This cvs always seems to be out of stock of many items. You'll come back week after week and the shelves are never filled. I don't know whether if they only get shipments once a month or what but everything I need typically when I'm there is never ever available. The shelves look the same weeks and months later. I've been to other cvs and they always have the shelves stocked up. Even though they have self checkout they seem to get very irritated when you ask them for help or to be checked out by them because when using coupons and rewards it's easier through them. Male clerk had his ear pods in, walking around on his phone, on a personal call. He was at least making sure products were lined up, so there's that. Meanwhile, the checkout line was at a stand still. A customer, like myself was a couponer. I usually move aside so a quicker transactions can get by me. Luckily, the male clerk finally came around and opened up another register. I was confused on my transaction with the lady. She was already flustered from the gentleman before me, and then I walked up to add to her already annoyed demeanor. The male clerk went and got a manager, cause he didn't want to deal either. She walked away muttering and said, "excuse me." She said, "All these coupons driving me crazy. Making things messy." OH!! Male manager walked out, super calm, and nice. Haven't seen him before. Apparently, he's here at this location to turn things around. I apologized for my confusion multiple times, and he said I didn't need to, and would talk to his muttering clerk. This location is closest to my house. 5 minutes away. I've stopped coming here due to their poor customer service. I walk into a store for service, and get it at the larger West Charleston location. I'll drive 15 minutes OUT OF MY WAY, so workers don't mutter under their breadth about me using my coupons or try to usher me to a self serve line, when I walk into a store. I required a TB test for my new job. It was a hassle to get a referral from my doctor, so I found CVS would administer the test, and my health insurance would cover it. It's all online, and you will need your smartphone to check-in. There's a kiosk, and even I could use it! The nurse practitioner, Loli, administered the test efficiently, with just a pinch. This is a very busy cvs pharmacy. Despite that the staff is always trying to help and super friendly. I needed a prescription that they needed to special order, it took awhile but one of the employees, I think her name was Penny went out of her way to make sure it was done right. She tired multiple codes and my insurance to find me the best price. I really appreciate her time and patience despite them being so busy. I have been a customer at this CVS pharmacy for at least 6 years I always verify ahead of time when my prescription can be filled since it is for a specific medication I was told that it could be filled on Friday May 8th so when I called to fill it I get a call back and the young woman that called me back said no it couldn't be filled until the 9th the more I thought about it the more I knew it was today on the 8th so I called back and spoke with another pharmacist tech and he informed me that I was correct that it was today that it could be filled and that he would have it ready by 10:00 in the morning and then that same girl calls me back and tells me that she can't feel it for another 7 days that I should have a supply on hand since it's been filled early a couple of times I told her no I don't have any on hand she called me a liar and said that as the pharmacist she knows that I have a supply on hand and when I told her no she was incorrect she again called me a liar and insisted that I have a 7-Day supply on hand and then she proceeded to tell me that she would fill it in 7 days so I called the corporate office where one lady I spoke with told me that yes I was correct but instead of it being filled today it should have been filled yesterday so she connected me with the department that handles when the pharmacist refuses to fill your prescription and they give me the runaround also trying to cover each other's asses I have been a customer there and normally I have excellent excellent customer service there is one pharmacist there a young lady that is absolutely awesome and a gentleman that is awesome too and unfortunately I cannot remember their names but after today I will be remembering them because I will not deal with anybody but them so it looks like I can't get my much-needed medication for seven more days and I am an elderly woman on disability which I need my medication for my disability so it didn't matter that I've been a customer of CVS's for over 5 years and that the same person that's telling me it can't be filled for another 7 Days told me tomorrow that doesn't matter because she has taken it upon herself to decide when my prescription can be filled so if you're dealing with CVS pharmacy at this address make sure that you have a supply on hand and that you document everything time date and who you spoke with and if I could give them a negative star I would read more

I've only been to this location once but I'm a BIG CVS fan & have been for many years. Probably since I worked for them in my early 20's as a pharmacy tech. so CVS is always my first choice in pharmacy stores. I needed another RAPID COVID test & since they are hard to get into due to being booked up this location came up for an open appointment so I grabbed it. Was about 20-25 minutes from home but I don't mind going to this side of town occasionally as I use to live around here. My 5 star rating is only for my experience with my COVID test. This location was easy to find thanks to Yelp GPS. Clear signs in parking lot on where to park for the COVID test & the little white shack is easy to see so you know where to go. I was greeted by the nurse outside via my passenger window. She verified name & DOB. Gave me instructions on which door to go in & to bring in my ID & insurance card. We chit chatted a bit. As a nurse myself we shared work experiences out here in Vegas. She was very nice & friendly. Sorry I didn't catch her name. Test is quick. You swab yourself. I tickled @ first then made my eyes water. Its about the size of a normal Q-tip. No physical contact with the nurse & there is a big bottle of hand sanitizer for your use. This location didn't have me wipe down the chair or door knobs as one location did. I was in & out in probably 10-15 minutes. I believe it was an NP that called me about 30 minutes after to give me my test results. Her English was very poor. She did verify my name, DOB & even asked me my allergies. She told me my test results were NEGATIVE & I was asking if it was for that days test results or Friday's as I also got tested on Friday @ another CVS drive thru that wasn't a rapid testing site. This caught her off guard & got her all confused. Not sure why because when I asked for which day I told her why I was asking. Besides her English being poor (you should have heard how she pronounced COVID...lol) her understanding English was poor too. This can be a dangerous issue when discussing test results with patients. She finally verified it was for that day's test results. I would think if she was pulling up my chart she should be able to see previous visits?? If your in need of a COVID test I highly recommend using a CVS. It's free but you still need to show your insurance card if you have one because I believe the insurance company reimburses them. read more

Took my son to the minute clinic here. They were nice enough but the nurse practitioner has no clue what to do or what to prescribe for a virus turning into bacterial infection. She won't listen to what your saying. It seems like she's just pushing a drug that the pharmaceuticals are giving her kickbacks from. She prescribed my son a antitussint that distinctly earns from using if the person is coughing up a lot of mucous. He was visibly coughing up huge yellow/green mucous. It warns- could cause pneumonia if prescribed ring & used wrong due to stopping a cough and allowing mucous to settle in the chest/lungs!!! I called to discuss this and asked for an antibiotic. I will NEVER set foot into this store because of the way someone spoke to a sick elderly person; who's meds were prescribed to the wrong store. We walked to the store that we requested at the doctors office and they informed us that it was sent to this store. (The wrong store) New to Nevada, she was trying to figure out what direction and how far. The (explicit) that answered the phone kept cutting her off and sternly repeating over and over the cross streets and not listening to her. She was going to request the prescriptions be transferred over to where we walked. The guy was mean and loosing it. I took her phone and hung up on him. If someone this unstable is filling prescriptions, I wouldn't trust what's being placed in my prescription bottles. These are some of the most pleasant pharmacists and techs. I've never gone in there and they're not busy, yet they are always busy. Most recently, I stopped by last night after my hip surgery. Jared apologized profusely for my meds not being ready. I simply asked that he skip the Percocet (hate narcotics) and I would take the rest, so he could go on go help another customer. Honestly don't use this pharmacy. I'm a huge fan of CVS and their deals but the pharmacy at this location is an absolute mess. The first time I came in to fill a prescription my doctor sent it to them early in the morning. I called a couple of times throughout the day and confirmed that it would be ready by 5:30pm. Cool. I show up around 6 and they had a few guys back there just hanging out. I gave them my information and was told my 7 day script wasn't ready and it was going to be an hour. The next couple times I went I didn't have too much of an issue. I didn't have to call, I just went in, and picked up what I needed. I recently went back to grab my medication and was just over it. My doctor put in the request for my script on Friday. I came in on Tuesday gave them the same information I usually do and was told that my script was placed on hold and they're unable to release it to me. When I asked why they advised that I needed to call in before I come to pick it up. I stated that the last few times I came in without calling I was able to pick it up without issue and no one has ever told me otherwise. She then went on to say I must call in before and she'll push it through this one time. (Like it was a favor to me) then proceeded to tell my script would be ready in two hours. Honestly I try not to give bad reviews but there is no order in this place. Everyone is just doing what they want and they have no regard for your time. I made an appointment for the minute clinic needing only my weight, height, and blood pressure take and signed for my surrogacy company. They were really weird about doing this even tho on the form it literally stated to go to a minute clinic specifically. A second lady came in and stated that due to their computer system she couldn't take my blood pressure? I said I'm sorry can't you just listen to my pulse and watch the time to check my blood pressure? (How my midwife did it my whole pregnancy) She said we can't enter it into our system sorry can't do it. I was so frustrated with these people. I explained we had driven 30 minutes (myself, 5 year old and 8 month old) we waited 20 minutes to be seen (the man before us was yelling at these women calling them incompetent) just for you to refuse to take my blood pressure????? I simply needed it written on a form! What does the computer matter?! I arrived with sympathy thinking no one deserves to be yelled at and told they can't do their job.. just to leave feeling the same way. This is a complaint about CVS overall and not just this location, but majority of my issues have been associated with this location so... I've had SO MANY problems getting my children vaccinated against COVID through CVS. My 9 year old's appointment was canceled once without a prior phone call, and when I called and asked why they'd canceled it the pharmacy didn't know and went ahead and scheduled him again. My 2 year old can only get her vaccine through minute clinic. Her pediatrician didn't have the shots when they were approved by the FDA so I scheduled with CVS. The website showed that only one location in town offered shots for her age group, abd that was 40 miles round trip at $6/gallon in a minivan. We waited 20 minutes for the NP to call us in and he asked why we were there, and when I said it was for the vaccine he said "of we don't have any more". Seriously? He scheduled her for the next day at 5 pm at a closer clinic, saying all clinics had the vaccine (wish the website had been accurate). Later that evening the second location called to tell me that NP had scheduled her for 5AM the next day and they weren't open at that time. Wtf? Their next appt wasn't for 2 more days but we took it. We have waited a year+ for her to be able to get vaccinated. I am a nurse and have had this virus multiple times, and having had a child die in the past makes me a little terrified of going through that again. This vaccine matters a lot. CVS jerked us around a couple times by this point but whatever she got her shot. Day 21 was 2 days ago. The second dose is recommended at 21-28 days. I scheduled for tonight at 6:50. Arrived on time and checked in, and was told they didn't have any doses and it'd be at least a week before they got more. She claimed she tried to call me but I have no missed calls or messages so idk. Another wasted trip because this company doesn't have a system that can determine if they have doses when making an appt for this specific thing. But what really upsets me is the text 7 minutes after the scheduled appointment time telling me the appt was canceled. I attached a screen shot and you can see at nearly 5:30 pm my visit was still scheduled. I'M DONE. What happens if she doesn't she the 2nd dose in the 7 day window? This is extremely problematic. They've repeatedly wasted my time AND money, and I know the first week or so could be excused for whatever reasons but this tonight was absolutely wrong. read more

My husband needed to get his throat checked. Hi uvala was swollen. The minute clinic was a joke. On his appt. they said they couldn't do anything for him. All he needed was an antibiotic . They wouldn't help at all. The lady said, we only take care of scraps and cuts. However when you read what kind of services they take care of, the throat was on the list. Tired of this place, I plan on going elsewhere. The staff they have now compared to before suck. The consistent attitudes you get over the phone, sometimes you get someone who says there name and appears to help, but instead messes up your insurance on file. I've been coming here for many, many years and before the staff were content, respectful, caring, and actually did their jobs well. The new staff have literally screwed up my insurance numerous times, almost overcharged me for meds that should've been cheaper due to my insurance, and etc. The fact that I have good insurance and they know this and have personally told me this, I am surprised at how many times I have come here and they manage to not add my insurance in for my co-payment. They told me it is automatic, but try too many times like 20 times that I can recall coming in and my insurance wasn't charged.... Having an argument with one of the staff, because no bs my co-pays were always $5.00, $10.00, and $50.00. Now out of nowhere my co-pays are $100.00. They claimed I had added benefits to them which is another lie, because for a 3 month supply was and has always been $50.00. They also tried to argue about the new covid testing, the main lane now you get to sit up to 30 minutes while people pick there nose in front of the staff to do covid testing while I was there just to pick up my meds. The girl tried to say the right lane was open, but there was no sign and the excuse was oh we can't place a sign, because our landlord. Really, so you mean to say that your customers get to sit for possibly 30 minutes or more and wait for meds while you can't even have a sign that says use right lane for med pick up and drop off, only ignorance!
