Came to Havasu without my medications OH NO.I called my doctors and pharmacy to help me out. They called CVS on lake Havasu Blvd. I was worried how this all was going to work. Great parking right in front that was a plus. I made my way to the pharmacy no waiting. I explained my absence mindedness gave them my name and birthday. The pharmacist assistant smiled disappeared and came back with a small sack containing everything I'd left on the counter in the kitchen at home in California. Is this what your looking for? She asked, I was saved. Everyone at CVS was great. I was so relieved. This store isn't like the ones in California this one is much larger plus the liquor dept. was awesome well stocked with all your favorites flavors. I've used CVS Pharmacy, Store #7022, for over 20 years in other states and NEVER faced the issues with wrong orders, ignoring customer requests (even in person), and downright rudeness. All my friends ask me, "why do you keep going back?". I hate change, I'm exhausted trying to get them to correct my prescription after their many promises to make it right. I make calls, no answers and no call backs. Send online messages, no replies. Go into the pharmacy, "it's all taken care of". Shortly thereafter realizing nothing changed except my final decision to change where I get my medications. CVS Corporate needs to take a hard look at the practices related to customer satisfaction by this pharmacy. read more

If I could give negative stars, I would. I moved back here after living in Vegas for 8 years. I used CVS in Vegas and never had any problems. Every time I call or even go into this pharmacy, they are rude. What happened to helping people solve their issues with a prescription that is on the pharmacies end? So mad at this place. Stood in line at pharmacy only to finally get to counter and they told me I had to come back because they were leaving for lunch. I was jut picking up and they said it doesn't matter they are closed and I have to come back. It was 1:30pm and there were three people working in pharmacy and not one would help me. I understand you have to eat, but can't you stagger the lunches a bit to provide a much needed service for the elderly. Switching to Walgreens across the street for my future prescription needs. If you want sardonic customer service with a side of quackery, come to the local CVS pharmacy. Where we can assure you, you will leave wondering why on earth you ever came. Call to speak to someone? Why do that, when you can leave a voicemail and have us potentially call you back at some random time in the near future? Get your prescription transferred to us? Why do that when you can go back and forth between Walgreens and CVS like a chicken with your head cut off trying to do the pharmacy technician's job for them. But rest assured, the staff at CVS will inform you "we're doing everything we can", and you can be sure they are only bending the truth entirely. So why wait? Not happy with this joint. I have 12 Perscriptions and set up my account for mail delivery, no problem with 11 of the 12, but they refuse to mail glucose test strips, the least danger of my drugs. So, I look at their website, open 7am-11pm, sign on the window 8am-10pm, 8:10am, nobody their. I asked the snotty manager what time the pharmacy opened, she said 9am, as they have been doing since COVID. I am giving a poor review because I own a business in California that has been repeatedly called by CVS customers asking for the 24 hour pharmacy This has been going on off and on since early last spring. I have to track down the CVS google posting that has my business phone number. It takes several days for google to make the corrections to the correct number. CVS staff that I have tried to talk to are not able or willing to help. More importantly is the frustration I hear from the CVS customer that I can't help. I sincerely hope someone at CVS will see this and take steps to prevent it from happening. Wow. Never had an experience quite like what I had at this CVS pharmacy. The heavyset dark haired female tech was unbelievably rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful. First she told me that there were no prescriptions for me and kind of shrugged as if maybe I was confused and went to the wrong location. I showed her in my CVS app on my phone that my prescription was at this location. Long story short, it was a CVS Pharmacy error, but she blamed me. All I did was drive to the store and try to pick up my prescription the same way that it always works. She told me it would take two hours to fill. I got home and called the store because I was confused and wanted to make sure that it was straightened out. I spoke to the same woman. I explained that I was confused and that I needed help straightening it out. She was rude and uncaring and I started losing my patience. She put the phone down and I heard her say, "Why is this guy giving me all this jive? He was just here." She then let me sit and stew for several minutes until she decided to pick up the phone again. In a syrupy-sweet sarcastic voice she said, "I'm still working on this!" I asked her what was going on and she said, "The medication is out of stock. Someone else filled their prescription about ninety minutes ago and that was the last of it." I asked her why she didn't tell me that before. I then asked to speak to the manager. I hear her say very clearly, "He wants to have a heart-to-heart with you, Brad." She then placed the call of hold for several minutes. When Brad finally picked up, he got an earful. I swore and ranted about her. Poor Brad kind of resignedly apologized and said that he isn't a manager. He refused to give me the woman's name. He also said that he had filled my prescription. I asked how he could have filled it if it was out of stock. I told him to send my prescription to Walgreens. He seemed relieved and said that he would gladly do that. I immediately called Walgreens and transferred all of my prescriptions. So CVS has someone working there who just doesn't give a ****. She was rude and unfriendly from the start and got worse from there. The whole thing was just unbelievable. read more

Went to Lake Havasu CVS this morning. Upon check out the employee Denise kept pushing self checkout on the customers. Denise was identified by the sales receipt because she was not wearing a name tag. Denise was rude and did not want to do her job and checkout customers. Even tried to say manager didn't want her behind the counter. Wth? WALGREENS right down the street honey and they appreciate my business. Nect time going to WALGREENS where they appreciate my business. DENISE needs to quit and get BIDEN money since she doesn't wanna work. Absolutely the worst customer service. Do not recommend using the drive thru at all. They hide behind tinted windows that they don't open (new since Covid). They put the person with the softest voice on speaker. Mumbles, tells you one price then says she never said it and argues with you. Told me my blood sugar supplies weren't covered and I would have to order them mail order at full price or I could buy them on Amazon when in reality they are 100 percent covered. Had to get the insurance company involved. Staff stands around chatting with each other. If you come to the counter they act like it is an inconvenience to have to serve you. Or better yet they argue with you. Corporate CVS should launch an investigation into what goes on here. If it were possible to give negative stars I would. They can only go up as they are at Rock bottom in the pharmacy. read more

Called to find out why my script was not filled and placed on hold and the pharmacy manager DANIEL then hung up on me twice. He was very unprofessional. I asked why my medication was placed on hold and he stated "I don't have an answer for you" so the minute I said I was in the medical field I was told to direct my complaint to 1800-cvs, ok DANIEL not only will I be doing that but I guarantee you will not treat another customer with such disregard and get away with it. Maybe you forgot that you wouldn't have a job if it wasn't for the customers of CVS! But you gonna learn today! It's a calling to be in the medical field and if you don't like your job or your an asshole while you're supposed to be helping people, God I feel sorry for you hunny cause you're gonna need that same help one day. read more

went down to this pharmacy to find out if I could get a medication. It is a medication for hypertension and an arrhythmia issue. The pharmacy tech that I spoke with, wouldn't even look me in the eye. When I asked him if he could help me find out if I could transfer an RX, he pretty much just waved me off and said no. I would not recommend this pharmacy or any pharmacy in this chain. 04/08/2023 So I had a ligament was torn from my arm, went to the hospital and was given a script for pain killers. They sent the script over to get me the pain killers asap as I was in excruciating pain. I show up and was tile they did not have the meds and I needed to call the hospital and get it changed. I was in shock, never had that happen before. The pharmacy called to get it changed. I called the hospital and was advised they needed to call. I called them back and now they are closed. I am absolutely pissed at this point. I am in massive pain and can't move my left side. This LAZY POS pharmacy tech ( who looks like he is about to go to RAVE,) just basically told me to pound sand was ready to clock out and didn't give a crap about the pain a customer was in!! Little does he know ( I'm going back in the morning to get all his info) I'm in the Pharmacy regulation industry for both California and Arizona and will be I touch with one of the SR VP's for CVS. Yes I will be calling her personally on EASTER to discuss this with her. This will not be overlooked.. At all !! read more

Made an appointment for a flu shot several days in advance. Arrived a little ahead of the appointment time and checked in. After waiting a bit while they did some computer work and went back and looked in a refrigerator they returned to say they were out! Went over to Walgreens right away and was able to get one no problem. Whats the point of an appointment if they don't keep enough stock on hand for them? This is possibly the WORST pharmacy in havasu. I have been going to the pharmacy at CVS for years and every single time I go to pick up a prescription there is ALWAYS an issue. Yes, it is also my fault that it took me so long to switch pharmacies. I was on a very strict and time sensitive medication and they always would some how screw up my prescription to where I wouldn't be able to get it because they are "weeks behind on prescription" or they are "out of stock." I would get an automated text from CVS saying my prescription is ready just to drive all the way there to find out that it hasn't even been made yet. The staff at CVS is also very unprofessional and has horrible customer service. They were rude when I spoke on the phone with them and even rude to my doctors office when my own doctor spoke to them. Thanks to CVS, I had to restart my medication all over again. Rarely did I ever have an on time prescription or a good experience with CVS pharmacy. SO glad I switched to a pharmacy that knows that they're doing. read more

They have an automated system to save time however when it says that your prescription will be ready at an certain time and you go to pick it up 5 hours later and they say rudely that it is still in progress you are at their mercy!!! I just left CVS in Lake Havasu. The lady at the check out was wearing her mask way below her nose. I asked nicely if she realized that if the mask did not cover her nose, it would not protect her or her costumers. She replied that she did not believe in masks and was only wearing it to get a paycheck from CVS!! I reiterated that it was for safety reasons. She said: "I don't care"!!! So being from LA/LB, I come to Lake Havasu with a bunch of my friends. Mostly of the Asian persuasion. I believe there were about 6 of us that walked in. Of course the whole ride to Arizona we jokingly repeat the fact that we're going to be increasing the Asian population in Lake Havasu City by about 300%. Little did we know the truth to our statement. The girl behind the counter looked at us funny and we jokingly said "Is this the most Asians you've ever seen in the store before?" The girl looks at us hesitantly and sheepishly shakes her head yes. All of us all start busting up. After picking up our alcohol and forgotten toilet trees (sorry i saw this on headlines last night) we realized that we didn't know how to get into the house that we were staying out. So we open the trunk and pull out a volleyball and start bumping it around in the parking lot. In summary, this CVS is good for alcohol, forgotten toiletries, really feeling like a minority, and playing volleyball. read more

I shop CVS all the time. This is a pharmacy only review. My doctor called a prescription in to this store without me knowing about it. If I had I would have gone somewhere else. I have a friend who is stuck with this pharmacy thru no fault of his own and he hates them. When I picked the prescription up there as no consultation even though the paperwork "clearly" required one. In all fairness I would have (and did) my own research but this medication carries some serious side effects and they should know better. Glad I showed the initiative. I can defiantly see how dangerous, or fatal, taking a medication could be without a consultation. I offered my prescription insurance card and there was little to no interest at even looking at it. When I asked if the medication was covered by my insurance the response was "it doesn't look like it." I mean, having never given them insurance information prior how would they even know!!! I just don't think this pharmacy cares about it prescription customers. Poor excuse for, and potentially dangerous, customer service if you ask me! read more

Had an appt for Covid test via drive thru this past Monday, 8/31/20. There were 4 of us and our appt ranging from 11am to 11:30am. We were in line at the drive thru about 5 minutes to 11. There were 4 cars in front of us. It was 12:40pm by the time we got to the window. It took about another hour or so processing our info to the point that we actually got the kit to do our self test. The whole experience from the time we got in line to the time everything was completed took almost 3 hours. Mind you it was over 100 degrees outside. Yes we have an ac but being idle for 3 hours we had to turn it on and off or the car was going to overheat. It defeats the purpose of being a drive thru process if its going to take this long even for 4 people. When we finally got to the window, the employee took our driver's license and insurance card. After about 20 minutes or so he would come back and verify a couple of info then leave, then come back again and verify a couple info then leave. This went on for about an hour or so. I understand the importance of verifying information, I worked in the health industry myself but an hour to process/verify info for 4 people is a bit much. The window was tinted very dark so you can't see inside. I don't know if it's the people or the process but there is definitely efficiency issue with the process or the people. read more

This store is clean and the employees are pleasant. I went there looking for some compression gloves. They don't carry them. I did get nice nail polish, but it was the gloves I needed. This is a basic item, they should carry these types of items, I know Walgreens does. read more

Not Understanding the importance right now of safety for my self and others during this crucial time with Corona virus is an understatement!!! My visit today I just picked up a picture I ordered online and took it to the side of the counter to view it and decided not to purchase it. My phone rang and I took the call and went way over to the side near no one. As I was hanging up the store employee manager very unprofessional reprimanded me scolded me and told me I was putting his employees in danger. NOT ONE PERSON ANY WHERE TO BE SEEN NEAR ME! please do not use this pharmacy did for 15 yrs ,service not good but today did it had 3 scripts 2 eye drops and 5 pain pills from eye surgery. called they said drops are done pain pills 45 mins ok so picked up packages got 4 ?? got home i tear my packages open but one had nothing in it gee it was the pain pills and then they threw in a script that was not ordered or for m the person i was picking up for ??? the pain pill package had been cut but still stapled an nothing in it anyway we went back said sry film shows you picked up the packages i was very mad said a word not acceptable was throw out of store wow corporate is checking into it and there is suppose to be a pharmcist name on package nope non so please be careful double check will wait to see what corporate has to say read more

This Pharmacy is the worst of the worst. I never expect to pick up same day. Even when allowing them extra days to fill a prescription, then they will confirm it is ready. We will arrive hours after they claim it is ready to give them extra time and they tell you they are running 2 - 3 hours behind. My wife and I are just sick of the lies and the lack professionalism. They should not confirm your prescription is ready and then ask you to wait another hour or tell you to go shopping. Terrible! Save your time & money and go somewhere else. read more

Came in yesterday and purchased an item that said it was around 7-8 dollars after I paid and got back to my room ( I'm tourist btw) I noticed afterwards coming the next day that they charged me full price for the item. After telling the cashier she told me we had to bring the shoes back the tag and the receipt back to get the money back. I like CVS for a lot of reasons, and like using their photo printing services when I am in no need of driving all the way out to Wal-Mart. They always have what I need, they have good sales, the store is clean and the employees are friendly and helpful. I deducted a star, because the location is hard to exit from sometimes being on the corner of Lake Havasu Avenue and Mesquite when the light backs traffic up right in front of one of the driveways. read more

I am probably going to be off all CVS stores because of this one. Four weeks ago, I went there to purchase contact lens solution. When the cashier scanned it, the item was rejected. Turns out this solution was on a nationwide recall. Whew! I contacted my optometrist, who told me what to buy instead. I purchased the alternate product from this store. Fast forward four weeks. I go back to the same store for more solution, and my original solution is back on the shelf! Or is it? When I tried to pay, it was again rejected. THEY HAD NEVER PULLED THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT OFF THE SHELF!!! So I said to myself, "How safe do I feel about this store? Would I fill a prescription here?" The answer was a resounding NO. Although they had the alternate product on the shelf, I walked out and drove across town to buy what I needed elsewhere. Leaving a recalled product on the shelf for a month is just irresponsible. And this is a DRUG store. Oh, and the moral of the story? WalMart, with all of the jokes being made about it, yanked the product the moment the recall was announced. read more

CVS has turned their pharmacists into part-time jazz trombone players. Pharmacists are instructed to dispense or to NOT dispense to prescription bearing customers according to how a pharmacists "feels". This means people with beady eyes will be run out of CVS without medicine. This may sound ridiculous but it's no joke. I've been picking up the exact same narcotic for several years and at the exact same CVS in Lake Havasu. Yesterday, my prescription (the same one that was filled last month) was deemed too shady to fill by pharmacy managers, John and Coleen. Why? The CVS corporate office claims their pharmacists are allowed to run pharmacy customers out of their store based on "feelings". An interesting side note: If you get run out of a CVS pharmacy, you likely won't know it. The pharmacist will simply lie about availability. read more

Just had a terrible experience at this location. First of all I waited in line for 35 mins only to find one rude employee working the window. After a curt exchange he told me I had to pay 180.00 or go inside to be helped. Now of course my other prescription was 11.99. He really could have offered that but you must remember it takes over 5 hours for them to fill a prescription. So I must ask, do they have enough help? Is the company too stingy with hours? Maybe someone called in or was sick not sure. But an epic fail today. Maybe try again tomorrow or try Walgreens two doors down. read more
