I needed too speak with the pharmacist, but the automated interaction would not let me speak to a pharmacist even though I asked several times to talk to the pharmacist. It would only put me through to a voice mail saying they would call back in about an hour. Not sure if they will be calling back or not. We've used this chain for our prescriptions for years. Moved this past year and we've had issue after issue (after ISSUE) with this particular pharmacy. Had a change in insurance and they can't seem to stop trying to bill the "old" insurance, causing huge wait times and NEVER an apology. Rather, they seem "put out" that we've changed insurance. Half the time, you have to call and call again to make sure they even *got* the refill request. Again, NEVER an apology.... Today was the last straw; we are in need of an additional refill on my daughter's ear drops. This was called in, via her pediatrician. I called our insurance to verify that it would be accepted and paid for, since it was originally filled 4 days prior. Insurance gave us the ok and CVS insists that the insurance won't cover it since we already "have" them. Ummm, it's for the OTHER ear as well. Back and forth with the pharmacist I went, he seemed to think I was an idiot of some sort; his tone was definitely snotty and just rude, overall. I tried explaining that the pediatrician called in an additional bottle and this "professional" insisted that the first bottle "would have plenty". I tried (over and over) to explain that the 1st bottle is half empty, but he simply repeated that I was incorrect in "gauging the amount". Because, of COURSE, he can see through my phone and be assured that I can't tell a half-empty bottle. I finally gave up, his need to be "right" trumped actually HELPING a customer with a child that was in pain. I called customer service and filed a complaint, I will also be following up with an email. I'm finally over being treated unkindly and without consideration as a human in this world. In the meantime, CVS, you lost 3 customers, we will be taking our prescriptions elsewhere. read more

I stopped here on our road trip because I forgot some items. Liz who appeared to be the person working there immediately helped my wife and I. She not only told me where to find the items but walked us towards the locations. Liz was super nice and helpful. My wife and I agreed it would be so refreshing if ever place we visited had someone as sunny as Liz working there. She really made our visit to CVS enjoyable. Scheduled an appt for Covid booster. I received a confirmation message and a subsequent message to click on a link when I arrived which I did. I walked back to the pharmacy counter per instructions. When I told them why I was there I was informed that the Covid booster vial had expired and that they would not open a new one until the next day. First, why did they take my appointment in the first place and secondly why didn't they message me before I drove all the way there. Then the pharmacy people just blew it off. Never at CVS again. Corporate needs to take a good look at their scheduling website and demand that they contact people if an appointment can't be kept. read more

This pharmacy has shown time and time again that they have no regard for providing good service. They often will not provide the correct information as to what is needed to get your prescription. When posed with the most basic questions they talk like you've inconvenienced them. They should give their bare minimum before acting as though they're doing you a favor by doing their job. read more

I agree that CVS has the automated service to remind you when refill is due and that they will contact your doctor, however, all CVS locations offer these. The wait time at Lenoir City pharmacy is ridiculous compared to other locations. Thankfully I live right between LC and Farragut, so Farragut has my business now. I will say the staff at LC CVS is all very nice. I don't know if they have that much more business, if customers want to chat, or if the staff is just slow. But I have moved on. read more

THIS IS THE MOST DISRESPECTFUL, UNPROFESSIONAL, DISTURBING pharmacy/business/store I've ever dealt with in my whole life!! I have felt stuck here for many years because, for 1. I'm terrified of them not sending my info to another pharmacy correctly or at all! 2. They tell me If I switch pharmacies with active prescriptions at cvs that I couldn't get them switched?? Whatever that means. At this point, it's worth the risk. They have caused me so much money,time, physical sickness, suffering, stress etc.. I would honestly be here forever if I listed every single thing I've been through. I'm a very sickly person. I'm also a cancer survivor and it has caused me to have so many medical issues. The experiences I've put up with for so many years are not just small, crybaby issues!!! They need to be shut down!! I'm a laid back person and can take allot of crap. It's life! But this place has destroyed my finally nerve. I'm willing to fight for myself along with many many others who have put up with the same issues. Read the reviews and it's all the same and I feel so sorry for the ones I read. It's literally experiences that have caused me life or death, mental disturbance and fear to have to deal with them. SOMEONE WILL LISTEN! I PROMISE TO FIGHT FOR MYSELF AND ALL YOU OTHERS WHO ARE DISTURBED AND HAVING LIFE ALTERING issues due to this unprofessional place. I WILL NOT STOP!!! This is the worst pharmacy. And the minute clinic dont even get me started. I needed a 30 day prescription filled for Thyroid medication. I was out, we are new to the area so i asked the pharmacist if Minute Clinic could do me a 30 day prescription. The pharmacist told me yes, so i went to the kiosk to make an appointment. My appointment time was 45 minutes so we waited. No one came after me and there was one woman in front of me. As the time got down to 10 minutes for my appointment, the woman in front of us still hadnt been called and by her name said next, my appointment was bumped back for over an hour and a half after sitting there for over an hour and a half already. Needless to say that is the worst customer service ever. It was her lunch time, God Forbid i took 5 minutes up of her lunch time. I was furrious and so was my husband. The only reason we have to use CVS is his insurance policy told us we have to. Yes i still have to use this pharmacy, i had to give one star because that was the least they would allow.. i hope otherscafe treated better than we were. Tina read more
