I really dislike this pharmacy. I had a discount card for a prescription at $18. They would not honor the price and wanted to charge more than double the documented price They won't answer the phone They are slow They are unfriendly Some are rude I sat in the drive up window for 15 minutes and there was no movement at all. I walked up to find out what was happening. They rudely said the "system was down " they were too lazy to walk out and tell the people in line that there was a problem. They are efficient, smart, fast and caring. Excellent pharmacy that even has a drive-thru.

Everyone here is so friendly and helpful, especially at the pharmacy area. Even if they are busy they always try to help people as quickly as possible. You will even hear the pharmacist say things like "I hope you feel better soon." read more

There is almost always a very long line, both inside and drive-through. The employees seem overworked, provide poor customer service, and a couple of them are just rude and unprofessional. This location could really use some corporate quality assurance. read more

Boy, when we moved to La Quinta and transferred our prescriptions to this CVS we expected the same outstanding service we were used to receiving from our Santa Monica/Target CVS. It's simply not been the case. There is no friendly neighborhood vibe-disappointing considering La Quinta is a essentially a "small town". And today, using the drive up, the pharmacy rep took the car who arrived after us and then didn't even ask if we had additional question about our meds AFTER she delivered the goods. Kept trying to get me to pay out of pocket so they dont have to "hassle" with ins authorization. They seemed to be hassled by everything they had to do. When dealing with a workers comp injury the pharmacy staff asked me to pay up front since they didn't have time to process the through the workers comp insurance. I am still waiting on a refund. Also the pharmacist took my receipt and rx info in order to get get it approved after the fact. They sent me home with a medication I am allergic too, even though I told them the previous time that I am allergic. The staff seems bothered when you pickup your medications like you are putting them out. It took 3 times around their drive through line to pickup the appropriate prescription. read more

Worst pharmacy in the valley. Always out of meds and they never let you know. Please use any other place and maybe this one will be forced to close. Sorry but this pharmacy is beyond bad. My prescription wasn't ready as promised, attitude of pharmacy staff was poor, follow-up service non-existent. While waiting, I observed people were disappointed because their order wasn't ready or available! One customer waited in pickup window lineup for 1/2 hour then came in store and was told they didn't have her medication. So very disappointing. read more

This review is regarding the pharmacy, and a white older female cashier. This woman is the rudest lady I have encountered, and CVS needs to send her to training on customer service. For instance, I gave her my information, name/DOB, she goes and grabs my medications and starts charging me. I ask if I can see the medications before she starts ringing them up because it seemed like too many. She rudely says, sure, as if I'm wasting her valuable time by disrupting her scanning of sku codes. I go through the medications and realize she is giving me another customers medications. She quickly changed her tone when I brought it to her attention. That was one instance, but she is consistently rude and dismissive. It doesn't matter if I walk in and greet her with a smile. The woman looks miserable and hates her job. I know she can be nice to certain people because I've seen her, but I guess it depends if she knows you or not. Either way, she needs to be in the back stalking and away from the public because I am sick of dealing with her unhappy moods. Oh, and one last thing, I walk in at 1:30 p.m., and she's standing at the cashier station and says, we are close from 1 to 2, but helps ring up another guest. Again, her service or lack of service depends on if she knows you or not. I hope she retires soon!!! Until that time, I will most likely ask my doctor to send my medication to a different pharmacy to avoid her. read more

This pharmacy continues to disappoint! The only reason why my mom goes here is because of her crappy insurance. These are the laziest unprofessional staff. They're lack of knowledge and care at minus 1 star. We paid for a prescription and didn't get it. Not surprised since the girl at the drive through ahold have been working at McDonald's, not at a pharmacy where peoples lives are on the line. She couldn't answer my questions on a medication like "what is this for" then sent it to AZ then made us wait 20 minutes to fix her mistake. After realizing my mom didn't get what she paid $37 for I called talked with nugyun who assured she would look at cameras and fix this and get right back to me. She never called me back so I went in and dealt with another lack luster employee. Who said when I have time I can come in and they will check the cameras. Um I have time now!!! All happy she wanted me to see 3 bags were given to us, but the antibiotics were not one of them. We are not looking for anything free or a handout. Just what we paid for. If they do their job I'm sure the inventory will show up with an extra antibiotic for my poor moms eyes. I said I just need her meds I don't care what it cost. Do you think anyone acted like they cared? Not from this dump!!! We are so sick dealing with these people!!! No compassion or apologies. Can't wait until her insurance changes. We are Snow Birds. The CVS in Oregon is wonderful. This one has a very rude person in the pharmacy whom I always seem to get on the phone. She is difficult for me to understand and lacks patience, compassion, and customer service skills in general she gave me an explanation about not being able to fill my prescription from Oregon, and then turned around and said it would be ready on the 11th and I said I'm sorry I don't understand and she restated her explanation in a lengthy, hurried, Irritated manner that still made no sense and finished it by saying "I hope you understand that!" in a very snotty tone. I don't need this stress from rude people and needless to say will be looking for a better pharmacy. I am talking about the CVS on the corner of Fred Waring and Jefferson. Thank you. if i could leave zero stars i would. stopped by around 7 pm to look for some snacks and face product. one of the workers was following me around and then came up to me and asked me to step aside. she accused me of putting things in my pocket. i had everything i was buying in my hands and was very confused as to why. maybe she was profiling me because of how i look but i felt so uncomfortable. she said i look suspicious because i was walking back and forth. i was walking back and forth because i couldn't find what i was looking for. please train your employees correctly on how to handle that. it's also easter and that caused a lot of unnecessary stress for me. no one should be made to feel like they're doing something wrong when they're simply looking around a shop. she had long brown hair and a rude face. read more

Not all that long ago this was a good pharmacy. I understand how people do not care about anyone else but themselves but what kind of employee allows someone to sit in the drive-thorugh line 20 minutes while thier prescription is filled? Some selfish horrible person who is too lazy to go into the store and the employee does not even ask them to come back to pick it up. Anyway Walgreens is even worse but I really am going to look into getting my prescriptions via mail rather than deal with such horrible customer service. read more

I have been here quite a few times and am always surprised on what they carry every time! They sell beer, wine and spirits as well. It's limited in selection as oppose to an actual grocery store, but they still have a good amount. They have a pharmacy section as well. There staff is always friendly and helpful. It's a prime location to be, but they do have competition across the street. read more

CVS Pharmacy - Outside - Drugstores Near Me - La Quinta, California

Called this place to ask if they had my medication in stock. They wouldn't tell me over the phone. So I drove there. Guess what? They didn't have it. They told me to go to another CVS location that "had it in stock". So I did. When I got there they told me that they didn't have it in stock. They also said that they didn't get a call from the other CVS asking if they had it in stock. So the guy at the first place just lied because he was lazy? Or incompetent? Not sure. You decide. This company is terrible. They never have their sh-t together. Ever. read more

very unorganized for covid vaccination. husband and i had appointment at 11 and arrived a few minutes prior. we were confused as to where to go and had checked-in online and stood beside the booth waiting for help. the people behind the counter were staring, but looked a bit busy with drive through so we assumed they'd be over shortly to help. as we're waiting a lady hangs a sign up at 11:15 for covid vaccine check-in across the store. we walk over and get caught behind two families. the lady who helped said if you checked-in on the phone you could head over to the booth, from when we just walked over from. we've been here for 40 minutes and still three people ahead to receive the shot, even though we've been in the facility patiently waiting.. read more

I came to redeem some cvs bucks I got last month while visiting the CVS in Indian Wells. For some unknown reason the account number on the rewards didn't match my account (I'm guessing the woman at IW put my number in wrong? Idk. How many of you know ur CVS #? Show of hands?). I only had the bottom part of the receipt because I wasn't going to carry around a 4ft long receipt everywhere with me..but apparently I was supposed to since the manager asked for it. The ONLY reason I went in was to get $3 off an energy drink. I guess correcting this strange mistake was gonna break their bank. I walked out feeling just so completely embarrassed and like they thought I must have stole someone else's $3 off rewards. I refuse to do business at CVS anymore. Seriously hard to consider how the term customer service can be applied to this pharmacy. Ordered a three month supply of my medication refill, and received a message saying that it wouldn't be ready and had to be ordered. Since it's a medication that I have to take daily and have only a few left, I called to see if I could get a few pills until the prescription ordered arrives. I waited 30 minutes on hold listening to the loop of constant sales pitches for different vaccines without ever reaching a human voice. I went through the same process twice. The third time I did reach a girl who said she couldn't do anything unless I bought the 30 days that they did have in stock. I mentioned the cost difference, and she said nothing. I finally gave up and said I'd take the 30 days at the higher cost, but that is transfer my script for future refills. She hung up on me. The girl was completely uninterested in helping me, or anyone for that matter. I'll never buy any from CVS again. Incredible apathy toward customers concerns or needs. read more

I absolutely love the pharmacy staff at the Jefferson/Fred Waring store! Always friendly and helpful and they always get my prescriptions ready quickly and correctly. Stay away from the Washington Street CVS if you can help it. They do have one efficient pharmacist but he works the night shift. read more

Do not come here to get your prescription filled if you are from out of town. They will deny you. They say it's a corporate policy. This is ridiculous. I have a valid ID my doctor can validate the Rx and it is a legal prescription. I will never shop here and encourage all out of towners to do the same. Rude people, poor service. read more

I love within one mile from a CVS, on Jackson St Indio. I needed an emergency prescription for my wife with terminal cancer. This pharmacy would not fill the prescription and I had to go four miles to another CVS on Jefferson St. They would deliver but deliveries are made. After closing hours, after 9:00 PM. Requested early morning. I am a retired Police Office and have responded immediately to drug stores when requested. Something should be done to correct your policy read more

Go there if you want to be treated badly. I purchased a hair color at another CVS near my son's school. When I went to use it. Guess what, the product I thought I purchased was not in the box. Some cheap brand had replaced it. I thought I could take it back to my local CVS no problem. I had the receipt. Not only was I treated like a liar. The cashier and the manager spoke Spanish between them thinking this yokle couldn't understand. Wrong. Finally, I was given a refund. All I wanted was what I paid for. I kept asking. Do you have this color? Without being answered. I paid with debit. You think they would give me cash back. Nope. It had to be placed back on my bank like a credit card. The credit as yet to show in my account. The red machine which gives you coupons. Convientlty out of order. Nobody jumped to fix it either. I had several coupons due to me for free stuff but that didn't matter. I was followed through the store like a criminal. Turns out they had boxes of the color. Hmm. I'm glad your stock is not doing well. Yes, I invest in the stock market too. No wonder why there are always cop cars parked out front. read more
