Every time I call this pharmacy no matter what time of day they always leave you on hold for 30 minutes or longer. You can hear when they briefly take you off hold and quickly place you back on hold without saying a word. They're attitudes are so undesirable and unprofessional when you have a question. I think it's extremely bad to work with the public and possibly people that are not feeling well already and they have to endure this kind of behavior. read more

My accounts are based on over a dozen incidents. To be fair I wanted to note this since a single bad experience doesn't necessarily mean an issue. However, if this case my recounts are chronic and consistent. This pharmacy is completely incompetent. The hood times on the phone are exorbitant. The attitudes of the pharmacists are negative and disrespectful. They do not properly fill prescriptions. They are incompetent at ordering prescriptions even with significant notice. Anyone with heath conditions would be at risk trusting this pharmacy to be able to deliver medicines in a timely manner. read more

Last September, I went into the store after seeing the weekly sales ad, hoping to find a "buy one, get TWO deal" for those concentrated laundry soap packet thingies. Those of you who have read my reviews know that I am a bit of a frugal (read: cheap...lol) person and I like a good deal. Here's a hint for everyone, even if the item is not available, the store will normally give you a raincheck to come back later. I was fine with that and I didn't expect to find the item anyway, considering the great sale. When I walked into the store, I looked for the item just to make sure it wasn't available and I did a little more shopping. I asked the manager to check the back for the specific scent I needed (the unscented, dye-free) and she there were no more. However, they had some "mountain fresh scented" ones. I explained to her about my allergies to those types of soaps and she told me that because of the "great sale", she couldn't write a rain-check. I asked if that verbiage appeared in the ad and she said no but, that was common knowledge amongst the managers and it was store policy. I didn't want to argue or let my ice cream melt so I just left the store. I subsequently called CVS customer care and her statements were wrong and they confirmed it with the store manager. He invited me back to the store and he happily subsituted a similar item for the same deal. The moral people? Fight for those deals!!! read more

Probably the most unprofessional pharmacy I have ever been to in my life. If I could rate this a 0 star I would. I went to this location to give them my prescriptions one day prior to the date of when I was told all 4 of them would be readily available. I arrived the following day thinking I gave them ample amount of time being that it was nearly 1 hour before closing time and I had yet to receive a phone call. My fiancé and I have to walk in there because the drive-through was temporarily out of service. (I'm not even sure how/why a CVS pharmacy drive-through window could possibly be closed but to my surprise it exists.) As my fiancé attempts to gather all of my meds we were told that there was only one prescription available and that the others were set for pickup at the previous location I used to go to. My question was "are you sure because I was told yesterday while dropping off my prescriptions that they would be available here?" To no surprise the prescriptions I brought the day prior to be filled couldn't have possibly made it into their system because the tech was most likely too lazy and forgetful to make the change. The pharmacist was unpleasant as well and i just found the whole experience to be very unpleasant. I am now writing this review because I am suffering due to their negligence and unprofessionalism. Ok selection, decent service. I've been a CVS girl in every city I've lived in. I've always felt safe with their level of customer service and conscientious pharmacy staff. I feel the same about this CVS. They are generally efficient, They have Spanish-speaking staff. They have a decent selection of things one might find in a pharmacy -- vitamins and supplements, OTC medications, blood pressure cuffs, canes, etc. They've never made a mistake filling my prescriptions. But like I said, their service and selection are only "ok" and "decent." Sometimes they're awfully slow. Sometimes they're less than friendly. One time one got attitude with me over a pre-certification my insurance wanted for a rx. I know from personal work experience that it's a pain. But it's part of the job to deal with precerts. Being snappy with a customer in the process isn't necessary. Another time I had to go back to the pharmacy 3 times to get a prescription I'd called in before I went the first time. Each time I had other rxs to pick up, so I didn't notice it wasn't in the bag until I got home. My fault for not checking the second time, but also their fault for not detecting that they hadn't ever picked it up/paid for it. I take exception that the condoms are locked up. There are folks who want to have safe sex, but who aren't going to feel comfortable going to the desk and waiting for an employee to come over and unlock the case and stand there as they make their selection. I see it as a disservice to their customers and an impediment to public health efforts (and you'd think they'd have a better awareness, being near the second largest medical center in the world...). Likewise I took exception to having to find a male employee to unlock $10 electric razor for me. (The razor was, btw, well within line of sight of the cash register, with an anti-theft strip attached...yet they were worried it'd still walk off...). Mostly just inconveniences, but by far not my favorite pharmacy experience. 3 stars. read more

I use to love this cvs but all the original pharmacist left and they left me with lazy ones that never answer any questions and just say call your doctor. I used to go often to this CVS location but just got tired of some of the rude people that work there. Today after a while decided to try this location again. Very rarely I had been greeted by the cashiers. I had noticed multiple times that some of them had look at me, trust me they had not been even busy and they just ignore me. Then other people walk in and they are greeted, one after the other. Unfortunately, I had noticed it so often already that I had brought it to the attention of three different cashiers already in the past. Today, I walked in and the cashier (her name is Iris) saw me and was not even with a customer but turned her head without a greeting. Three different customers walked in right after me, while I was watching she greeted three times one after the other. I don't expect to be greeted if they are busy but if I notice that they only greet randomly for one reason or the other, I feel that this is wrong and bad customer service. Iris (cashier) when I brought it to your attention today it was wrong that you denied seeing me. I am 100% sure. Also you said that "it did not matter." I told you twice that it mattered to me. If mattered so much that I took the time to write and emphasize how rude you are and to advise other shoppers to go to another store if possible, if they really want to feel welcome and treated with respect. These people will never change and it's sad... smarts and no training on how to work with their customers. CVS, you should hide your pharmacists and don't allow them to come from the back. I've always had good service from the pharmacy here. The staff is quick and courteous. Refilling my prescription is a breeze on the automated phone service and they always have it ready well before the time I request. I also like that they text to let me know when my prescription is ready! read more

I would never go here again. They are unethical and dishonest. We had a prescription for iron pills. Pharmacist said they had over the counter ones and charge us $66.00. They did not have all of our meds so we went to Walgreens for the rest of our meds. We gave Walgreens our Rx for other meds and iron pills, and he filled the same iron pills for $11.00. We went back to address the issue next day since pharmacy was already closed. The clerk was extremely rude and basically said too bad. I don't not recommend you go to a place that will rip people off. I plan to file a complaint to Pharmacy board and will tell everyone to be careful. read more

The best pharmacy in town. Super competent pharmacists that fill my complicated prescriptions right the first time. Call ahead a day or two if you have an obscure medication and they'll find a way to get it to you. read more
