't want to return it for money, as legally they are not allowed to take back any medication - It was brought back for disposal purposes only! What I encountered was a a pharmacist and several of her co-workers begin to laugh at my request. I had never returned medication before, and didn't not know the protocol, and that there was a disposable box in the corner! A pharmacist is a medical professional who dispenses medication, and offers assistance to the public to the best of their abilities and conducts themself in a professional manner. What I encountered today, was a pharmacist who acted like a middle school kid who started laughing at a simple request. All I needed was an answer to where to dispose of the unopened medication. I am writing this review in the hopes that no other customer of CVS experiences such behavior from KAYLA, the pharmacist!! They're pretty good has a lot of stuff and is very convenient. Never had a bad experience and the cashiers are always very nice.

Worst CVS ever!! Pharmacy has the rudest staff, the line at the drive thru is always around the building and nobody seems to know what goes on. I was at the window to pick up meds for over 20 minutes before someone acknowledged me just to find out they didn't ha e my prescription and had to order it. I used to like going to this cvs but never again. I tried to use my coupons and after I got all my things up to the register was then told by the cashier that they don't accept paper coupons...umm WHAT? What store doesn't accept legitimate paper coupons from sites like coupons.com and pgeveryday.com. Each coupon is coded with a unique barcode and numbers.... Then the cashier told me that it's a corporate thing. So I kindly asked to speak to the manager who said it's just THEIR store that doesn't accept the coupons.. so basically the lady had no clue what she was talking about. Terrible photo service. My picture was printed incorrectly and store associate told me that it was the manager who printed picture incorrectly and these things happen all the time. She said that when I come back she will reprint it however it has to be a different day. I came back the next day to try to get a print out, she said I needed to bring my incorrectly printed picture back and then I can get a new one. I'm not sure if she realized it was the store that messed up on my order. She had no customer service skill. read more

I arrived at CVS with my partner of 45 years. We were looking for some cards when we came across this outrageous card of a woman taking a pie out of the oven. This card was under the section "for her". This is extremely sexist and I refuse to support such a company that would distribute this sexist ideal. In addition, I was browsing for some new England clam chowder and found multiple cans scattered around the store rather than in its desired location. I was outraged as I only buy clam chowder in when they are in the desired location. I shouldn't have to venture to the candy and the little ladies section to procure some new England clam chowder. read more

I was truly disappointed and really bothered by my experience here today. Similar to another recent reviewer, the cashier basically began signing me up for a Care Pass without my full knowledge/understanding. As I realized I was filling out information and asked what it was, I kindly declined. After that, he was so rude to me for no reason at all. He scanned my 5 items and then I watched him scan 2 of them a second time and second guessed myself and didn't want to accuse him of doing so. After paying and walking outside, I checked my receipt to find he had indeed charged me twice for multiple items. I went back in and quietly waited on line. When I came back to the register, I said I noticed I was charged for 7 items and that a few items (the most expensive ones) were scanned twice. One was a deodorant in which he snapped "Honestly? You can't just go get another then?" I was so embarrassed and anxious and I do not do well with these kinds of situations. I said that I was charged twice for another item besides that. His attitude was so poor and it was so unnecessary as he refunded me. I regret not speaking up for the way he acted, so I am leaving this review instead. Please be kind. read more

Just left the pharmacy without the medication my husband needs. The proscription was called in at 10 am, went to pick it up at 5pm and was told they do not have any of the medication nor does any other locations. So I ask did anyone call my husband and tell him this?? Or maybe someone called the dr?? Nope no calls where made and now we do not have his much needed medicine. We have been using this pharmacy for many years and they have all of our information. Really this is such poor customer service, very disappointed in the company!! read more

If zero stars were an option 0 stars. The store is absolutely ridiculous. Used to be my go to location with friendly staff. The staff now is unrecognizable. When I asked for the female manager that used to help me and my mother I was told she is no longer with the company. Good for her- cvs obviously missed out as this location is never in stock, dirty, expired milk in the refrigerator on my visit yesterday and no sale items on the shelf. Absolutely the worse CVS pharmacy i I have EVER DEALT WITH. I understand that you have to wait for the prescription to be filled and that's not my complaint. MY complaint is the pharmacy cashiers who are are looking at their cell phones while not listening to customers .I calmly waited until I had to ask the cashier a couple of times and as she was then to bothered then going and picking up the meds and then passing it on to the other cashier as she should have been the one to complete the transaction . Then the other cashier telling me I have to wait as the person she had was speaking to one of the pharmacist in a separate area. So I see that they have no regard for someone who has a medical condition who are waiting an extensive amount of time .... thanks for the great customer service..i know what CVS never to enter again . read more

The closest CVS to my office, great spot if you need to do a quick shop. It's a rather large CVS, with more than enough parking. The pharmacy is always timely, you would never be lied to about getting a prescription "on time". The staff are polite and always keep the location stocked. Even the manage doesn't mind taking a few minutes of his time to speak with you. I usually come by in the evenings and the only downside I have is the amount of cashiers when it's busy. You might see one single lone line of 5+ customers and only one cashier. That's not particularly fair to the cashier or the customers in a rush. read more

CVS' remind me of garden weeds, always popping up. Even though, my two CVS' were less than a mile away from my HT (home town), I was super excited to get one with in walking distance. I love my Lynbrook CVS. It is big, always stocked, and the weekly sales are available. BUT, there is always a long line to check out... The Pharmacy is awesome here too. We all know the feeling we get when we are sick enough to stay home from work...the pharm is quick. I was sick as hell one day with the flu (Tamiflu prescription in hand) and it was filled within 10 minutes. I was soooooo relieved. This def. is my CVS. read more

Worst experience getting Covid booster/flu vaccine today. The woman was nasty and rude and basically told me she didn't care that I waited for 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment, she's doing what the company wants her to do. I was late for work and she complained that she didn't have time or care if I was frustrated with the service. She followed up saying there was an issue with my insurance. If that was the case when I asked after waiting 30 minutes why wouldn't you tell me that. would have understood it was out of her control. It was only after I said to cancel that she told me there was a problem. So have people wait 45 minutes for a scheduled appointment after being the 2nd person she checked in. Shame on CVS if that's the policy. But I doubt that. I also understand that places are short staffed. My asking a question and getting a rude response isn't called for. When another person complained to the pharmacist she basically shrugged her shoulders and said oh well. Maybe she had a bad day or is overworked. But I must say the man online before me flirting with her got the best service. He had to get back to work so she took care of him quickly. read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would!! I waited 40 minutes to get my daughter's prescription! I had 3 people in front of me and the line was getting bigger by the minute! They had one man working the front and no one seemed to care!! It has gotten worse every time I go!! Yesterday was the worst I've ever seen!! One man in front of me walked off the line! I frequent this CVS a lot. It is right near my job and it is always busy! They usually have more than one cashier so the line is never too long. The store is always clean and always has a wide variety of everything, unlike smaller CVS's near my home. The pharmacy is always quick and efficient. They also have a Redbox outside too. read more

I stop in here sometimes on my lunch break. The parking lot is huge, Lines are usually short, and the store is usually pretty empty. The staff here is very nice, and compared to the other cvs stores nearby, this one just seems really clean and organized (it is also much newer). But I do feel they are lacking in product although the store seems much larger then the others. I have never used the pharmacy, my review is only based on my shopping experience. read more

We stopped at this cvs late one night to pick up water. Vitamins and other stuff. Everything was well stocked and the store was clean. The cashier was nice and knowledgable. We had complaints.
