The store was well stocked and easy to navigate, most items were not behind lock and key and there were even a few useful souvenirs at great prices. Manager Carlo Romero is a jerk. I went to CVS with my wife and two daughters, who are 10 and 16. We selected 6-8 items, including a bottle of Malibu rum that I selected from a refrigerator, and placed them on the only open register counter. The customers in front of us were taking a long time with their purchase, so the cashier called for another register to be opened. Carlo went to the adjacent register and announced that he would help next in line. My wife, daughter and I each moved a couple items from one register to another. Carlo began scanning as soon as the first item, a kitchen utensil, reached him. He scanned it and slammed it back on the counter. My obviously underage 16 yr old daughter moved the rum and another item from register counter to register counter, and Carlo said that he needed to see her ID. I told him I selected the bottle, and she was just moving the items from counter to counter. He said it didn't matter, she touched it, she needs to show ID, and he wasn't going to accept that she was unwittingly just trying to expedite the transaction. My wife and I, both retail managers with more experience than Carlo is old, realized that Carlo was a jerk, probably having a bad day and incapable of rational thought. I understand the law regarding alcohol purchase, but Carlo was just an ass. We left our entire purchase, and we went to nearby El Don liquor store. We received great service from Amir, and we pledged to never step foot inside of CVS again. read more

Went to this location to pick up a money gram go to the phone put all of my information in get confirmationgo to cash register only to find out they cannot give me any cash over 500.00 why not post a sign saying a limit instead f wasting my time. I go to this CVS all the time. Always has what I need, always looks clean, the staff is always friendly and helpful, and I absolutely LOVE the pharmacists! A+! Also, if you have CVS card, you get some pretty amazing deals! If you get your pictures printed here (which I've done multiple times!!) double check the printer before you leave. I discovered a bunch of my photos had actually fallen IN THE PRINTER and I had to dig them out from behind the door of the machine! Yikes! Friendly staff! Always ready to help you find what you need. The problem is sometimes they don't have the medicine in stock that I need and I have to wait or ask them to refer me to another location that has it. Also they close early for being the closest location to me in HB. They close between 5-7pm depends on what day of the week. At least open till 10:00pm would be cool. read more

This review is for the pharmacy. The pharmacist was rude and un-accommodating. She decided to go on her lunch break before helping me with my prescription even though I was the ONLY customer in the store, and she was completely rude about it "I'm going on lunch so you're going to have to wait 45 minutes." I was shocked because it was so unprofessional. Some people think they're the only ones with busy days. It would have taken 10 minutes out of hers. I don't have time for people to treat me like that so I will be going to Walgreens next time I want to get something done. read more

Had to drop off a prescription here to transfer for pick-up at another location. Pharmacist said it wasn't possible even though I had just confirmed it was via customer service. She made me do all the work on the phone to reconfirm this was possible, going through CVS's automated customer service a second time. When they convinced her it was permissable, she served every other customer on line before processing the prescription. read more

This has to be THE worst pharmacy in the country. They open at 10 am and close at 6 pm (I think)!!! So unless you plan on picking up you "life saving" pills on the weekend or your vacation... I called corporate back in July and never heard back. I filed a complaint because I had bought some over-the-counter medication and most of it was expired. I bought roughly 5 packets of medicine and 3 of the 5 had expired months prior to when I purchased it. Working in healthcare I definitely know you cannot be selling expired medication. It's very upsetting know that they had done this and never followed up regarding this matter when I was told the regional manager would get back to me. I'm taking my pennies elsewhere. I'm giving this 5 Stars because of the pharmacist and some of the other employees. Other than that, I would give this place a 1 star review. Not that anyone from a corporate level is or ever will read this, but I must describe my situation at this time. This comes out of utter frustration! A pharmacy that opens after I go to work and closes before I leave work. Sounds like the place for me. Oh, go to another CVS you say? I can't. This is the only CVS in the area that carries my medication. And before you chime in and Walgreens or something else, I've tried this places too. The only other place in the area is Costco. So, for the last 2 years, this has been my spot. Most of the time I walk in on Saturday, but it happens that I ran out before the weekend. And before you ask, It is a medication that has to be renewed monthly, and I can't just order it ahead of time. I tried that awhile ago and was shot down. So, here's my story...I walked in here at 7:01pm yesterday and it was locked down and not a soul in sight. So you either have SWAT and Navy Seal trained pharmacists that are able to lock down an entire pharmacy and are swift enough to vacate the premises in less than a minute or you shut it down early. I'm going to go with the former... So on to the next morning... I walk in at 10:05 (they open at 10:00). So I wait, and I wait... I see the pharmacist on the phone, checking a prescription perhaps of the guy in front of me. She seems a little frustrated as well. It is now 10:15 and I'm writing this review as I am still waiting. So it looks like I'll be 45 minutes late to work, even though it's only 15 minutes away. The pharmacist is super nice and she apologized for the long wait. I think she needs some assistants to help her out though. I will be back, just frustrated with how my morning is going. read more

This is one of the few places in the Downtown area that does not price gouge tourists so as a result, most of the locals shop here. Prices are good, location is good, variety of products is good. This review is for the Asian middle aged pharmacist named Cindy N. First off she had an awful attitude working at the pharmacy and was very rude. Probably one of the worst experiences to date at a cvs. She made a scene saying my prescription was not valid because of my age and continued to raise her voice telling me to get out of her store without me leaving me room to say a single word to her... Quite frankly I was speechless at the situation and her actions. She called security to escort me out and the security guard was confused as well... She even continued to yell at me while I was leaving the store and when my back was turned saying things like "never come back here" and "bye" waving her hand obnoxiously, this was really shocking and was highly unprofessional. Lastly I want to mention she snatched the prescription out of my hand when she took it and ignored me while calling the number on the prescription when I was trying to asking whether if I should wait or come back at another time to pick up the medication.
