It's not even close. Before you get the idea I'm a pill popping-got 20 prescription meds in my bathroom-3 times a day gotta get my fix... Nope. I take no prescription medicines. Zip. But I *do* get routine COVID tests for travel outside the U.S. and I got my booster shot here, so much more convenient than others. And last night, received my RT-PCR COVID test results less than 12 hours after submission. No worrying if I'm going to receive my results on time for my flight. I'm hooked on this little family owned business. My regular old pharmacy is nice enough, but they're deathly slow, offer no testing in spite of being a massive corporation. A previous trip with my wife we both got tested at another large, recognizable national corporate pharmacy. You know the one. Bright lights, right on the corner, big parking lots, no pretense of fitting into the community, their profits streaming out of state. I digress. We got results, alright. Mine 2 days after I was *in* Canada, meaning the tests were over 48 hours beyond the 2-3 days advertised and utterly worthless, and my wife's test they completely lost even though we took them at the same time, depositing the materials in the same repository. Thanks, CVS. Oops, didn't mean to actually name them. Not even worth reviewing on Yelp. We only made it to Canada thanks to Orchard. But this place: they'll talk to you, they understand you may be traveling, they get the importance. One gentleman even told us, "if you are getting close to your flight and you don't have the results we can call the lab for you." Service as it should be. So from now on my business goes here. I rarely get something, an occasional flu shot and that's about it, but if the time ever comes and I need something, I'm here. And I intend to tell everyone about them. They're the best.

The self checkouts are terrible, employees had to intervene on almost every self checkout register…read moredue to errors. They need to hire more actual cashiers instead of running a bare bones crew. Initially the scanners weren't working on the self checkout register I was on, then whatever stupid AI is monitoring the video accused me of theft because I scanned some large items and put them back in my cart. It also didn't give me a receipt. When I left the store to take my groceries to my car the cart wheels locked up and I banged my shin on the cart. Then had to lift the entire cart off the ground to put it away because the wheels were locked.

I came in at about 20 minutes before they closed and they made sure I knew they closed at 7. After dealing with these yahoos I am looking for robotic help in the future and they can get some low paying job like they deserve. They only filled for 90 days because they were lazy and wanted to leave. They said they could fill it like it was called in but by that time I was feeling that my time had already been wasted and by now it was past their time to clock out. They wheel the window closed right in your face without apology. Today when they reopened I was still sitting there where I had been when they told me they were not able to help me until after their lunch. It cost me 30 minutes but would have cost the pharmacist one. One minute. Today is probably not the best day for me to be leaving them a review.

They have bags of clearance produce as well, and anything they don't sell they seem to donate to the local food bank! So they are also giving back to their community. If you don't already, there is a FREE FRIDAY DOWNLOAD that lets you get a specific grocery item every week, completely for free. They usually keep the free item at the front that week so they are easy to fine. It really is nice to be able to try new things like that, and anything you don't use you could also donate to Just Food, the local food bank. The only negative thing I have to put is that the drink vendor doesn't stock the drinks very well according to what is sold, so a lot of the times things that are popular are our (such as the Rockstar Punched that is the only energy drink they have that has extra caffeine in it.)

This was despite the fact that numerous BCBS representatives - at least 8-10 separate phones calls had been made to not only BCBS of KC but our provider group - telling them otherwise that our insurance is active. The pharmacist, named Shawn, that was supposedly helping me for over hour abruptly left and all he could say to me was "IT is working on the issue, it should be fixed in a couple of days". This is absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional of someone working in the healthcare industry. Horrible.
