Was in a car accident and went to the pharmacy at 5:55pm to have my prescriptions filled, not knowing that they closed at 6pm. The assistant store manager went behind the Rx pick up counter and when I asked if they were open, she asked if I wanted to pick up. When I said no, I had prescriptions to fill, she said they were closed and I would have to come back the next day. While I understand that they wanted to be able to be gone by 6pm, at the least they should have taken my prescription so that it would be ready 1st thing in the morning when I went in to pick it up. Because they were the closest pharmacy and I was relying on a friend to take me, I did go back the next morning, arriving at approximately 10:05am, 5 minutes after they opened. It took at least 15 minutes for them to fill my prescriptions and while in the scheme of things, not a long time to wait, when you're in pain, it can seem that way. My friend, who had a similar occurance with them, asked to speak to the asst manager who had spoken to me the day before. She arrived around 5 minutes or so longer after her page, and rather than being apologetic about her attitude of the day before, was rude and totally unconcerned about our complaint, and the fact that we intended to report her to the district manager. I will be following up with the district management and will let them know that it will be my last shopping experience at this particular CVS store. read more
