However, over the years this location has missed a step or two. Items are (seemingly) not restocked as often, shelves could be more organized (it's not a mess, but sometimes you need an extra few moments to find what you need because it may not be where you expect). Also, almost every time I have gone in the past year there is a person outside asking for money. He is not aggressive, but I find it odd that a store would allow someone to become such a permanent fixture without trying to help him out somehow. The one thing I will say for this location is that the staff is always outstanding. This is only one of two Walgreens I have ever been to where employees have actually come up to ME to ask if I needed help. It happens so seldom my brain sort of freezes when it does because it's such an unusual experience! This is not my "go to" Walgreens, but in a pinch this location will do.

After I paid I realized that the site was incredibly suspicious and I called customer service. It was very hard to get in touch with anyone and when I did they circumvented my questions. After a while, they connected me with the distributor (which their site says they will not do) and that was Elmora Healthcare. To be fair, the customer service person with whom I spoke - he and I had a language barrier and in the end, I saw that he was trying to help me so no fault there. Once I was transferred to Elmora Healthcare I spoke with Ben Hertz, the manager and third generation in the family to run the business who assured me that the site was credible and gave me numerous ways to verify that. He proceeded to tell me where I could get further info on the chair I wanted and offered info on a scooter as well. He was extremely knowledgeable about challenges that disabled individuals face and answered my questions before I asked them. Once I got to NYC I decided to call them to thank them for their assistance as the chair was perfect and exactly as described. It was after hours but Ben answered. He was clearly out at an event but still took the time to tell me the ins and outs of the chair and let me know that I could call him anytime if there was ever a problem. When it was time to leave he called me to ask if I had been satisfied. This very long review is my testament to exactly how satisfied I was! I plan on using them any time I return to NYC.
