This CVS location left quite an impression on me during my one (and likely only) visit. We were in town for a few days from Houston and, lo and behold, my wheezing turned to coughing, which led me to take an Uber to a nearby doc in the box. They called in my much-needed prescriptions to this CVS, which was very busy in the late afternoon. Still, all three of my meds were ready within 20 minutes. So I might donate some money at the craps tables after all! The retail side of this CVS also deserves a shout-out. This CVS is so sketchy! I wanted to try a new location when buying a few items but I picked the wrong area apparently. There was some weirdo outside who kept harassing me on the way in & out of the store. Everything is locked up so I had to bug the cashier just to unlock 2 Red Bulls for me. It's so sad they have to run their shop like this but it's not in the best area. They have security standing at the front which is great for them but also a quick reminder that sketchy people frequent the area. The staff were really nice at least! This review isn't as much for the store, as it is for the pharmacy. I used to live close by for a few years and would get my prescriptions here all of the time. I generally received good service. Wait times were minimal. That being said, I went to the urgent care across the street to basically get a refill of medication. Wanted to get it before cvs closed. So after arriving and noticing there was a mistake with my prescription, the pharmacist was very nice and could tell my angst I had on hoping to get this filled. So upon going back to quick care and having them send over the right prescription, the pharmacist filled mine right before closing. Even ensured it after I returned asking her person helping her to get the process going. I unfortunately didn't get her name, but it would have been the pharmacist that closed on Wednesday evening. Went here twice for my PCR COVID-19 tests at the drive thru lane, all by appointments made approximately a week before and the process went very smoothly! I swabbed myself in my car with someone instructing me the whole time thru the window and speaker! I dropped off the specimen bag right outside in a secure box without ever leaving the drive thru lane! I recommend this test if you don't like lines and having any in person contact! Meh it was okay here, just like any other CVS but there were some cons about this place though. The customer service was really lacking and especially after I got my item, no employees were at register or at the front at all. It took about 5 minutes for an employee to notice and come to ring my item up. Also, no apology was said to me which make me feel that they don't care nor value their customers... This CVS has improved quite a bit over the last year. I get my prescriptions filled here every month, and for a while, they misplaced prescriptions, filled them incorrectly, or wouldn't text me when my prescription was ready. Over the last 3 months, there have been great improvements made in their customer service. The pharmacists are polite, apologetic when there is an issue, even if it isn't their fault (my doctor sent the wrong prescription, and the pharmacist was amazing.) The store is always clean, and the employees are helpful. I'm much more comfortable shopping and filling my prescriptions here than I was a while ago. read more

I always go to this cvs pharmacy not only because it's close to where I live but because the staff is always friendly and helpful with me whether it's asking for the music headphones. Or anything else they are always right on it. I always find the items I always look for at this particular cvs store and it's the other thing that keeps me coming back to this cvs store location. The store does not place a focus on customer service. You can be the sole person in there and wait and wait and wait. I pretty much avoid this CVS. I found an online planner that I wanted and this CVS had it in stock so I braved it. The clerk at the register was super nice. She was helping out someone by the photo area and ringing up the one person at the register before me. She was doing a great job --even nicely asking a homeless woman to leave who was trying on perfume. She was doing it all and could have used a bit of help but she was alone so we were all patient. And then, another woman pops out straightening up stuff. When it is my turn I asked if that woman was a manager. The clerk said, "We both are". I commented that she should be helping you when you are busy. She responded that the other manager was putting out "other fires". What other "fires"? Putting the small armful of stuff she was holding away? How about helping out the few customers in there (and your co-manager) and when they leave and you are dead again finish putting the 3 things you had in your arms away? I do not know about you but I find it irritating to wait 14 minutes when there is only one customer ahead of me AND there is someone available that could have made the wait shorter. If she does not intend to pull her weight and help customers then just stay hiding in the back where we can't see you. My one star review is for the store. For the pharmacy portion - Joyce the manager is first rate and I use the drive-through for pharmacy needs and only when she is there. She is wonderful! read more

I have been to this store a few time in. The last year and the people are ok, but not super help for or nice. I just went in there and I was approached and told that I had been kicked out of the store and I was not allowed there. I have never been kicked out of a store in my life!!! Obviously a case of mistaken identity, but it didn't matter.. I was the one that was wrong. So I left!! I have to say I have never felt so humiliated and wrongfully accused in my life! Joseph the manager is the best. He greeted me as soon as I walked in. He is the prime example of how CVS managers and workers should be. I think he deserves a raise. The barcodes for all the food, beverages and alcohol were not working but that didn't affect me because I was buying drops for my contact lenses. Anyways thanks for your outstanding customer service. Staff is friendly, they greet you when you walk in, and they always seem eager to answer questions. Store is clean and orderly. Pharmacy fills orders on time, never any issues or problems. Pricing is higher than other drug stores, but customer service is consistently spot-on.. My only complaint is that several times I've noticed that sale items seem to be out of stock rather quickly. They do offer rainchecks, which is not something that stores typically offer. For the area, surprisingly good customer service. read more

This was my first time using CVS pharmacy and it went really well . I went dropped off the medication and was helped by Megan who was extremely helpful and sweet . I picked up my medication with I believe his name is Irwin and he was very polite . I had no issues . They did everything they could to make sure I picked up all my medication at one time (I have strep throat) and was prescribed three diff meds along with my son and they did a really good job at having it ready quickly . This is a pretty typical CVS location. Conveniently located for me to pick up the random prescription or health & beauty item. Those are typically the only things I come here for. The staff is usually pretty friendly and their pharmacy is efficient. They have a drive thru drop off and pick up for prescriptions, but I have never utilized that service. I've never had to wait long for help and the lines at the register are never too long. It's a nice place to shop for after holiday discounted candy and treats as well. CVS auto signs up for ready refills without permission and fills them when specifically told customer will call when ready for refill as they can be expensive. Wants you to create online account then tells you you cannot cancel auto refills they have set up without permission but you must go in person to cancel the auto refill. when medicine is expensive this is terrible to do. When fed up with account you cannot cancel the online account...they want to keep all private information and will not allow canceling online. read more

If this review was for the pharmacy alone it would be 5 stars, being from out of state they have been a big help. Taking care of two elderly relatives I am here just about everyday. Yesterday and today again I had the worst customer service, yesterday I asked the cashier if they had any vanilla Starbucks, the shelves were empty? She said "No everything we have is out , I said then can I have a raincheck, she then said maybe we don't sell that flavor , I said yes you do, I the slot is empty! She said did you read the plastic tabs? Really is that my job? I said Yes! Then she said how many do you want, I said how many can I get ? She said first tell me how many you want! This went on a few mores times, then I said "8" she said nope , 4 is the limit ! I had a 5$ off coupon if you spend 25$ , the customer behind me that I apologized to a couple of times said " where did you get that coupon? I told her that they email it too you, crabby cashier who wasn't even being spoken to said " not everyone gets them" , way to make your customers feel valued , then today the same crabby cashier said " did you find everything you were looking for? So my Dr. calls in the prescription just like always. I get there and give my name and my prescriptions are found right away. So why did it take 30 minutes to get my prescriptions? Why did the first girl who helped me hand me off to some other guy who then handed me off to the pharmacist? Why did the pharmacist, as she was checking my prescriptions, have to poor some of my pills from each prescription into her hand and then straight back into the bottle? NASTY AND UNSANITARY. And this is the main pharmacist! Does she do this with every prescription? Again, NASTY! You can't poor a couple of pills into the bottle cap and check them that way? When I brought it to her attention, she said well that is how she checks them and she can use hand sanitizer after each bottle she checks. Really? So I want my pills drenched in hand sanitizer?
