Went to their pharmacy for a Flu shot and Covid shot and first off they did not say the machine that dispenses the vaccine's was having issues and kept me waiting for almost an hour past my scheduled appointment time of 0930 with no explanation. When I inquired if the Covid vaccine person was in I was informed that the dispensing/tracking machine had issues and was being worked on. Then the Pharmacist told the entire CVS Pharmacy team that she doesn't care about anybody waiting or their feelings and that her license is the one on the line. That in my opinion was very unprofessional and should not have been said for all customers to hear. That attitude does not make me want to patron this Pharmacy in the future. read more

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever had to deal with! They can never get my insurance to work right in their system, never answer the telephone. I had recent shoulder surgery and had pain meds prescribed. I was on hold 3 different times for a total of 5 hours. They never answered. Finally, I had to get the store manager to assist. They filled the order the next day after 4pm! I had to literally get out of bed and go to the pharmacy in my pajamas to deal with what should have been a simple transaction! The pharmacist who claims to be employed at the Hope Mills NC store is incredibly unprofessional and insanely rude. She yelled at me in the store because she was bragging how mean she is and I responded what a good job she was doing in proclaiming just that. I was in so much pain as I had to listen to her hurl comments in what a terrible person I was. I was driven to tears because of her. I'm considering legal action against this individual and CVS. Stay away from this horrible pharmacy! read more

Second time I've been in CVS and the pharmacy (Roshanda) has violated my privacy and HIPA laws regarding my prescription's! when it happened the first time, I called CVS and complained, now I'm in there again and instead of pulling me to the side, Roshanda reads out my prescription's with customer behind me! I said you could have done that in private and instead of apologizing she says I have to read what's on the screen it's the policy. policy requires you to yell out customers prescription's? read more

Upon walking in, the gentleman Rickie greeted me with a loud Hi! Welcome to CVS! Let me know if you need anything :) He pointed me in the direction of what I was looking for (hair products) and gave me a smile. I spent about 15 minutes and then I went to cash out. CVS Pharmacy - CVS!!!!!! - Drugstores Near Me - HOPE MILLS, North Carolina

They have greatly improved their service since my last review. Although they still are not Johnny-on-the-spot in filling online orders, their phone system handling has greatly improved. I have given up on the drive through and now walk-in for my prescriptions, but it's easier to stand in line for 5 minutes than to sit in my car for 30 minutes. The staff is friendly and they really do try their best. I have always had my prescriptions filled correctly here with no difficulties. Kudos, CVS, for making improvements. read more

Should have checked reviews before I switched pharmacies due to closer location!! The other reviews are correct. The pharmacy really is horrible. I have had many mix ups with them from getting my medication mixed up to getting my child's name and info mixed up... I did not receive a freebie to write this review. I've been coming to this CVS ever since they came to this location. Finally, I have found a home after so many pharmacies messing up or out of medicine. Not one time do I remember a messed up order or having to wait an unreasonable amount of time. Ok folks here is the good. LOCATION. Easy in/easy out. No fighting with Hope Mills Traffic. The bad sorry but there is a lot. Frankly this CVS needs a complete redone. It's dirty and crudy. I have never walked in this CVS without seeing junk all over the place. Let's call it clutter. Clutter in the aisles, 1/2 stocked shelves...and one must tip toe over the "stuff". The Pharmacy tries their best to keep up with filling orders. They are very professional which is the bright spot in this otherwise very yucky CVS. Other employees: Good Grief..if one is not cracking her gum where you can hear it at a distance the other talks so loud in a Kindergarten Teachers voice, I almost felt like I should sit down in Chris Cross Applesause or I might have to be sent in the corner. Worst place to fill a prescription. We have had the same prescription filled three times and every time we have had problems, everything from the wrong amount of medication to not having the order even though it was clearly called in. I must admit I am not always easy to deal with, but there is a right way and a wrong way of approaching a subject. Let me start off with saying this....refusing to fill a child's medication simply because you dont like the way the child's parent is talking is absolutely rediculous. I took my son's ADHD medication to the pharmacy to be filled. Now mind you, the prescription is written on two prescription cards because the doctor wants it separated into two bottles, one for school and one for home. Total dosage amount is 60 pills, one dose in the am and one dose at noon (while he is at school). Big lady in the window refused to fill the medication without any explanation just rudely said it needs to be on one card, not two. So i call the doctor's office, who graciously writes a new prescription with the exact same thing on the new card as it did on the two cards. That was all on day 1. Day 2 i pick up the prescription on my way to work and on day 3 i took the pillnew prescription with the old prescription too the same pharmacy. Big lady is the one thats there again. I kindly asked her to explain the difference between the two and all she said was Its against the law, i cannot file it like this. I explained to her that I took it to Walmart and they would have filled it, but theyre not in our insurance network so i would have to pay out of pocket, which is almost $70 for just 30 pills. Rude big lady asked me, Well why didnt you take it there then and let them fill it, to which i told her walmart pharmacy is not in our network and the only one around that is inbour network is CVS. (And she rolls her eyes at me and scoffs). At this point im really pissed off and i asked her to just fill the new damn prescription so i can get my sons medication to his school because he has been 3 days without the correct dose and she refuses. ABSOLUTELY REFUSES, telling me i dont have to help u when u talk to me like that. Now mind u, i work at a hospital, i know all about patient/customer satisfaction. If this lady were to be treated at our hospital, even if she does get ruely and upset, we do NOT have the legal capacity to refuse or withold treatment. Im wondering to myself, how this is any different. You fefuse to fill a patients medication that he desperately needs, all because you dont like the way his mom is talking. Poor customer/patient service. Absolutely poor. Needless to say i filed a complaint with the manager at the front counter and will be filing a complaint with their corporate office. Oh and fun little fact, she couldnt tell me which law wouldnt allow her to fill it, and i took the same prescription to another CVS pharmacy who is actually filling it. This pharmacy is ridiculous. I dropped a prescription off on a Thursday and went back 5 times before they actually had it ready for pick up. They could not for the life of them fill my prescription. They had several excuses like "we ordered it but it just hasn't come in yet" to "our system is down". I had to waste my time and gas to make 5 trips out there. Ridiculous. read more

I used to go to Walgreens at corner of Camden and Main St. but it became too busy there. Switched to CVS a few years back. It was wonderful then because I think it was one of those Hope Mills Best Kept Secret. But now, I hate being in the drive thru line because too many times I have driven off after waiting more that 20 minutes for one car to move. What the staff needs to do is, if it is a drive thru customer whose needs arent suited for a drive thu, make them park and go inside. Those customers are so selfish to keep that many others waiting in their cars. Also, my son has a prescription for vyvanse since Dec. only twice did they have it in stock. I have to have it filled by the CVS near Jack Britt. So now, I ask do they have Vyvanse in stock before i hand them the prescription. Since seeing how nice the CVS is set up near Jack Britt, this CVS is overdue for remodeling. The regular store staff never seems to be short staffed but the pharmacy??? read more
