Even though their hours have changed & decreased, they are still a fantastic pharmacy in Kingman, AZ. Im not sure they have worked hard on trying to keep pharmacists & pharmaceutical technicians, but there's been many issues this last several months. Maybe Walgreens Corp should consider working with, AND LISTENING to these associates better, so they don't want to leave. Rachel is one of their best!! She's very kind, attentive, listens to you, and makes you feel like you're the "priority" when you're there! She should be the trainer fo all their NEW pharmaceutical techs! They need to keep her and make every effort to encourage her to stay....should she plan to ever leave, even if it means giving her a phenomenal raise to NOT lose her!! Just waited well over an hour in line at Walgreens. Walgreens has deteriorated into a joke. What was once the most successful pharmacy in America is now a joke. Going to change to Safeway. At least they aren't liars. read more

The Doctor's office stated that they faxed the prescription to Walgreens @ Airway & Stockton Hill, but when I went to pick it up Walgreens had NO prescriptions. The tech "Mark" was awesome in his relentless quest to get the prescription filled. Long story short, the doctors office lied, they sent the prescription to our MAIL ORDER PHARMACY NOT to our LOCAL pharmacy on file which is W-greens @ Stockton Hill & Airway and I don't know how many times I I gave this info. to the doctors office and even provided the store's number. We needed this to be filled and used right away it was a matter of life or death! The technicians and Pharmacist went above & beyond working on the phone with the mail order Pharmacy to cancel and fill the medications so desperately needed. The mail order pharmacy promptly managed to cancel the order and get the Insurance straightened and faxed the prescriptions, which Walgreens filled immediately. I thank them for their caring and their professionalism. I hope that they keep these people working there. read more

The pharmacy at this Walgreens has big problems. They don't have a permanent pharmacist and I was told they are now using a "rent a pharmacist." The pharmacy is closed on Saturday and Sunday now and only open from 10-6 pm. I've waited 5 days now to get my meds filled and waited on hold for 1.5 hours waiting to speak with someone then I finally hung up and showed up in person only to stand in line behind 20 people. This pharmacy is a JOKE, not only do they answer their phone, even after it rings in the pharmacy after waiting 15 to 25 minutes, they hang the phone up. Plus, besides filing the wrong prescription twice we had to go the store and get it corrected, it took 2 days to get the correct prescription. If you care about your health, don't walk, RUN AND FIND A NEW PHARMACY. We are finished with the idiots running this store. read more

Run do not walk to another pharmacy. This place is a joke. My wife needed a prescription and asked to have it filled. First they told they were out. Then was told it would be done today. Went today, now supposedly didn't have an active prescription. Sent all prescriptions to Safeway. Have had problems since we've been living here. read more

Do not use this pharmacy. They need to be shut down. After 3 days of them losing my authorization forms that insurance company sent multiple times. Nathan the pharmacist couldn't be bothered to complete pages 1&6 of the authorization and fax back to my ins company. Pages 1&6 just requested general info about the pharmacy which should be a piece of cake since he works there and is the pharmacist and isn't that protocol for all prescriptions? My insurance company even contacted them multiple times and Nathan stated he was too busy yet not one person in either drive thru or in store lines not to mention 3 days they have had. Then the lady working in drive thru line said hey it's a emergency fill Nathan and he waved the papers in the air like he was going to throw them and said well if I get around to it it's a lot of paperwork. So I got to Walgreens around 7 am it's now wasted yet another day and the end result was that Nathan is suppose to send my Rx over to CVS so they can fill because Nathan could not be bothered to do his job. I asked how long it would take for transfer to new pharmacy and Nathan said well when would you like me to transfer it cause it could take hours for me to do it. Then I said now please since I'm about to go back to hospital cause my blood pressure is 194/142 and that's critical not only that but that's what it was before going to get my pills . I can only imagine what it went up to dealing with some smart mouth punk like the pharmacist Nathan . I called store manager when I got to hospital which would not have been necessary if Nathan would have done his job. But the store manager told me that CVS now has my Rx and that it was transferred so I left the hospital and went to CVS. CVS had yet to get it in their que at the end of the day then I was told that they have to request it from walgreens and now I'm waiting for another 2 days. My ins co also informed me that AZ is one of the worst places to handle out of state Rx issues unless you go to a CVS in Phoenix which is about 3 hrs from me but after this experience I'd rather drive the 3 hrs. So needless to say I am not dead yet and store mgr also told me that CVS had my Rx and I believe Nathan deleted them from the system because now no one has my Rx and this is because of some unhappy employee who wasted his money on college to do a job he is not read more

They filled my prescription promptly, and the pharmacist was very down to earth and polite, and I would highly recommend this pharmacy.

Great place. I have a skin condition and the doctor issued me a prescription to remedy the issue. Do not have any insurance for medications. What they do here is discount the item for the consumer. Wow! Discounted and pain relief at the same time. I have to say they are considerate, caring and respectful of the customer. Hope no one has a need for medications, but if you consider the Walgreens if you want to save a few dollars on any purchase in the future. read more

These people are IDIOTS!!!!! My brother in law and I went in. He bought some beer. I am 52 and he is 58. He was buying it but they wouldn't sell it to us because I didn't have my ID on me. He had his and was going to pay for it with his bank card. I'm 52 years old if you didn't catch that earlier and NO I don't look young for my age.i don't drink and he had nothing to drink, so it wasn't that we we're driving either.They would not sell it to him because I was "in his party" so another words if you went in there to buy a bottle of wine and you had your child with you you couldn't buy it either because the child is with you in "your party" this place has got to change there stupid store policies. read more

Being an outta towner you never know what you will get. A friend sustained an injury. I immediately was assisted by some great workers on where to find guaze, first aid packs, cotton, Q-T's tape and bandages. All the staff here were fantastic despite it being a few minutes before closing. My friend is doing well. Couldn't ask for such great superior excellent service. read more

I've lived in Kingman my whole life. I remember when the first Walgreens was built. I used to be a customer, but not anymore. I've NEVER had a good experience there! Long, LONG lines are my main problem. They don't have enough workers! It REALLY IS a horrible experience every time! Today my grandparents switched all their prescriptions across the street to CVS. I called on Saturday afternoon to discuss an issue I was having at Walmart with my insulin prescription. Walmart's tech informed me I could not longer just get two Lantus pens at a time, that I would now be required to buy 5 pens at a time. Whew, that's a lot of money for a person living on a Social Security to pay at one time. I spoke with Dorothy in Walgreens pharmacy and she was so very helpful, professional, and downright kind. She set me up with a profile and now I'll be able to get my Lantus there, one or two pens, or whatever I need. She even offered to contact Walmart to do the transfer. We have to wait on that because this Tue. my doctor is upping my dose but on Tuesday I'll be using the drive-up at Walgreens. I am so relieved. Maybe I'll change all my prescriptions to Walgreens. read more

Rude! Poor customer service skills. I visited the pharmacy. Because I had been traveling, my credit card has a watch for unauthorized charges. As this Walgreen's is so far from my regular store, the bank put a hold on the charge. You would think I was some kind of criminal from the way I was treated. Even after the bank released the charge, they were just rude and suspicious. I will look for another store in the area to buy my prescriptions. Very bad experience! read more

I ended up needing to fill prescriptions at this pharmacy while I was traveling, and I was pleasantly surprised at the experience. My prescriptions were ready within 30 minutes of being sent in by the urgent care clinic. When there was an insurance problem with one of the medications (name brand vs. generic), the pharmacy tech took care of the issue right away. read more

I think they are an average pharmacy. They're a couple people there at are helpful and some others that are coasting. There are a lot of regulations for pharmacies. Walgreens prices at this store are a bit high but it's convenient. They have the 20% off senior discount day that makes their pricing almost competitive. Amazon and Walmart are still less expensive on most items. read more

My former review yeah I would go, they just lost a 5 star review. What happened to all the good nice employees? I have never seen such a disrespectful Manager and Assistant Manager. My Daughter presents a coupon American Spirit one pack for $2. The clerk rang the American Spirit at $15 and charged her $3.38 tax. That is like saying we are selling a car for $8888 and have it on sale for $5000 but you have to pay the tax on the $8888. Trying to get the point across was completely useless. If you plan on contacting any management in Kingman wear make-up otherwise they treat you like trailer trash if you don't and if you do, they couldn't be nicer. Shame I liked this store, now I won't set foot in it. I know Kingman has a reputation and maybe it's time to move out. As far as this location never again. I contacted corporate and will keep you updated. This was my previous review: I will go out of my way for this Walgreens. I am now a regular. Needed help with missed points, they got right on the phone. The staff here is simply amazing, helpful and friendly. When I needed assistance they went out of there way. One thing that amazes me is when my daughter purchased make-up the clerk found a coupon. That is excellent "Guest Service," in my book.
