Well, I finally made my way to the viral Buc-ee's…read more Everything you heard about this place... Is most likely true....( well at least the good things) A teenage tik tok dream When i visited this store on a Friday morning And Sunday afternoon It was like Black Friday in summer Kids everywhere completely packed The noise level was so loud i couldn't even hear my friend standing next to me The bathroom was immaculate Not sure how they keep up With the high volume of people using it I got a brisket sandwich It was ok Not the best, not the worst The cookies were good The peanut butter flavored one stood out to me Customer service Especially when you consider How many people the employees deal with in 24hrs I believe buc-ee's should be experienced by everyone It reminded me of times when people used to go to malls When everyone was outside Buc-ee's is more than just stepping into a store It's a complete experience

I'm a die-hard fan of all the weird and wonderful that is Buc-ee's, but despite this being my…read moremost-frequented location, this one falls flat. Buc-ee's is more than a gas station... it's an experience! This one sits a little past halfway on the Nashville-to-Atlanta drive, so a lot of us hit it often, and that's my main gripe: it is way, way too crowded. Almost every visit, even off-peak, there's traffic just getting off the highway and into the lot. They don't manage it well for a lot this size, and it always feels like you're one distracted driver away from a fender bender. Parking is tough, sometimes requiring circling around or parking far away. I come here mostly for the clean bathrooms, so having to wait in line for the women's restroom on two recent visits felt outrageous given there must be fifty stalls in there. Inside, weird and tasty snacks galore. Everyone says get the brisket and jerky, but insiders know the breakfast burritos are the true star, fresh-made flour tortillas and all. The highlight of my last stop was dill pickle sour straws, handed out as samples, excellent. The sugar-roasted candied pecans look tempting but are rarely actually fresh and warm at this location, which is frustrating. Then there's a warehouse-worth of home goods, clothing, house supplies, and anything you can print a Bucc-ee on. The t-shirts are my favorite, absurdly soft, my fave for sleeping in. This spot is ultimately still a classic Buc-ee's experience. But the crowds and the traffic and the general hassle make me think twice about stopping. Gas here is cheap, though not the cheapest on the route.

You can rent a bike or take a Segway tour. The most important thing is the fun friendly staff there. I know most of them by name and vice versa. And no joke, they looked super delicious. Cheesy, creamy, meat and carbs: omg. Lots of wine and beer. Tons and tons of gifts and trinkets to take home and commemorate your mountain visit. I didn't photograph much of it but they had great items. There's a bar to eat or sip your coffee right near the front or a large side room with ample seating. The breakfast biscuit sandwiches were off the chart! If they weren't homemade biscuits, I don't want to know because they were delicious. Definitely stop in here. Even if just for a vitamin water or a memento, it's a fab little market. They've got you covered!

Don't sleep on this little convenience store!…read more Located just down the steps from the main area of Decatur Square, this store is just a hop and a skip from one of my fave woman-owned gyms, Clarity Decatur. When I've been at Clarity, I always find myself needing a quick little something and always check into Square to see if they have what I'm needing. Before one event at Clarity, I found that I didn't have batteries for our LED sign. I couldn't image getting in my car and going to a local store for them and didn't know if Square would have any but, why the heck not. I was so hype when I went in and was told that they had batteries - YES! Because what the heck is a Yelp event without those LED letters? LOL. I also love to get some extra energy prior to events with a Celsius and a snack, and they're always stocked up, clean and super welcoming. Little in size, massive on the convenience level!
